Friends winter getaway

Great location. Layout of house is awesome. Nice sitting area both upstairs and a small one downstairs. Only suggestion is there are only 6 chairs for the dining table and a few stools but if everyone wants to play a game, it's not comfortable for all

Great location

Loved the location of the home, great ocean views on a quiet street. Large and spacious, perfect for 8 couples and a dog. House could have been cleaned better. You can definately tell it is “pet friendly”.

Great place to stay

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful views from the top floor. Does have a bath to the sand cliffs of the beach, but you need to walk done a paved road ~1/2 a mile to get to the actual beach entrance. Generally clean and as advertised.

Beautiful location and views, walk right out to the beach! Home is very worn and in need of repair.

The home has the most beautiful views of the ocean from the kitchen, dining room, living room and second floor deck. Beyond the deck is a small yard with a fire pit and beyond the yard walk right onto a quiet beautiful stretch of beach. Home is large with 2 separate living spaces. Upstairs- the main floor is 2 bedrooms, the primary king bedroom with on suite, 2nd bedroom with queen bed, large kitchen, dining room, living room and back deck. Downstairs is 2 more bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry room and small living area. Plenty of space for multiple families to enjoy without being on top of each other. House is worn down and clearly pet friendly, scratches on doors, stains on downstairs carpet, broken blinds and ripped furniture. WiFi is very inconsistent and the only way to use the downstairs tv with Roku. Kitchen has basic cooking equipment, pots pans, hand mixer and blender. Only spices are salt pepper, and garlic salt. Bring cooking oil and anything needed for cooking. No tin foil, zip lock bags or food storage. Limited dish washer soap and 1 roll of paper towels. There are beach towels and laundry soap in the laundry room. Home is sparse, no board games, sand toys, beach chairs or books. You can walk 25 minutes to town, including pelican brew pub. Location and view make up for many of the home’s opportunities.

we have come to this town for 40 years. we have stayed in many places but this is by far the best . Quiet area but not far from the cape . beautiful view of ocean rain or shine

Amazing location with a beautiful view from the entire upper floor. Wonderful access to the beach literally steps from the backyard. Very quiet, beautiful soft sand, public beach just beyond the rental.The upstairs includes a primary bedroom with attached bath and king bed. An additional bedroom with queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. Living room, dining room, and large kitchen as well as a deck. The living room deck, kitchen, and dining room all have amazing ocean views.Downstairs is another living area lots of opportunity to separate space if there’s multiple families staying at the property. Downstairs there’s a laundry room a bathroom, another living area and two bedrooms one with an attached bath.The home is definitely pet friendly and has seen some wear, there’s broken window coverings ripped furniture, significant staining on the downstairs carpet and scratches on the doors and walls.The kitchen is very large, but minimal in terms of spices or cooking oil. There is a blender, pans, coffee filters, and basic utensils with a small amount of dishwasher soap. But lots of room in the kitchen for multiple people to be in there at the same time.There are beach towels and laundry soap in the laundry room.The Internet is really problematic. The Wi-Fi kept going out and the kids couldn’t even watch a full movie downstairs at the Roku TV. If you need reliable Wi-Fi for work, I would not recommend this property. The home was sparse, no sand, toys, books or games.

Exceptional Property

Wonderful Beach Trip

This house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the bedrooms were all clean, and there was plenty of space for our children to play. The beach front view is wonderful and it is such a short walk to get down to the sand. Our family had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

Marvelous Beach House

Spectacular view. Ideal location. Perfect size for our needs. Impressive sandy backyard abruptly drops (possibly, 20-30 feet?) to the ocean shore. Beach access is "easy" up or down the road a quarter mile. Walking distance to horse stables and boat launch. Lovely town.

4th of July at the Coast with family

lots of space

4 ladies on a girls trip. We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean. Good layout. The house could use some chairs for the deck in order to enjoy the view. Walkable to restaurants and a quick walk down to the water.

Great for a family reunion

We stayed with our adult children and their partners. The set up of the house was perfect for a multi-generational family, especially with the extra downstairs sitting area and the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. The view is definitely better than the photos. The only downside for us was that there's actually kind of a cliff between you and beach. The dune west of the house is quite steep with a 15 foot drop so you really have to walk or drive about .4 mile along the road to the beach access either to the north or south. It wasn't a problem for us but was a surprise.

Unbeatable location and great view

Great location - a quick walk to beach. Huge picture windows with incredible views and lots of space for 2 families of 4. The property is dated but I didn’t mind. Carpet in the basement needs to be replaced. Other than that, it was well stocked in the kitchen (except it needs more dish towels) with a huge cozy area in the living room to sit and chat or read books. Beds were comfortable. Oh, if you do come make sure to bring your own lawn chairs for sitting on the beach. They didn’t have any.
