Beach Stay

Everything was wonderful. The house was well kept, clean and stocked with all needed items for a family vacation at the beach. Owners left a nice gift of a bottle of wine and cold waters for our arrival. Very enjoyable from start to finish.

Perfect Home Away From Home

This lovely property is in the perfect location and provides everything your family could need for a wonderful vacation. A short walk to the beach, boardwalk, pharmacy, grocery store and so much more yet sits on a quiet street where you can enjoy the private backyard or relax on the front porch. The owners are super responsive and provide lots of extras with the rental - bedding, towels, paper products etc. The house is very well maintained - you’ll feel right at home. We can’t wait to return every summer!

Another Fabulous Stay!

We can't say enough about this property! The house is comfortably furnished and plenty of room for a family to spread out and enjoy both inside and outside living spaces. The fenced in private yard is a fabulous perk! The location is perfect and within walking distance of everything you could need. Relaxation on the beach is just a short walk away! The owners are easy to reach and quick to respond. Can't wait to return!

Relaxing Getaway

This home is delightful in every way. From the front porch to the immaculate interior to the private back yard - you'll find everything you need to enjoy a relaxing vacation. This location has the best of everything - a short walk to the beach, boardwalk, local restaurants, pharmacy and the grocery store. The owners are very responsive with any questions you may have. Great value and worth revisiting this home every summer. See you in 2024 Ortley Beach!

We loved our stay at this home. It was newly updated, clean & looked exactly like the pictures. It was my daughter's request to stay down the shore instead of having a birthday party & it was the best decision we could have made. We loved how close we were to both the ocean & the bay, the food/liquor store & so many other thingsWe walked to the Sunny Hunny for breakfast a few times & we toThe Music Man twice! The welcome package added a great personal touch & the owner was quick to respond to my text. O would absolutely recommend this to family & friends & would definitely rent from here again.

Backyard is the winner

The backyard was such a plus. To find a 3 bedroom with a nice sized closed-in backyard for a reasonable price is sometimes hard. The owner has more than enough seating outside as well. There is a glass dining table with umbrella outside, 2 lounge chairs, a few extra plastic chairs and beach chairs as well. The house is close to the beach, 2 blocks from Acme supermarket and the liquor store and is walking distance to the boardwalk. I’ve stayed in seaside before and I didn’t like that I had to walk through the boardwalk to get to the beach. This house has access to a more private beach so it’s more family oriented.

Great family vacation......

Our family of 4 enjoyed this spacious, clean and close to everything home. Short walk to the beach, boardwalk and restaurants. The kitchen is stocked well with everything you may need to make a meal. The front closet has board games for those rainy days and corn hole, frisbees and pickle ball to play in the beautiful back yard. Outside table and chairs are set on the patio to enjoy a dinner or just sit in the sun and enjoy the weather. Beach chairs and umbrellas are also provided for the beach. The large bathroom has a nice shower/bathtub with plenty of towels for their guest. Washer and dryer was a great addition after the sandy days at the beach. Central air and ceiling fans makes it cool on those warm nights. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay 5 stars. We will be back.

Five Stars All Around

Can’t say enough good things about this property. We came down from MA and my daughter flew in from CA. Perfect size and location for the family. Everything you’ll need is there and works! A surprise gift too. We had a very nice and comfortable stay. Our hosts thought of everything! Hope to return again.

Backyard Bonus

The house was clean and had all necessities for a wonderful week. The back patio and yard were one of the reasons for renting the house. There was plenty of room to hang out and play backyard games. We would definitely rent the house again!

Great vacation week

this was the second time we stayed at this property and once again we had a great time. House was very clean and well equipped. Near the boardwalk and amusement park which is great to entertain kids. Nice restaurants and grocery just a few blocks away.

Fabulous beach house!

This house was clean, spacious and easy to maintain. There is much more space than what appears in the pictures. The large fenced in grass yard was such a bonus space at the beach! The outside shower was private, clean and spacious. Such a bonus to not have to lug bath towels and bedding on vacation. The towels were a little thin and small but that’s probably the only complaint I could come up with for this property. The owners were courteous and helpful with minor issues that came up during our stay. We would definitely recommend this place and look forward to renting here again in the near future.

Wonderful week!

The house was very clean, well equipped, everything (appliances, lights, etc) working perfectly. Private backyard for the family outside dinner. Great communication with management. Walking distance to Boardwalk (kids love it), Grocery. To make it even better the location is quiet for a nice sleep.

Clean, Cozy & Comfortable

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation in Ortley. The house was immaculately clean, tastefully decorated and fully stocked with all the necessities. John & Judy thought of everything - and even left a welcome gift. The outdoor shower is wonderful and the yard is perfect for the afternoons - kids can play and you can relax with a cold drink after a long day at the beach. With cute porches in front and back, and the patio - there are lots of options for enjoying your morning cuppa joe. We plan on returning. 10/10

Wonderful Beach Retreat

What a wonderful place to stay in Ortley Beach - a few very short blocks from the beach. The place is perfectly maintained and has all the amenities to make you feel right at home. It is very clean and the convenience of having bedding and linens provided is an exceptional value add. The private backyard complete with grill, outdoor dining table and lounge chairs is an added bonus - a perfect place to unwind after a day in the sand. We will definitely be returning to this place. Loved every minute spent here! Thanks to John and Judy for the wonderful welcome and for sharing your home!!

Great time!

We had a wonderful time at this adorable 3-bedroom home, which is super-clean and has everything you might need during your stay. Some HIGHLIGHTS: — Loved the large fenced-in backyard, especially for my rambunctious 2.5 year-old toddler. So rare to get a real backyard down the shore. — The beds were VERY comfy! And so were the sheets — so soft! (AND so nice to not have to bring towels or bedding! They provide everything!) — The owners were super-responsive and nice and helpful (I got the patio umbrella stuck in a tilt and John helped me figure out how to get it down right away, and they came to put the outside furniture away when a big storm was on its way.) — I loved the outside shower. Roomiest one I've ever used with hooks and a little table for your clothes/towels. — You can sit on the cute front porch and see what's going on or hang out in the backyard, was nice to have both options and different places for everyone to chill after a day at the beach. — Nice and close to A&P for groceries, walking distance to beach, etc. — The owners left a sweet welcoming gift which was a lovely touch. NO complaints! Would stay again in a heartbeat. Thanks, John & Judy!

Amazing Jersey Shore

The place was fabulous, clean and perfect, the weather was terrific too... only one rainy day all week. Restaurants fabulous as usual. My first VBRO experience and not my last im sure. Would highly recommend this rental to anyone. Thank you John and Judy for an amazing vacation.
