Cheerful & Affordable 2 BR Cottage - available as off-season rental

Spectacular Fortunes Rocks Beach, one of Maine's longest and most beautiful, is just steps away (60 yards). This cute and simple cottage offers 2 bedrooms: one full and two twin beds. The cottage also provides a full (small!) bath with full size tub, kitchen dining area, and large deck for sunning and socializing. There is ample off-street parking and a small, shaded backyard with outdoor shower. Cable, high speed wifi, three smart TVs and an outdoor grill are provided for your convenience. Hot air furnace heat for chilly nights. Kitchen equipped with oven, range, microwave, full sized as well as smaller "happy hour" fridge, keurig and drip coffee maker, lobster pot, and ocean views! Hand towels, paper towels, napkins, and hand soap provided. High chair, kid utensils and some toys provided. Pack n Play available upon request. Some beach chairs available. No washer/dryer or dishwasher.

This quaint property is easily accessible from I-95 and it is only 9 miles from historic Kennebunkport's shops and restaurants. Also in the area are the Audubon trails in Biddeford Pool, bike-friendly roads, and kayak rentals.

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was in close proximity to UNE for student move in and the beach was right at the end of the road. It was laid out well and perfect for our family of four and our dogs.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The beautiful location offered stunning ocean views, and the spacious deck expanded the outdoor living area perfectly. It was the ideal spot to relax and enjoy meals while taking in the scenery.

Family Reunion at the beach

The location was perfect. Steps from the beach. We were visiting with family who had a large house nearby so the cottage was great for our needs. We enjoyed the deck.

Perfect beach vacation house!

We are return guests and each year, we just find ourselves wishing we could stay longer! The house is just the right size, clean, lovely ocean view and cool in the shade. Diane has been so accommodating and friendly. Can't wait for next year!

Camp by the beach

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Being steps from the beach and enjoying the spacious deck with our dog were the highlights. We enjoyed not being caught up in the hubbub of more touristy areas, but getting to a restaurant or store was a bit of an effort. Living quarters inside were a little tight with two adults and teenage son, but we made it work.

Beautiful Biddeford pool!!

We had a great time and the cottage was sweet. The location was awesome, the deck is also awesome. Everything about the reservation went smoothly. We had a minor plumbing issue and the owner took care of it wimmediately. All in all a great spot and a great week !

Wonderful location, steps from beach.

This was a very comfortable stay, just across the road from a fantastic beach. There is a hose right by the door to wash off sandy feet. The wrap around porch has ample seating and the picnic table was well utilized for food and card playing. Our one glitch was that we didn’t notice that linens were not included until we went to bed, but Diane got an ample supply to us by the morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location, location, location!

Fortune's Rocks Beach is a gorgeous 2 mile long sandy beach and from this house you can walk there in two minutes. When you sit on the large wrap around deck, you can see & hear the surf. This is beach living! The house is a bit dated but has all the necessities - and did I mention it is only a two minute walk to a gorgeous sand beach?!

Cozy beach cottage

This small vintage cottage has rustic charm and is a short stroll to Fortunes Rocks Beach. We enjoyed sunrise walks and sunset cocktails on the huge, flat beach. You can see and hear the ocean from the cottage, and the wraparound deck gets the warm morning sun for coffee. It's located only a 10 minute drive from charming Cape Porpoise and 15 from downtown Kennebunkport. A big plus is access to the beach via an opening in the stone wall -- avoiding the need to find parking. We loved the cottage and hope to return!

My husband and I have summered on Fortune's Rocks Beach since 1970. We fell in love with this cottage and it was the perfect spot to vacation with our daughters. We have spent hours on this family-friendly beach: looking for sea shells, playing in the waves, and building sand castles. Now they look forward to returning to this special place ever summer - more and more appreciative of the beauty of Fortune's Rocks.
