Well stocked and comfortable for our family. The interior could use a like refresh but the terrace made up for it. Great place for hosting larger familes with the garage room conversion.

We loved this house! The setting is so special with a beautiful view of the mountains and a nice sitting area outside with fire pit. The rooms were comfortable and the kitchen was very well stocked. We would definitely recommend and stay again!

A very comfortable, rustic stay for our family of 5. Plenty of space for the family to gather, and a very functional kitchen. The website says 4 bedrooms, but there are 3.

Great get away! Very quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed, from kitchenware to towels and linens, felt like a home away from home. Enjoyed cooking and bbqing for the family, and loved the option of outdoor or indoor seating for all 7 of us! The property was perfect with lots of different outdoor spaces to enjoy. Truly a retreat!

I was in need of a rental home for 3 weeks. I could not have found a better home and host than right here. The communication was stellar throughout. The house has an incredible sense of remote rustic feel while being very close to Thousand Oaks, Oxnard, etc. I loved the ease of commute to LA where I was needed on business a few times. The back patio in mornings and evenings, the open air vibe with the sliding doors open in the cool CA air - all create an amazing atmosphere. I love to cook - the kitchen is fantastic, as is the grill out back. I highly recommend this home and would return and rent it again.

Fire Pit with Terrific View

The living spaces were much larger than I expected. The best part was the adorable little patio with a big fire pit and a fabulous view. And it was so peaceful!! Would have been nice to have some sort of closet or at least a hanger in one of the small bedrooms. Terrific kitchen with everything we could ever want. We had guests over and had no problem with fitting 18.

Amazing Experience

This place was just perfect for us. We were in town for a wedding and there was more than enough room for us to relax and get ready. Just wish we had booked a few extra days to enjoy the house and the views!

Perfection

Came to Cali from Michigan for our 1st borns wedding. We have a family of 6 and the space was ideal. Location to venue was perfect. Loved the layout of the home. We actually had the rehearsal dinner catered in at the house due to the layout and outdoor areas.

Private retreat with views & lovely landscaping

Great spot to stay in Thousand Oaks. The back yard is beautiful & comfortable. Was perfect for our family & dogs. Beautiful views and a lovely sunny family room. Nice SoCal indoor outdoor living.

My wife Hollie, two daughters Sydney and Maxine, Sandy (our yellow lab) horse name Ned and Leo our barn cat. We (only the humans) travel a lot between our houses in Portland Or. and Thousand Oaks, Ca. We are both entrepreneurs, Hollie a Communication consultant and I am architectural designer We homeschooled our children till there were 8 and 10 and considered it a privilege with to have them in our lives all the time. Both are out of the house (official "empty nesters!) As a family we love adventure and life. Snow skiing almost weekly during the winter between Mt. Hood, Or. and Snow Valley,Utah. Mountain biking in the Santa Monica mountains and Bend, Or. I am an avid marathon runner, trail runner, and hiker. We love food from all parts of the world and get to experience it often when we are in Portland visiting the famous food carts.

Though the neighborhood is an older subdivision of small homes and lots, our ONE ACRE property sits atop of a hill above a cul de sac with stunning views. There are no houses behind us that give total privacy for the outdoor shower. Every afternoon we get breezes from the coast that is only 8 miles away

Great entertaining space. The 12' wide bi-folding doors open up to the front patio with features a 12' long table for large gathers, fire pit, bbq. and hammock overlooking the Santa Monica mountains. Equipped with outdoors speakers that can be hook up your laptop or smartphone for music listening.
