The house was beautiful and inviting with large gathering spaces and plenty of bedrooms. The beds were comfortable and had plenty of pillows and blankets. We used the kitchen often, which was well stocked with appliances and all we needed for cooking and food storage. I especially liked the covered porches to sit outside and enjoy the view, while the kids all liked the pool, hot tub and beach access best. Gritz Carlton was the perfect home away from home for our Christmas vacation.

Wonderfully appointed kitchen, very comfortable living rooms, extremely comfortable bedrooms.The porches were great and we watched entire pods of dolphins! The property was quiet even though it was on the main road.The pool was the perfect size and there were not too many stairs to the beach. There was an alarm system at the doors to the pool for child safety.

Highly recommend

They supply pretty much anything you might need, including kitchen small appliances, beach towels, pool and beach toys. Plenty of seating. Alarms on all doors leading out to pool. I had reported a few things that weren’t working, telling them it was not a big deal and not to worry about it, but they came that day or the next morning. Couldn’t ask for better communication. Very clean….and I’m very picky!

Never Disappointed

We had another great stay at Gritz Carlton! Our family loves this home in Santa Rosa so much. The pool and private beach access is really what makes it the ultimate vacation - we rarely leave the house once we arrive! It is convenient to walk to local restaurants. Beds are comfortable as well. We have already booked for 2026!

Family New Year's vacation

The GritzCarlton is great, exactly as shown & described on the website. The location is close to grocery stores and restaurants. The pool and beach are wonderful. Becuase the house faces south, it was surprisingly comfortable on the pool deck and beach even in the low 60s. The only issue we had was with the pool heater, which stopped working a couple of times, but the manager got service on it right away and they refunded the our payment for the pool heat. The management gets an A in my book.

Family Vacation

This was our 2nd visit to this house. Great house for our family. Love that everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom. Pool and beach were a big hit. Kitchen was well equipped.

Best House on the Beach!

The house is always immaculate. Location ideal... close to amenities, yet very private. Great correspondence with owners and their local representative. Pool is wonderful. Furnishings bright and cheerful. Our family loves coming here We started coming to Dune Allen in 1977- our children had wonderful summers there and now our grandchildren are making the same happy memories on Santa Rosa Beach at the Gritz Carlton. So grateful to the owners who share this wonderful home.

Wonderful stay at the Gritz-Carlton home directly on the Gulf! Beautifully appointed and well stocked home. Very responsive management company. Incredible pool and spa. Definitely would recommend and would love to come back!

We bought the property in 1973 when there was nothing in the area (Not even Seaside). The original house was an old style brick ranch, not beachy at all. I transformed our beach home over the years to a place our family loved. It was strong and survived several hurricanes and storms. Our family grew up spending summers at the beach. When Hurricanes Dennis and Ivan undermined the dunes and compromised the foundation of the house, the structure could not be saved, and the old beach house was demolished. We were able to build our current home on the property in 2008, and we enjoy sharing our treasured beach home for you to enjoy.

Very rare property on 30A! Hard to find many homes on the Emerald Coast that have such a large Gulf Front pool. Gulf front covered balconies on every floor. Private beach access from the home puts you directly on the beach.
