Lovely home, great location

Jose's casa at Los Amores is exactly as it looks in the photos. It's spacious, clean, comfortable, and well equipped for any length of stay. I was there for 5 weeks in total, including 2 weeks with 2 friends visiting and we found there to be plenty of space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The newly built pergola offers a private patio and bbq area that provides shade throughout the day and a lovely ambience for evening meals. I was lucky enough to have ripe bananas to pick every morning. Rosa, the property manager, is very easy to contact and responded very quickly to the minor concerns I needed help with. The Los Amores community feels very safe and is beautifully maintained. The view from the pool is exceptional. I was initially concerned about the location at the north end of Bucerias but it was not an issue at all. The beach and many restaurants are within a 10-15 minute walk. Overall I loved my stay at casa 15 and would definitely stay again. Jose is very friendly and accommodating, quick to respond to emails, and really wants his guests to be happy.

ALL THE COMFORTS OF HOME ON VACATION

It was a 3 Bedroom Townhouse. Lower level was open concept with Living room,Dining room Kitchen and Powder room on the main floor. The living room has comfortable couches a very large TV. Dining table , AC and Fans.seats six, the chairs are heavy and could do with felt pads on the chair legs. Kitchen has sufficient China, cutlery, glasses, large gas range and oven, and many appliances. Percolator, Toaster, Slow cooker, high speed blender, and a Hot & Cold Water dispenser. Off the Kitchen is a Large Washer and Dryer and lines for hanging clothes. Off the Living room is a Pergola and a garden. There is a Banana grove and we enjoyed fresh Bananas. Upstairs there are 3 Bedrooms with one Queen, one Double and 2 Twin beds. They all have AC, dressers and night tables, and reading lamps. One ensuite Washroom and another one to be shared by the other 2 bedrooms. Bring an eye mask as there is a skylight in the Master walk in closet. From the upstairs bedroom you get a beautiful view of the Cruz de Huanacaxtle Marina. Manzanilla is a calm beach. There are Aqua & Zumba water exercises, Volleyball, Mexican train and pot luck suppers. Jose is a caring owner and Rossy is a good agent that solves all problems.

Feeling a touch of Heaven !!!!!!

As we arrived to Jose's townhouse for the second year in a row we felt like being HOME again! Was such a wonderful feeling knowing we came to a wonderful place. We love it so much at Jose's property that we booked for another two years with no hesitation. The property is unbelievably beautiful. The Mexican motif put us right in a calm, relaxing state that we couldn't wait to come back to. The unit is fully equipped with anything you can think of. Beautifully decorated and so very homey . The unit has a side yard with an absolutely top of the line gas grill, ceramic tiled outdoor covered patio with loads of entertaining room, Outside sink and loads of counter space for preparing and also entertaining. Patio set to enjoy your morning coffee and evening supper and relaxing mood lighting, fan, just a totally relaxing atmosphere. A beautiful spot to come and relax out of the sun after being at the beautiful pool to enjoy refreshments and snacks and meals. You can see and tell the work that was put in to make the magnificant outside patio. It was so lovely to have a private yard to either pull the chase lounge chair in the sun or under the covered patio. A beautiful breeze came through the yard that was so refreshing. With the side sliding door and front sliding door it was not always necessary to have the air conditioner on. The cross breeze was fantastic. The Interior is so comfortable, with the 55 inch tv in the living room to the gorgeous dining area with the island and the kitchen had every amenity you could ask for, Blender, toaster, microwave, coffee maker every kitchen Item you could think of.. pots, pans, large refridge, full size range with oven. dishes and cups and glasses for 12 or more people. The unit has a full size washer and dryer off the kitchen in its own room which was wonderful, There was a abundance of linens and towels. Loved the 2 and 1/2 baths. so convenient one full off the master bedroom and the other full bath between the other 2 bedrooms. The rooms were beautifully decorated. Walk in closet in the master bedroom and huge closet space in another bedroom. The master bedroom has a patio that you could watch the beautiful view of the ocean, the marina in the distance. The unit is on a hill so the view was breathtaking. Jose was a perfect owner and we loved spending time with him, Jose did not spare any detail to this unit. We cant wait to return next year.

