The cabin is nestled in a private setting yet very close to the town circle, shopping, gas, Walmart and Home Depot. Come and decompress from the stresses of life and experience the Green Therapy. Reconnect with nature- for a better living, which can benefit both your health and your well -being. Wild life roams the property. Beautiful views of the Chattahoochee National Forest without the treacherous drive! Home is situated on a gentle incline. The property is centrally located for outdoor adventures, so the adventure seeker can hike, kayak, zip-line, paddle boat, tube, cycle, fish, boat, golf or horseback ride. You may just choose to Relax on the beautiful deck overlooking an amazing mountain. Many outdoor activities are close to our home: Trackrock Petroglyphs, Vogel State Park, Helton Creek Falls, Chestatee Overlook, Desoto Falls, Brasstown Bald, Blue Ridge Merciers Orchard, Russell-Brasstown Scenic Highway, Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi State Park, Mount Yonah, Smithgall Woods State Park, Helens and Dukes Creek Falls just to name a few. Property is only 15 minutes to Neels Gap (4458 ft), a popular point of reference for hikers to jump onto the Appalachian Trail. Mountain Getaway

The cabin was great and very comfortable. The amenities and features exceeded our expectations. The proximity to necessities in town are convenient, yet the cabin has really good privacy. Definitely will stay again!

Short Mountain getaway

Great getaway after Christmas. Close to multiple walking trails, vineyards and small town shopping.Beautiful Mountain View’s.Cabin was very roomy with a great wrap around porch.

Paradise retreat

Really nice, clean and well appointed cabin/home. Close to town, close to lots of stuff in the mountains. We had a great time both at the cabin, and enjoying the surrounding areas.

Relaxing getaway

This cabin was very well maintained and in a beautiful location. We truly enjoyed the experience and got a chance to disconnect from the busy city life. The host was extremely helpful and very responsive. Loved it.

Beautiful mountain cabin

Our grown children and their dogs came with us for a great stay. We loved the views and the town. We saw deer right outside the door and had snow flurries on 2 different days. The enclosed porch was perfect for the dogs to run around. Loved the gas fireplace and the fire pit, too. The place was so roomy and open. Host was great!

Needs improvement

This property was in a great location, but it needs some work. Instead of them working on the downstairs, they have issues needing improvement. There was dust on the closet doors and I’m highly allergic to dust. The ceiling can lights some were missing. There were doors missing on the master bathroom closet and room with toilet in it. There were obviously doors there prior. The mast sink was nasty and the faucet had old toothpaste on it. The grill was nasty snd appeared not to have been cleaned in months. There was dog hair in the dishes so everything used had to be cleaned. The inside has logs needs to be replaced. My husband works for a gas company and he said if he answered a call with logs in that shape, he would have to red tag it so it couldn’t be used. Definitely not worth the money to stay here

Need some R and R

We have stayed in many cabins in Blairsville in the past. This cabin takes the cake. It is so roomy , comfortable, and COZY! IT IS A 15 ON THE SCALE OF 1-10. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK. THE VIEW ID BREATHTAKING!

Comfy, Cozy, and Clean

My spouse and two of my adult children stayed at this large cabin that had a room for everyone. The master was gorgeous, with a very comfy bed. The views were awesome during the fall time and the leaves showing off with brilliant colors. The kitchen is large and comes with all the amenities. The unfinished basement is going to be a great asset to this property. We loved the fireplace, deck and ping pong table. Would love to stay here again with all my kids for a longer stay. Two nights was not enough. Thanks for a great weekend.

Perfect Getaway

Place was perfect for our family get away for a long weekend. Centrally located to many of the places we wanted to visit in north Georgia while here. The only thing I would recommend is, if you do not like harder mattresses, you may want to bring a topper. Other than that everything was great!

Great location for getting to hiking trails

House is clean and in a great location. The neighborhood is quiet. My wife and I love to cook so the kitchen was disappointing. No real useable cookware one small non stick pan. Lighting at the stove is non existent, we used a small lamp on the counter to see what we were cooking. White microwave black stove and refrigerator, refrigerator doesn’t fit the cabinets and space. We bought pans in Blairsville to use. The grill I would throw away, burners are rusted through. The main bath is an accident waiting to happen without any handrail to enter or exit the tub. Floors get wet as the shower curtain doesn’t cover the entire tub. Also makes for a cold showering experience. We had to ask for more trash bags they supplied two. Response was for extended stays (one week) we could purchase some, but they did have a couple more dropped off. Hate to be a negative review but the simple things that can make or break a stay just weren’t there for us. Again, great location and clean, but you can definitely tell it’s just a rental being kept to the bare minimum of functionality.

