Enjoyed our experience

Great location by the river; bonus having a garage as parking in that part of town a challenge. Comfortable roomy condo with porch to enjoy evening wine. Restaurants within walking distance.

Peaceful

Nice comfortable clean place, very close to the river trail and a short walk to the Bend outdoor music venue. About 100 yds from where the river surfers are - pretty cool.

Nice Place, Near Bachelor Bus

Great place to stay during our ski week in Bend. We mostly picked it so we could take the bus to and from Bachelor as needed and also access town easily walking. The ski bus is a short walk away. We'd drive up the mountain together in the morning and if someone wanted to return home early, they could just hop on the 7 bus down the hill (about 35 minutes). We even made use of the bikes in the garage to explore Bend, which is a wonderful town. Great stay.

Amazing location! Well stocked and clean.

Great property. The home was well provisioned and very clean. An outdoor shower would be a nice addition for post river fun. I look forward to returning.

Family Friendly

The location is convenient to restaurants and activities. Great walking path very close along the river! Enjoyed the layout of the house with the spacious great room upstairs. We were there in winter and think that summer would be amazing in this location.

Concert weekend

This place worked perfectly for my buddy and me. With one room up and one down, we had plenty of space and privacy. We were in town for a concert at the amphitheater. Easy walk to the show. Overall it was perfect for our situation. We’re looking forward to finding another show and another stay at this place.

River View House

Property on the Deschutes river is fabulous and clean. Great location for hiking, biking and water activities. Was perfect for two couples. Jennifer with easy to deal with and was able to meet our needs. Would love to stay at this house again.

5 Star - location, location, location

We had an amazing week at the property. This is the ideal, most central location for river access, access to the Deschutes River trail system, the amphitheater (we saw a DMB concert), restaurants and downtown. The home was bright, comfy and well-equipped, the big garage was great for our paddleboards, floaties and car (which we barely used except to go hike in the mountains). Bikes to borrow were a bonus. Can't wait to come back!

Great place to stay!

We found this place and booked it. Shortly before our trip, we got an email providing us instructions. A few days before, we got another email on how to get in. I had a question and texted Jennifer and she responded quickly! The house was in a great location and close to alot of things. What a great place!

Bend Home

The location was perfect! The home was clean, comfortable and had every amenity possible including 4 bikes. The beds and furniture were very comfortable. The home was walking distance to the Old Mill District and close to downtown. The property manager was easy to contact and addressed all our needs. We truly enjoyed our stay!

A gem in Bend!

This rental is a total gem! The location couldn’t be more perfect. We took walks on the river every day. Centrally located to stores and restaurants. The rental was very clean, well stocked and the furniture is quite comfortable. We have stayed many places in Bend and this is the one will continue to stay at in the future. Thanks again!

Great property!

We had a great week staying at this home! It was very clean and fully stocked with everything we needed. The location is within walking distance to so many restaurants, shops and activities. We stayed here in February and even though it was cold out, we walked everywhere! The Old Mill District is right across the river and downtown is a mile away. The river is right there and has a great walking trail. We will definitely be back for another visit! The owner Jennifer is very nice and quick to respond if you have any questions

Fantastic property!

This property is in a fantastic location...just steps from the Dechutes River and a short bike ride to Old Mill! Furnished with everything you would expect and more (2 bikes for riding around Bend)! A great property for 2-6 people, you won't be disappointed! We are from MN and weren't sure what to expect of the town and the property. We won't think twice about coming back here!

Week in bend

The house was perfect for my daughter and me and our partners. Each bedroom was large and had its own bathroom and being in separate floors afforded ample privacy. The kitchen was roomy and well appointed, although we didn’t cook much. It was close to the river, which made for active foot traffic, but it died down after dusk.

Best in Bend

Dear Jennifer- We would like to thank you for sharing your lovely home with us. Our one month stay at 'Whitewater' was a pleasure! We are hikers and skiers and we found the location of the home to be perfect for our needs. It is a short walk to the center through parks and across a bridge where hiking trails along the river can also be accessed. The McKay Park and the Deschutes River can be viewed from the deck off the living room. Mt. Bachelor skiing is only 25 minutes away by car. Upon arrival we found 'Whitewater' to be perfectly clean and very well organized and equipped. The owner is a pleasure to work with and very helpful providing local information which made us feel right at home. We look forward to returning next year!

Comfortable, well equipped cozy home in a great location

My husband and I and our small dog stayed at Whitewater Bend for six weeks. We loved the location where we found our favorite coffee house and a major grocery store just a short walk or bike ride away. We also enjoyed the Mill District which is another short walk or bike ride from the house. Walking the Deschutes River trail and hiking at Newberry are all close and convenient. The house was clean and cozy. We rent vacation rentals full time and the way the kitchen is stocked should be the "gold standard" for all rentals. Also the information book which provided timely data about the house as well as the myriad things to do in the area. Jennifer is one of the nicest people you could hope to meet. We have already reserved a return to this charming rental.

Nice house in great location

This is an OK house in a great location. If you want a fancy place this isn’t it. But if you want a good location at a good price then this works. We loved the ability to walk to the Old Mill, downtown Bend and the nearby drop zone for floats and SUP. Pros: Love the location. Bedrooms are good size along with accompanying bathrooms and closets. Two car garage, we had one car and could leave our floats, SUP and kayak in second bay. Living room, kitchen, dining area are good size. Cons: Exterior needs a scrubbing - lots of leaves, cobwebs, etc. Balcony is small and needs a new paint job but facing river. Carpet on stairs is old and matted and holds a wet dog smell, I assume the owner has some large dogs or previous visitors but it’s baked into the carpet. We would stay here again as for us the positives outweigh the minor negatives.
