We had a wonderful time at Bear-It-All cabin. The location was secluded but easy to find, and the porch and interior were nice and cozy. We loved being able to comfortably choose to sit inside OR outside for our meals. The kitchen was well stocked in cooking utensils, and the seating and beds were comfortable. Despite not really being early risers, saw a lot of wildlife, including big fluffy rabbits, a myriad of songbirds, and even a young black bear!
The rules of the cabin were easy to follow, and clean up was a breeze. The porch is showing some age and we were careful where we stepped on the side, but you can see where the owners are keeping up with repairs. The cabin is well loved, and I can see why!
The owners are communicative, and they're open with their contact information. If we had had an urgent issue, I have no doubt a phonecall would have been promptly answered, but texting was all we needed.
Our only minor struggle was needing batteries in the house thermostat (easily handled since that's usually a travel-staple) and then how much chlorine was in the Jacuzzi -we are a family of some weak constitution among us, so we couldn't use it at first without breathing issues for one of us and rashes on the others, but letting it run for a bit and then trying again the next day solved that issue completely. :) It was quite comfortable after a long hike in the Chatahoochie National Forest! And hey, at least we all know it's good and clean. ;) Thanks for a great stay!