Spacious comfortable Townhouse with all the comforts of home

The Townhouses are beautifully laid out. The landscaping and attention paid to the grounds is outstanding. Gardeners are obsessive about cutting, watering, the lawns The Living, Dining room and Kitchen are on the main floor and there are 3 fans on this level and it is airconditioned. There are 2 couches, a 6 seater dining table and 2 bar height chairs. There is a powder room on the main floor. Stainless Steeel Fridge and Gas Range, coffee percolator, toaster. In the walk in Pantry there is a Slow Cooker, Sandwich maker, powerful Blender and other things. There is plenty of Cutlery, plates, quarter plates, tea cups, coffee mugs, lots of glasses of all shapes and sizes. Off the kitchen is a covered area with a big Washer and Dryer. There is a Water Heater in this area and we never ran out of hot water. There is a side yard with a covered patio (Pergola). There is a patio table,4 chairs,overhead fan, lights, a huge BBQ with a side burner. Tiled counter sink and shelves for food preparation. Banana grove had a bunch of ripe bananas that we enjoyed. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms with overhead fans and AC in all the bedrooms. Chest of drawers with mirror and night tables and reading lamps in all the bedrooms. The master has a Queen bed with an ensuite washroom. There is Much appreciated were the blackout curtains. There is a small veranda which looks out to the sea and has a lovely view of the Marina. There is walk in closet with lots of shelves and rods with plenty of hangers for clothes. Not appreciated was the skylight in the walk in closet as the light hits you right in the eyes. Bring an eye mask. The 2nd bedroom is a double bed. The built in cupboards are locked and bolted, but there is plenty of room to share in the master bedroom.The curtains are light and let in the light. The third bedroom there are two twin beds. Very light curtains. No place to hang clothes. There is another washroom on this floor which is shared by the two bedrooms. The only think missing was a corkscrew. The chairs in the dining room are heavy and could do with felt pads on the legs. The representative Rosie could not speak English, but was able to help us with minor problems we had. She has a phone and an email address. She was thoughtful and had the tank filled. Other tenants kept running out of gas. We used local transportation. No trouble getting our deposit back. Large expat community at Amores and lots of activities look at bulletin board in pool area.

great awesome

We are from Canada and we stayed at Jose"s place for 2 months in 2019 and we really enjoyed his beautiful home, it was so much more then we expected and the location was great and Jose was the greatest landlord and any issues we ever had with the place was dealt with immediately definitely rent from him again my wife and i believes that he has the nicest place in the area and we have stayed in many place in Bucerias in the past thanks you Jose your place is awesome

You get what you pay for…and you may pay more for it later

After reading all the positive reviews, I was pretty disappointed in this property and with the property owner. The positives: Bucerias is a beautiful place that is tourist-friendly without being completely crowded, even during Christmas week. It wasn’t nearly as crowded as Sayulita, but it has a great vibe and charm. The house has three bedrooms, three bathrooms, A/C in every room, a good-sized kitchen, and a lovely patio area, including a big patch of grass in the shade that was perfect for my little daughter to play. The infinity pool is very nice, and just steps from the condo. The location of the complex is OK – it’s about a 10 minute walk down to the beach, or ~15 minutes to the town and market, but to get to town you have to walk along the highway and it’s not a nice walk. If I went back, I’d stay closer to the town and beach. The negatives: When we arrived, the house did not feel at all ready for guests – there wasn’t even toilet paper in the bathrooms, or soap to wash your hands, or garbage bags in the bins. We had to immediately go shopping for the very basics. The beds and couches were pretty uncomfortable. Things in the house are old, and when they break it takes time to get them fixed. The hot water heater wasn’t working (the pilot light wouldn’t stay lit), and it took 3 days before a plumber could come fix it. The toilet seat fell from my hand and broke in two in the middle of my stay, so we sat on a half-broken seat. All of this wouldn’t have been a big deal, but then Jose charged me $85 for the toilet seat. I’m still working with VRBO to contest the charge—you’d think after 3 days of cold showers and 2 days balancing on a half-broken toilet seat, the property owner would be offering concessions, not adding charges. All in all, if you can afford something a little nicer, do yourself the favor and go for it. Stay close to the beach, on the other side of the highway.

Lovely Los Amores I condo

The condo was well situated, nice views and close to the pool. We enjoyed the BBQ and patio area, a lovely relaxation area. It was well equipped, and comfortable. We appreciated the wifi and the supply of towels and bedding. We would highly recommend it to friends and relatives.

Enjoy Puerto Vallarta at an Awesome Location (Jose Chavez’ House)

