The Daun holiday flat is located in the centre of the small town and holiday resort of Daun, in the immediate vicinity of the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool and many other leisure facilities and excursion destinations.
The charming little town of Daun offers a wide range of small shops, restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity of the holiday flat. The "Wehrbüsch" hiking area is only a few minutes' walk away. The lakes and maars are only approx. 2 km away.

Holiday flat Daun: The beautiful holiday flat is newly renovated and suitable for 8 people, size on 2 floors: approx. 95 sqm. It is located on the 1st and 2nd floor of the City Holiday Home Vulkaneifel (separate entrance). It has a living room with double sofa bed, sofa corner and dining area, large HD TV with many German and international channels, with DVD player and stereo system with radio, CD and USB, 3 separate bedrooms with large double beds, one bedroom is located in an apartment-like room on the upper floor / gallery (accessible via spiral staircase). There is also a complete sofa set, 2nd HD TV, DVD player, stereo system with radio, CD and USB.
The beautiful, new sauna with 3D floor is integrated in the gallery. The flat also has a new, separate kitchen with 4-burner hob (ceramic hob) and oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and an additional dining area in the kitchen, bathroom / shower / WC / whirlpool, modern countertop washbasin, beautiful LED mirror, hotel hairdryer, infrared heating with photo, HD TV and DVD, beautiful wooden floorboard, wardrobe, central heating, games. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the basement of the house.

An ornamental gravel area has been lovingly and lavishly laid out on the outside of the house. With a fountain and a small waterfall. The house and the outdoor areas are very attractively illuminated in the evening and at night in a play of colours with LED spotlights.
The Vulkaneifel city holiday home faces the street on one side and a small urban park on the other.

Behind the house is a quiet garden area with a lawn, outdoor seating, fountain, barbecue and children's play tower with slide, sandpit and 2 swings.
This well-kept outdoor area can be used by you.

The holiday flat is equipped with: Microwave, 2 coffee machines (Bosch Tassimo pod machine and a filter machine), toaster and kettle. Pots and pans as well as cutlery and crockery for the maximum possible number of people are of course available. A cot and high chair can be provided free of charge.

The free car park is located directly behind the house, in the courtyard.

The Daun Wildlife and Adventure Park and the associated summer toboggan run are just 2 kilometres away. The world-famous Nürburgring race track is only about 18 km away. One of the most beautiful cycle paths in Germany, the Maare - Mosel cycle path (former railway line to the Mosel), starts and ends in Daun. Bicycles can also be hired cheaply in Daun. In the well-known tourist town of Daun, the volcano museum, the indoor swimming pool, many small shops and good guesthouses invite you to visit. Leisure activities and excursion destinations The Volcanic Eifel is particularly famous for its many maars (crater lakes). The 3 "Dauner Maare" are located directly in the village (Schalkenmehrener Maar) or approx. 2 to 3 kilometres away (Weinfelder and Gemündener Maar). The maars are known as the "eyes of the Eifel". Some of them are bathing lakes with very good water sports facilities and boat hire (e.g. Schalkenmehrener Maar, Gemündener or Pulvermaar), but they are also very well-known nature conservation and hiking areas. The Moselle is not far away. We recommend a trip to Cochem, Traben-Trarbach, Bernkastel or Trier, the oldest city in Germany. The neighbouring countries of Luxembourg, Belgium and France are also well worth a visit. The world-famous Nürburgring with its wide range of events and leisure facilities is very popular with visitors. Or visit one of the countless castles and palaces in the region. Other excursion destinations: Various animal parks, observatory, bell foundry, beekeeping, volcano museum in Daun, Maar museum in Manderscheid, volcano house and volcano adventure trail in Strohn, geo-route, geological excursions, adventure park, visit to the Eifel Nature Park, etc. The Eifel is also very well known for its artists and writers.