Highly recommend!!

My family has used VRBO at least 40 times and this was one of our best experiences yet. The cabin was spacious, well stocked, great location and clean, clean, CLEAN! I had to contact the host Maureen a couple of times about issues on my end and she was super prompt with her response and could not have been more accommodating. Thank you!!

New Year at Change of Pace!!!

1. Great location. Close to downtown Blairsville and easy to get to Helen and Blue ridge. 5 stars here. 2. Very spacious with all amenities needed: cable, wifi, etc. 5 stars 3. Very well equipped kitchen and all large and small appliances work as expected. 5 stars 4. Master Bedroom and Bath need some improvement: mattress, pillows, comforter, John’ door. 4 stars 5. Other Rooms. Pillows. 4 stars 6. Instructions to operate thermostat, fireplace, cable, grill, etc. OUTSTANDING. 5 stars 7. Deck area and grill. Floodlight to grill at nights needs fixing. 4 stars. 8. Contact the owner for anything. Ms. Maureen is super good getting back to you. 5 stars. Overall is a very good cabin. Very comfortable and spacious. You cant be wrong if you decide to go with this unit.

Spectacular!

We were in town for a wedding at the Christmas tree farm, so we knew the bride and groom had already researched when was the optimum Fall color weekend! The view from the cabin’s master bedroom full length windows and deck was spectacular! The double-sided propane fireplace was just what this South Florida couple wanted for in-cabin times. The outside fire pit was perfect for a small purchase of firewood at the Blairsville Ingel’s (aisle 27 :-). We also found rotisserie chickens, deli made pizzas, mix snd match craft beers, etc. and used the cabin key fob for special pricing……nice touch! Hiking the park, disc golf, wine tasting just up from the cabin were all wonderful (well, you can skip the Norton variety grape one), but the others were better than we’d imagined and the bar manager was a delight. The bedrooms of the cabin are all spread apart for privacy and the place feels much larger than the listing gives the impression of. A downside is that one bedroom doesn’t have a closet (we were there with attire for a wedding), and that all mattresses, while clean, need updated. The one without the closet is very hard…some may like that, I don’t know. The master tub/shower is quite a climb up and down on glossy. wet tiles as the shower curtain covers only one of the three sides. And all three sides are stepped up. I wouldn’t want to visit at an age any older than I am now, I’ll just say, and I’m pretty spry. It’s also cold in there. The kitchen is well appointed and we found everything we needed. Even with the master bath concerns, it’s still a solid 5 star cabin and clean as can be! A real treat!!!

Weekend Getaway

Cabin was nice and location is excellent. We enjoyed several hikes and visits to Helen and Blue Ridge. Cabin is large and had plenty of room. There were games and movies to watch. I recommend bringing extra towels and washcloths.

Escape to the mountains

Property was easy to find, and they are doing some renovation work that will make this property a spectacular place for a large family or group. The kitchen is large and well equipped. The view of the mountains was very nice. Some of the linens were a bit worn, but everything was clean. Musty smell when we arrived but I suspect that has to do with the renovation work. Master bathroom could use a towel rack. All in all it was a great visit and we would recommend this as a great rental stay.

Family, Friends, and Fun

Property is in excellent location for hiking, sightseeing, rafting, and good food. We used the maps and waterfall book provided to go on short daily hikes to local waterfalls. We went rafting on the Nantahala and found good food at Cook’s in Blairsville. Home was well laid out for our family and friends to spend time together and find quite time too.. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of games, movies, and books provided to keep us entertained. View of mountains, woods, and wildlife from porch is beautiful/relaxing. Downstairs of home is currently being renovated which will make it even more appealing to families/friends in future.

Our home offers a beautiful mountain view along with a peaceful setting. It is conveniently located only 4.5 miles from the town circle and is paved right to the front door. We absolutely love the wrap-around decking (upper and lower) on this home. We are also conveniently located to all of the North Georgia Mountain adventures.
