Beautiful property but was missing cozy touches. We liked the bed but our 26 year old daughter thought they were overly firm. Wi-Fi was slow but did work. Hot tub was awesome but deck lighting could be better.

Perfect for a sister get away. We each had our own bed space but a nice kitchen and living room to be together. The hot tub was lovely.

Wedding weekend getaway for close family.

Comfortable and relaxing place, a nice roomy place to cook and visit. The location was perfect for getting to the Mendocino Woodlands wedding location as well as the charming town of Mendocino itself.

Cozy cabin that could use updates

This was a very cozy cabin with a great location. The windows made it really neat. The loft was fun for my daughter who slept there and loved it. Had basic kitchen items, but we did have to buy a mixing bowl at the 2nd hand shop. It was a quick drive to Headlands State Park, which we quickly learned to love as a place to walk along the cliffs overlooking the beautiful ocean. Overall, we loved this placed. Just know the furniture is old and mismatched and uncomfortable. My husband was disappointed in the jacuzzi. He said it had stuff floating in it and the jets were weak.

Beautiful cabin in a great location. 5 minutes from the Mendocino Headlands, 10 minutes from hiking. Would gladly atay here again!

The mattresses on both beds were poor. No kleenex. No frying pan. Non working light in main bath and no fire place to enjoy.

Sweet and cozy

Perfect sister getaway trip for the weekend. Perfectly located across from the main town and was quiet and cozy. Only issue is that the provided WiFi is not good at all. Made it inconvenient when trying to plan and search things around town from the house.

Lovely Mendocino house in the forest

The area was perfectly quiet, the house was very private, the hot tube was wonderful. The interior is spacious and well furnished. Being five minutes from Mendocino was a great location. We will be back!

Location and hot tub!

This was nice and close to downtown Mendocino, not too far from several great state parks and had a lovely hot tub to unwind in at the end of the day. Kitchen was clean and functional too.

Great A-frame house nestled in the redwoods

About a mile from the town of Mendocino, this is a great home to gather with friends. Enjoy the evening hot tub under the stars or board games at the card table up in the loft.

Magical weekend

We rented the house for three nights and really loved our time. It gives a bad first impression because unlike the title on the listing there is nothing luxurious about the house at all. It’s a well maintained house the seems to be built in the mid 80’s or early 90’s and has had very few updates. The furniture is hodgepodge and none of it is nice or in great condition. The bed and bedding is just average. All this said it was comfortable, spacious, in the redwoods with a hot tub and a five minute drive to Mendocino village. As an added bonus the kitchen was well adorned, which was nice. We bought fruit and veggies at the Friday farmers market and they were absolutely amazing to cook with. The house manager seems to do a good job and the management company seemed very on top of things. There were lots of towels and they had extra heaters you could use in the bathroom or whatever. We didn’t want to leave. I would give it five stars if the fireplace use wasn’t prohibited (seems to be an HOA restriction related to fire prevention, but it’s a gas fireplace so I can’t see why it isn’t allowed).

Cute little cabin in the woods

We stayed for 4 days in the cabin while we explored the area. The cabin is conveniently located near the town of Mendocino. We could walk from the cabin to downtown and it was only a little over a mile. The drive to the nearby state parks, Fort Bragg and the skunk train was quick and easy. The cabin itself was quiet and clean. We cooked there every night and they had everything we needed to do so. We saw deer in the yard every morning. It’s a lovely vacation spot

Perfect location, room for entire family of adult siblings and adult children

Carlo and Flavia were very helpful hosts and helped us arrange our transport from the airport to the property in the historic center. Everything was clean and functioning and in a fabulous location! Be prepared to pay a little extra for air-conditioning if you’re there in very hot summer months, but totally worth it! Highly recommend!

Very nice stay

This is a gorgeous house and we loved the setting, convenient location, and big windows. It was very clean. We appreciated the managers communicativeness. With rentals like this you dont know if the place will be stocked with kitchen essentials, books, games. This one is on the more minimal end of things. We had what we needed to get by with some creativity and they had salt and olive oil but no books, games, and no cheese grater for example. I don’t think that’s an issue, but it’s worth mentioning to let future guests know what to bring.

Perfect private romantic. Location is incredible. So close to everything. Beautiful surroundings. It’s outdated but still fully functional and clean. Cozy. LOVED the hot tub. So peaceful and lots of natural light. Deer walked right up to the railing as we watched from the kitchen. Would stay here again for sure.

Cozy and peaceful!

Such a perfect location and just what we were looking for - a romantic and peaceful getaway in a beautiful town. We love and appreciate how the home is tucked away and very private. The layout of the house is open and airy and allows for so much natural light. The hot tub is on a very nice deck which is perfectly located close to a private entrance from the master bathroom. The hot tub was heated and ready, clean, and easy to use. Deer visited us and we were able to view them right from the kitchen / living room. There were plenty of towels and the right about of kitchenware to be able to make home cooked meals. We would definitely stay here again, but this time with the kids since there is plenty of space and would also be a great place for a family getaway.

Lovely cabin in the redwoods

Perfect place for 3 friends to relax, visit and enjoy the rainy January weather. Close to town and to the ocean. Nice paths and quiet road to walk among the redwoods.