Puerto Vallarta is known for its beaches, water sports and nightlife scene. But staying at Jose’s house made the experience much better. Before our trip began Jose made us feel welcome, he was always ready to answer any questions. The house is at a great location. Just five minutes away from the beach & plaza; just a couple of blocks from the shopping center with multiple nice restaurants. Knowing that Jose and/or Rosa where just a phone call away reassured us that we were on good hands. When we arrived at the condominium, Ivan was awesome. He was already expecting us and greed us with a big smile, showing us how to get to the house, making us once again feel like we had arrived home. The house was impeccable. Rosa really takes pride on her job. We found plenty of towels and were able to fresh up before relaxing for the night. We really enjoyed the nice gas barbeque at the house. In addition, the views from the pool are amazing; we were also able to use one of the three charcoals barbeques at the pool. Having a washer and dryer in the house were definitely a nice plus. While at Puerto Vallarta, we got disconnected from the rest of the world, but it was by choice because the house offers great internet and Television sets with Netflix ready. Next time, we visit Puerto Vallarta; we hope Jose Chavez’ house is available because we will love to stay on it. In addition, before we pay for any tours, we will make sure we talk to Jose and/or Rosa, so that you can help us get better deals. Again, thanks a lot for making our stay at Puerto Vallarta a better experience. Puerto Vallarta es conocido por sus playas, deportes en el mar y la vida nocturna. Pero el quedarse en la casa de José hacen que la experiencia sea muchísimo mejor. Antes de viajar José nos hizo sentir bienvenidos en su casa, siempre estaba disponible para contestar nuestras preguntas. La casa está en un muy buen punto. Solo a cinco minutos de la playa y la plaza y a dos bloques del centro comercial con muchos restaurantes muy buenos. José, Rosa e Iván siempre nos hicieron sentir bienvenidos y seguros. La casa cuenta con una hermosísima parrilla a gas. Las vistas desde la piscina son espectaculares y también cuenta con parrilla al carbón. La casa está muy bien equipada/dotada. Cuenta con lavadora, secadora, internet y televisores con Netflix. La próxima vez que visitemos Puerto Vallarta, esperamos la casa de Jose esté disponible por que nos encantaría quedarnos alli.

fueron nuestros dias de semana Santa muy bonitos en esta casa yena de tranquilidad y bonita tiene todo lo que uno tiene en cas y muy vien decorada y sobre todo muy limpia sus 2 alvercas muy bonitas con vista al oceano casa club con azadores de carbon azamos pescado la jente muy amable es mi primer visita y regresare en el verano de nuevo y pasar tra semana en bucerias en esta casa bonita la recomiendo al 100% a todas las personas que gusten obtener calidad el dueÑo muy amable y sus servicios fueron etxelentes asta le regalamos su boteya de tequila recomendada a parejas jovenes ancianos y niños nosotros de nuestra parte encantados de esta casa bonita con un patio extra con azador y muebles de patio

My second time at Los Amores

This is my second review this year. My second time at Los Amores #15 was again wonderful. The place is in a peaceful neighborhood, close to pool surrounded by lovely people. A 15 minute walk will take you right at the centre of Bucerias where there are many restaurants and bars and of course shopping. Jose Chaves is a wonderful owner. He will do everything he can to make your stay comfortable. I will go back as soon as I can... love it! Ma deuxième fois à Los Amores # 15 était encore merveilleux. L'endroit est dans un quartier paisible, près de la piscine et entouré de gens charmants. Une promenade de 15 minutes vous mènera directement au centre de Bucerias, où il ya beaucoup de restaurants et de bars et bien sûr de shopping. Jose Chaves est un propriétaire merveilleux. Il fera tout son possible pour rendre votre séjour confortable. Je reviendrai dès que je peux ... je l'adore!

Owner is excellent to communicate with

Owner was awesome to deal with and emailed apologies that his property was not available. But VRBO, I would give a 1 star rating as they took my deposit and then informed me the next day that it was not available but instead of cancelling the transaction on my Visa, they put the deposit charge through on my Visa and then took 5 days to credit back. Because my Visa is Canadian and payment in US dollars, I lost $225 in exchange fees for an issue that was not mine. It was totally VRBO that should have voided the original transaction when they found out the unit was not available. I will not be using VRBO again. The owner of this unit was not at fault and that's why I gave a 5 star rating.

Great Stay

Stayed ar # 15 Loa Amores, had a great stay ,very clean. And comfortable, great outdoor kitchen, beautiful pool area, could use a few toss cushions for the sofas. Wonderful holiday home

My husband,and two of our friends stayed at jose so home for 22 days, it was a lovely home, and our host was wonderful, and very helpful, We had all we needed,pool was great, and loved the privacy of this home. Wonderful Xmas in Bucerias at Los Amores

Jose is the perfect owner. He is helpful and a true mexican gentleman. He goes above and beyond to make your stay confortable. The pictures are telling it all. The condo is decorated in the charming color of mexican culture . Fully furnished with two porches and a beautiful BBQ area. It a 30 second walk from the main pool. Los Amores is a gated community. Very safe to stay with young kids. It is 10 minutes walk to the beach. Bucerias is a safe and joyful town. We loved it so much that we are going back in March. Le condo de José est excatement comme les photos que vous voyez sur le site. Décoré avec une saveur mexicaine avec tout ce que vous avez besoin. C'est à 30 secondes de la piscine et à 10 minutes de la plage. Le village et ses villageois sont si gentils et plein d'enthousiame. Il y a beaucoup de Québecois sur place. Alors le francais est ommiprésent et réconfortant pour les touristes que ne parle pas l'espagnol ou l'anglais. Nous avons tellement aimé que nous y retournons en mars.

