We had a wonderful long weekend at Betsey’s stunning waterfront property in Kennebunk. The gorgeous, comfy west-facing covered porch and master bedroom balcony offered amazing sunset views over the bay. And we loved walking our son to Mother’s beach to explore the tide pools each morning. Great playground too! Five-star stay all around!

We would rate this property 4.5 stars based on the views and kind property manager. Upon check in we were greeted with flowers and pastries- so kind. Our only disappointment was the dirty cushions on almost every chair in the outdoor ground floor seating area and the large scuff marks on many of the interior walls. We realize that this is the end of season, but regular maintenance at this price point should take place. That being said, the artwork and decorator touches were lovely. Also to be noted for future guests- there are no bathrooms on the first floor…only upstairs by the two bedrooms.

Phenomenal location and outstanding host (accessible and communicative)! Waking up to views of sunrises over the water and watching sunsets over the water from the covered porch blissful relaxation. Looking forward to staying at Betsy’s beautiful property again!

Perfect weekend gateway location

Everything about this property is amazing. We unfortunately didn’t have the best weather on our stay which was fine with us because the house was so perfect! The Sonos speaker system in every room was an awesome touch especially paired with the outdoor deck. Betsy was more than accommodating and easily the best host I’ve encountered. You surely will not be disappointed with your stay, rain or shine.

HEAVEN in Kennebunk!

This home is better than I hoped, and I had high expectations based on the listing! :) It offered the quiet, views, comfort and amenities that I wanted and surprised me with so much more, from small touches like tea light candles and welcome flowers to a well stocked pantry with spices, oils, etc The location is incredible - on a small peninsula between the bay and the beach. You can see the sun rise and set from different parts of the house. The main level patio is SO comfortable with super comfy furniture right on the wayer. Grab some wood to build an outfoor fire - it's 100% worth it! The beds, bedding, towels, etc were all very high end and comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed and has everything you need. (Note: the ice maker in the freezer was not on/connected, but that might be because I was there in the off off season!) And did I mention the views??? There isn't a room in the house (including the showers!) that don't afford stunning views of the water. Communication with Betsy was super easy, as was accessing the home. I will 100000% be back to Lords Point!!

A Coastal Gem!

We enjoyed every moment at this wonderful house. The location is simply perfect with gorgeous ocean views. The house is welcoming, super clean, and very charming. The large porch provides the perfect outdoor space for relaxing and taking in the ocean air. Betsy is an exceptional host as well. Her lovely personal touches make the house extra special! What a true coastal gem!

Beautiful Home

The sunsets were absolutely stunning! House was absolutely breathtaking. The flowers and pastries upon arrival were such a pleasant surprise! Betsy was a delight to work with. We enjoyed fires in the outdoor fireplace after our days antique shopping and enjoying a nice dinner out! Great location! We can't wait to come back again!!

I have lived and worked in seven cities on three continents around the world. I have been fortunate to have traveled extensively and enjoyed many luxuries in life. And from this, I can so appreciate the uniqueness and serenity that this home and this location offers.
