Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely house overlooking the ocean with beautiful sunsets and soothing sound of the surf to put you to sleep. Kitchen and living area are well equipped with good inside and outside sitting and dining areas. Nothing fancy or luxurious but clean and comfortable with lots of bathrooms. Downsides to be aware of: Road noise from adjacent highway and beach not great for swimming.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had everything we needed and the beachfront location was the best thing of all! Having little kids, I was worried about the surf on the north shore in the winter but this location gave us safe beach access for exploring and enjoying the beach within walking distance of safe swimming locations. The home was clean and comfortable and just right for 4 adults and 4 kids. The house was also within a short drive of all the places we wanted to visit - Waimea Valley, Haleiwa, and Laie. Kawela Bay is our very favorite beach and while we couldn’t quite walk there in January, it was less than a minute’s drive away and the best place to swim, see sea turtles, and play on the beach without a ton of other people around. Would definitely recommend this home and would love to stay again!

This home is so cute and perfect for a week stay with friends. About an hour drive from Honolulu airport but located near north shore and Waimea Bay. Local walking paths, fruit stands, shrimp trucks and fun beaches nearby. Beach in front of house is rocky but a sandy beach is about a 3-5 minute drive down the road. Limited amenities for inside home (no shampoo/no laundry detergent). Plenty of towels for everyone and has AC! The master bathroom is chefs kiss Back patio is where everyone is going to want to be except being bug spray because there were mosquitos.

great place to stay able to do some whale watching. beautiful sunrises/sunsets easy to get around to all the different areas maybe a bit more lighting in the back for coming in at nite would be helpful

Trip of a lifetime!!! Mahalo!!

We LOVED our cottage! It was absolutely everything we hoped. Big house, beautiful grounds, awesome kitchen and lanai!! Every bedroom was super spacious with AC!! Slept sooo good! We saw spear fishermen, a seal that came to shore literally on the beach behind our yard, night fishermen, tide pools. We are already planning our next trip to rent out ALL four of the cottages with more friends and family. You can’t do better if you want North Shore laid back Hawai’i vibes. Thank you for an amazing trip!!

Fantastic Stay!!

The house and location was perfect for our family’s week long visit! We had 2 seniors, 2 adults and 3 kids. We enjoyed the tide pools on the beach and even got to experience high tide coming in! If you’re looking for a great place to land and spend time relaxing, look no further! Super convenient location to all the tourist stops on the north shore and grocery stores and food trucks! Would love to come again in the coming years!

Another amazing family trip!

Our large family had an absolutely fabulous time! This is our second stay in this group of homes and there is no place better on the North Shore. The views are immaculate! We saw whales and turtles from the lanai. And the neighborhood chickens and cats are pretty awesome too! We will always come back to this spot!!

The provided beach towels and boards, umbrella, floats, etc. were great. One of the beach chairs was broken, but there was another one. The shore at this location is rocky but beautiful. No swimming here but tide pools to explore and great beaches within a few minute drive. The yard was great for playing, the trees were beautiful, and the view can't be beat -- especially sunsets. Quick drive to food trucks and grocery store. Would definitely stay here again. We hated to leave.

Cool spot

This house is right on a very accessible beach with a nice grassy area in the back. Lots of places to relax and lounge and enough space for everyone! We also love there are a few houses close together if you’re going in a big group or family. It was nearby most of the food, beaches and excursions we wanted to hit so that was great!

Amazing Views

This property was absolutely perfect for my family of 8. The house was clean and well stocked. The sleeping arrangements worked out well with two kids, grandparents, parents, and auntie. The best part of the house are the stunning views. The house was close to a swimming and boogie boarding beach. We also loved the distance to the fruit and shave ice stand. The house is close to grocery stores, bakeries, and restaurants. We would rent this house again. Thank you for the amazing vacation!
