Perfect Beachfront Getaway!

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful beachfront home! The location was absolutely perfect—just steps from the beach and the lagoon.The house itself was ideal for our group of eight. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms, so everyone had their own space and felt completely comfortable. One of the highlights for us was the kitchen—it was fully outfitted with everything we needed to cook and enjoy meals together. You can tell the owners really thought of everything.The decor was elegant and minimalist, creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere without any clutter. It felt like a true retreat. The hosts were incredibly responsive and informative, making check-in easy and keeping aware of anything pertinent that happened during our stay.We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality beach vacation with all the comforts of home!

Perfect location and beautiful beach

Great location and beautiful views. Well appointed kitchen, clean house and great communication with property management. The beach has been privatized so we did struggle a little with beach services, there is an exclusive chair company (that did a great job) but had to figure out SUP boards and kayaks differently than we have in the past.

Fabulous Girls Trip

We stayed in both sides of the duplex for a college girls trip reunion and couldn't have enjoyed the location or homes more. The beach is very wide and private and the home is well equipped and beautifully decorated. We loved the location near Grayton Beach.

Week with the family

This was a fantastic place. We rented both East and west sides of the house the whole house we enjoyed ourselves immensely, and Rebecca with the Properties management company was one of the best girls we had ever dealt with. We want to thank them and also want to thank all the restaurants for feeding us so well such great seafood we had a great week.

Great view, disappointing quality on the inside

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay on 30A at least once a year. We have stayed in many high-end places and this is by far was the most disappointing one. The view is amazing. The overall experience was adequate. There are minor issues like the lack of bikes or beach chairs or golf cart. You can always rent those or pay extra if needed. The main concerns are the quality of the place. For example, the showerhead in our bathroom was applied with a sticky and it kept falling off. The AC broke down one day. Luckily, we were out most of the day and they were able to fix it by the evening. There are other minor issues with the quality of the place. We also spoke to our neighbors who shared the entrance with us and they had similar issues. Overall, the layout is a bit underwhelming. We enjoyed the open space on the first floor. On the first floor there was only one small bedroom. There was only one bathroom that was shared with that bedroom. The second floor had four bedrooms, two of which had you of the water. Quality of the beds were very poor. The place was adequately supplied with towels and other amenities. There was a washer and dryer and a working air fryer and a dishwasher. We also use the grill on the outside. Again we have stayed over 10+ places on 30A and I don’t think we would come back to this one. It wasn’t worth the price.In summary, the place was adequate, but underwhelming.

Fantastic friends weekend

We stayed in this property for Memorial Day weekend. High school friends celebrating 15+ years of friendship. Beach Blue made the process smooth, easy, and enjoyable. This location is great, and we will be back!

There were many items that were in disrepair, outlets that didn’t work, and rusted furniture.

Wow the property looks beautiful in the advertisement, the property needs significant maintenance.

Another good experience with this listing (with one complaint)

We love this property and have stayed here a number of times over the years. In our opinion, the houses right on the beach in the Gulf Trace neighborhood are the best in the area in terms of having beach-front access without the overcrowding associated with Seaside, Rosemary Beach, etc. We had a great stay here again this year, but have one complaint. The upstairs A/C unit went out mid-week, and although the management company was very responsive, it took the better part of 3 days to get the issue resolved and we all had to sleep in pretty uncomfortable conditions at night.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family party of eleven, 6 adults and 5 children (ages 3-11) enjoyed our stay here immensely! There was plenty of room for all and the location right on the beach was just perfect!We all enjoyed just being able to walk down in the morning and set up and enjoy the beautiful, quiet beach that includedan estuary from a lake above that the kids loved to play in catching minnows and crabs! We had gorgeous weather for our entire stay and never got in the vehicle the entire stay! So relaxing!The property manager was very responsive to our needs! They promptly responded providing a bbq propane refill and a new iron for us! They also very kindly delivered a few items to UPS to send to us that we left at the house upon departure! We all agreed this was the best beach trip ever and hope to return next year! Highly recommend!

Just what we’d hoped for

Our priority was the view and access to the beach, and common area that would accomodate 12 people at one time. This house has an unobstructed expansive view of the beach and ocean - from the living room, kitchen, dining room, and 2 MBRs, and both balconies. The living room and dining table comfortably seated our party of 12 (we borrowed 2 chairs from next door) with the main floor balcony providing an extension of the LR area and the upstairs balcony (accessed by both MBRs) providing private space to read and nap. It’s on an uncrowded stretch of the beach and only one neighboring house is visible so it feels really private. We had my 83 year old Dad with us so it was nice that there was a queen bedroom & bath on the main floor (other 4 bedrooms/baths are upstairs). It looks like the unit next door is a mirror image of this one and we are already talking about renting both sides next summer so more of our family can join us! Also, the rental agency was very friendly and helpful with several questions we had during our stay.