Unforgettable Experience!!!!

My family and I vacationed here during Christmas of 2015. The owner, from the minute I reserved his house, had been nothing short of accommodating. Any questions we had regarding the town, home or even things to do in that area; he was quick to respond and was very helpful. The house is very beautiful and extremely homey, very well taken care of! We spent countless nights outside in the beautiful Pergola that was recently built. When you look at the Pergola, one can tell how devoted the owner is to his home. He did a magnificent job building it! We also spent a lot of time by one of the two pools that were at our disposable. Every morning there was a crew cleaning the pools, making sure that everything was ready for the guests to enjoy. Also, the security guards that stand watch in this community are the nicest and most helpful people we had ever met. If we had any questions they were quick to help us out. Because of them we were able to explore areas located near by that we perhaps would have otherwise missed. They were very dedicated at making sure we had a safe and unforgettable experience. As our vacation came to an end we were all very sad about leaving. We were not sad at the fact that we were done with our vacation, instead we were saddened by the fact that we were leaving a place we called home throughout our stay. To this day my son still asks we can go back to our house in Mexico. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking to relax or to spend quality time with their family. Excellent Rental

For 4 consecutive years , we have highly appreciated our winter holiday in the casa de los amores 15 , Bucerias . Furnished in a remarkable way, you will have the indoor comfort while entitled undertaking , in part, from the ocean to La cruz de huanaxactle . Thanks to the outside balcony you will admire these fabulous sunsets . The owner improves his casa without even asking . It holds that there has to be happiness in this place. Visit this beautiful casa 15 and you will not be disappointed . Just 20 minutes from the airport , and 5 min. from the beach, several services are installed nearby: centro de Bucerias, walking distance, medical clinic, several choices of good restaurants, easy transport, two spaces for parking. highly recomend this paradise home

this is a great rental property in the middle of the paradise my self and family love this place has every thing you need to feel like home bucerias is great tourist town friendly people we get away and found the right place I personal highly recommend this property to all the tourist that are looking for fun in mexico and relax very private and nice neighborhood Canadians and americans friendly people we are back again in april 2015 for a month to enjoy the precious islands marietas fishing and more we visited la cruz de huanacastle punta de mita higera blanca litibu so nice to describe here Puerto Vallarta is only 17 minutes so every thing you need is close and a safe place for childrens and young people or old cuples came and discover I will do again

¡Casa excelente en medio del paraíso!

Ya llevo tres veces que rento esta casa para mis vacaciones y cada vez he quedado muy satisfecha. La casa esta en muy buenas condiciones y contiene todas las comodidades que uno ocupa y hasta más para hacerle sentir en casa. El pueblo de Bucerías es muy tranquilo y los habitantes son muy amigables con los turistas y visitantes. Si uno no tiene vehículo, es muy fácil usar el transporte publico, y también es muy económico. La ciudad de Puerto Vallarta queda 15 minutos al sur de Bucerias. Dos ventajas mayores de pasar las vacaciones aquí es que hay dos piscinas relajantes, y el mar queda a cinco minutos caminando. Las opciones para divertirse son muchas, desde tours en la selva, hasta islas preciosas escondidas como Las Marietas. Les recomiendo a todos que pasen sus vacaciones en esta casa asombrosa ubicada en medio del paraíso.

Great Private Townhouse & Location!

This is a great rental! Everything you need for a relaxing vacation getaway spot: private and secure, well equipped, two beautiful common area pools, one with great ocean views and just a short walk to restaurants, market and beach. Highly recommend.

Jose grew up in the Mexican state of Jalisco and has traveled the American Continent but has found his state of mind in Bucerias, Nayarit. He welcomes his home to fellow travelers and hopes they find the peace and tranquility in the area just as he has.

When it came to finding the real estate for Jose to retire at, it was not easy. Many beach towns he visited did not offer the security that Los Amores did. One can find peace of mind knowing that the community that you are staying in is constantly under surveillance and the people living in the community of Bucerias offer a warm welcome to newcomers of the town. The area itself is not as populated as the major city located to the south. However, when one wants to leave the simple yet culturally colorful town, more diversity can be found 15 minutes away in the city of Puerto Vallarta.

Some unique benefits that the home has to offer would be the master bedroom balcony which has recently been added (not even a year old yet!), the patio dining area, and the pool area. All three of these areas offer great tranquil views of the ocean and the beautiful sounds they have to offer. At night if one wants to relax it is easy to do so because the nights are calm with the diversity of sounds from the insects and animals of the area. Another great benefit from the pool area is that it includes a club house where you can relax, grill up some meat for a BBQ, or just lay and read a book in the sun or shade.
