Our stay was amazing! Very cozy and made us feel at home. The outdoor spaces were beautiful over looking the lake. Proximity to the water and also to the town was perfect for us! There are kayaks, beach volleyball, a pool table, play station, guitars, a Viking stove, fireplace, wood burning stove, outdoor grill, porch swing, two large tv lounge areas, a master with jacuzzi tub, rooms that open up to the outdoors, lots of plants, very comfortable beds and so much more!

Great weekend getaway!

We had a fantastic stay in this home! The house was beautiful and comfortable and the location was amazing. We loved being able to use the dock and the easy access the lake. Janine was a wonderful host and made the stay wonderful and easy. We would love to come back!

Beautiful Lake Front Property

Nice area, and very nice place. Lots of patio space to watch the lake and take in the sunset. Family friendly sleeping arrangements. Close to the amenities in Blue Jay, and a short drive to the village.

Cozy home for the family

The house was beautiful! Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Larger beds were very comfortable. Working the tv was a little bit of a challenge but the owner left a book with instructions on things and was great at communicating when we had questions. The family had a wonderful time and would be happy to return.

Home away from Home!

As someone mentioned before this place does not feel like a rental but like you've stepped into your own vacation home. It's very well appointed, comfy, welcoming and really well maintained. Perfect Christmas!

We had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful cabin through Christmas, our families first Holiday away from home. It couldn't have been more perfect. The house was spacious, clean, well stocked, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The host, Janine, was responsive and communicated throughout the entire process. The location was breathtaking, and had a large, and well furnished deck to enjoy the sparkling lake. We did lots of cooking in the gourmet kitchen, and enjoyed big family meals at the long dining table all together. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to be back very soon :)

Amazing!

What an amazing place! wonderful appliances, furniture, views, amazing access to the lake and dock. Our kids had a great time playing in the sand. Vrbo had it listed as 7bd so we were confused but the Owner was great at explaining the layout and the 6bedrooms. The bunk house has a separate entrance on the outside of the house and had a bathroom with shower and pool table. Plenty of room and sitting space everywhere for our multigenerational family. The Owner is extremely responsive and accommodating. This is by far the best spot we've rented at Lake Arrowhead, especially with the easy access to the beach. We will absolutely be coming back!

Beautiful Home! Grounds unavailable

The house is beautiful, clean, warm and colorful. Full kitchen, spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Space to be together for the whole family! Parking was easy and easy access for unloading. Internet was unreliable, cut in and out. Because of association rules we as renters were not allowed to use pathways and trails outside the cabin and near the lake or Lake Arrowhead itself. As a result activities outdoors were non-existent unless we drove elsewhere.

Better than photos

This home has it all plus more! The decks plus the beach were our absolute favorite plus the completely stocked kitchen. It even has a waffle maker! Before we booked we were worried about the room layout since we were all adult couples. It all worked out perfectly once we got there and saw how awesome the home is laid out. Here is the room layout in case you need it: 1st floor (main floor) one queen bed room with windows, one queen bed room with balcony facing the lake, one bed room with 2 twins and blackout shades. One shared full bathroom with dual sinks. 2nd floor (kitchen floor) master bedroom and bathroom room with king bed plus deck facing the lake. Fully stocked kitchen and gas fireplace. Plus an additional bathroom with a shower that acts as the “communal bathroom”. This floor has a huge deck with plenty of seating for 15+ people and the brand new grill. 3rd floor: smaller living area attached to the room with the twin bed plus private bath and laundry room. This floor has a huge covered deck favoring the lake with seating and a hammock. You can access the deck from the twin room or the living room. This is the perfect “kids area” because there are games and the living room is worry free. 4th floor: This is the bunk room. I thought the bunk room would be the “worst room” for one couple to share and boy was I wrong! It has a ton of room, a private bath, a ping pong table, a private entrance and good sized deck facing the lake with seating. It was absolutely heavenly. The beach area is a large communal space, but apparently no one ever uses it so we got to take over the whole thing and had a great day kayaking, jumping off the dock and playing outdoor games. The only thing I would add to Janine’s house is a few beach umbrellas (and honestly she had so much stuff she may have had them and we didn’t see them). The location couldn’t have been better. 15 min walk to the grocery store, through the woods along the lake. This house is perfect for a big group and we will be back. Thank you Janine!

Christmas Vacation 2021

What a wonderful time we had. Our large group including our fury pups, felt like we were hidden away in fairytale as it snowed on Christmas day. The nicely appointed kitchen had everything we needed to celebrate as the fireplace crackled away. The sky high ceilings, large bedrooms & multi level floors were very comfortable for 10 guests, with views of the snow covered mountains & lake from almost every room. The pics don't do this welcoming & spacious retreat justice. We did not all arrive together & with each new arrival entering, their eyes wide & jaws dropped, I was given the gift I had hoped for. The wooded area gave the kids & pups lots of fun in the snow. We look forward to returning at a different season to enjoy this fabulous hidded gem in the forest. Thanks to our host for a great fun filled & unforgettable Christmas family vacation.

Perfect family gathering

My extended family and I stayed here to celebrate a birthday and take the kids to Santa’s Village. We thoroughly enjoyed our time. We woke up to beautiful views of the lake, we’re close enough town and yet felt removed from the fray. We would definitely stay here again.

The pictures did not do the property justice.

The house was amazing and was best suitable fir multiple families. First floor when you walk in is 3 bedrooms. Second floor has kitchen familly/dining room, bathroom with shower and master with w/ bath. Third floor had another living room with a bedroom and bath w/ shower and fourth floor (bunk room) had bunk beds, bath w/shower and a little living room. The pictures do not do this house justice!! It was amazing !!

Perfect Family Vacation Cabin!

This extremely spacious and clean cabin was beautiful! Perfect location with lake view (got to enjoy the full moon!). It was very comfortable for our family of 6 adults and 3 children. Brought our own games but didn’t need to—lots already there! Great kitchen with large dining table that fit all of us. Janine was very nice and quick to respond to our questions. Hope to come back in summer!!

Great Stay!

The property was perfect for three couples and out children. We spent most of our time around the kitchen table admiring the view while the kids played in the downstairs living room. The little hill out back was perfect for sledding. Other guests may want to know that the bunk room is detached with it's own entrance, but it wasn't an issue for us. We hope to come back in the summer!

Excellent holiday!

Property was wonderful and we happened to have a fabulous snow storm. My son said, "the vacation was magical." Thanks to the property owner who was on top of everything. Only concern was the Wi-Fi, which didn't work. However, there is some merit to being unplugged sometimes!

Our family has enjoyed many a holiday at this special location. We have many fond memories of everything from summer boating to winter skiing. Enjoying this home for many family gatherings was truly a delight. I don't know that there was ever a time of year we did not thoroughly enjoy. Sadly, our children's schedules do not permit us to get back as much as we could when they were young and we now enjoy giving this place to other families to enjoy.