2 stars ONLY for location

When I booked this property I noticed a review from2014 that the company had replied to as not viable. However i thought that in 3 yrs time the problems woud have been corrected! We had a very bad check in, in that the house had not been cleaned properly, the deck furniture were in a bad state, the door upstairs would not open, downstairs bedroom was very disappointing in size and has NO closet. There were beer cans and cups around back deck. All was reported and in no time cleaning crew came and cleaned the inside. The next day the doors were repaired and deck chairs replaced!! I did not report these things because my children did not tell me until we left because I was so upset with how much neededto be done to the place: There is not nearly enough water pressure upstairs sometimes barely enough to get a shower and the AC cannot handle the upstairs. It was HOT!! The location of this house is excellent but the hou needs ATTENTION!!! We did not leave the tent and the other debris around the deck, it was there when we arrived!! We were not overloaded in the house, we had 9.

Amazing location, run down house

The location of this place is amazing! It is right on the beach and has beach views from many rooms (including 2 bedrooms). The problems I had were the house. This house says it is newly renovated but the only thing that looks new is the kitchen. The outside furniture and doorknobs were covered in rust. So bad I couldn't let my 15 month old outside (which sucks when you are on the beach). The window screen was coming off on one window, the master bedroom balcony doors WOULDN"T OPEN!!! That is my number one request when picking out a beach house is having the bedroom open to a balcony!!!! The house stays SOOOO hot! I am always cold and I was hot! They have signs by the thermostat saying you can not turn it below 72. If you don't like to be hot don't stay here! The house also looked like it had not been clean, our sheets were on inside out (with blood stains on them!!!!!!!!), crumbs everywhere, blood on stair way wall. Kitchen refrigerator leaks, fridge doesn't stay cold, bathroom faucet had a constant drip, 2 showers were clogged up and wouldn't drain, bathrooms look like they are from the 70's, one of the cabinets in the bathroom was falling off. The manager will prob say I could have called maintenance to come fix it but no one wants to have to deal with that while they are on vacation and they can't come redo the whole house! I feel like if something is maintained well it is always in good order. I shouldn't have to tell other people how to do their job and coming the fix a door, clean, etc isn't going to change anything. I have stayed in many places on VRBO and this by far is the most run down place. It is a big house and great location so if you don't care about the house condition this is your place. I just feel like I got ripped off for my son's first beach trip (even though we made the best of it).

Comedy of errors

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a train wreck. Arrived at check-in to realize the down stairs a/c did not work. I call in to property managing to let them know and they said I would get a call back to let me know when someone would be there to fix, did not hear back. Called the next morning, they did send someone there to look at it. (this person was a lady that work in the office, not a repair man) when she arrived, she gave one of our guest the third degree because downstairs doors were open. I came up from the beach to speak with her and I too got the third degree about the doors being open. I tried to explain to her the reason the doors were open is to attempt to cool the down stairs down from 80 degrees to 78 degrees that it was now after opening the doors in the morning. I agrred to close the doors and let it attempt to cool back down. Needless to say, temperature went back up and I called again. This time they did send a certified HVAC person and he took one look at the condenser and said this unit has not been in operating condition for some time. He performed tests and confirmed that it was beyond repair. The managing company did contact me and gave me what they said was 50% off (which I am greatful) but my original invoice was $2400 + and they credited me back $983. I guess 50% off doesn't mean half...They managing company for the most part was nice, it was just a bit less than a vacation that I had hoped for. Also, it did not allow pets, but the place was covered with dog hair and they had to come back and re-clean. Normally wouldn't be a big deal for most, but my wife and daughter are allergic to pet hair/dander

The 2 condos share 1 staircase to the beach, but it was never an issue.We booked it Christmas eve for a last minute trip, and it was ready Christmas day, which I thought was impressive around the holidays.The house was clean, there were sample size shampoo/body wash/lotion/soap in every bedroom (there were 5) - just like in hotels. TV with cable in every bedroom also. There was a small dish soap bottle, salt/pepper, ample dishes/glasses/cooking wear/utensils. There was a sample size washing powder box on the washer/dryer. Each bathroom had 4 sets of towels.As other reviewers wrote, the mattresses are comfy. The water pressure is good in the showers, and the hot water was quick and strong.The cons:As other reviewers pointed out, there were small railings missing from the deck, where a small child could fall though. I found it disappointing that other people have pointed this out a few months ago and it still wasn't fixed.The door handles to the deck are falling off the doors. It was hard to open/close. This house needs a handyman to pay a visit soon. It shouldn't take too long, I'm puzzled as to why this wasn't done.There were no bath mats in any of the bathrooms - very slippery floors. I called the property manager to ask about them, they said they would bring some the next day but never showed. Instead, they came over to change the gas jar on the grill, and asked my husband about 4 times why we called about the gas jar if it was not needed, even though he kept saying we never called anyone about it...Overall, beautiful house, with minor repairs - needed for some time now - that can be done quickly. Spring Break with the Family

Perfect place for our group of 10 with 4 kids under 10 plus 6 adults. It is right on the Gulf. Definitely hit our favorite restaurants (Red Bar and Hurricane Oyster Bar) that were an easy walk away. Rented chairs from beach chairs 4U. Did a dolphin tour in Destin. Great time in a nice home. Comfy beds.

Beautiful place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We actually held a business meeting here over three days. The bedrooms were comfortable and the main living space worked well for the five of us. The incredible view was a plus! Management was very nice and responsive. We would stay again.
