have been traveling to Kona, Hawaii every year since 1993, and it has become a very special place for me and my family. Over the years, I have fallen in love with the beauty, the people, the relaxed pace of island life, and all the experiences the Big Island has to offer.
After so many years of visiting Kona, I eventually decided to invest in a getaway home at Keauhou Palena. I do not think of it as just a vacation rental, I think of it as my home in Hawaii. It is a place I look forward to returning to, relaxing in, and enjoying just like my guests do.
As a host, my goal is to share that same feeling with others. I want guests to have a comfortable, welcoming place to stay where they can make memories, whether they are visiting for the first time or returning to the island they love.
I enjoy exploring Kona, experiencing the local restaurants and beaches, watching the sunsets, and simply enjoying everything that makes the Big Island unique. After decades of visiting, I still find new things to appreciate every time I return.

I have been traveling to Kona for nearly 30 years, and before purchasing Keauhou Palena 1102, I was a vacation rental guest just like many of the people who stay here today. I understand what makes a vacation rental feel special because I experienced it from the guest side first.
When I first discovered this neighborhood, I honestly did not even know it existed. Once I saw Keauhou Palena and experienced the peaceful surroundings, convenient location, and the feeling of being tucked away while still close to everything Kona has to offer, I knew this was the place.
I chose this neighborhood because it offers the best of both worlds: a quiet, relaxing setting with beautiful surroundings, while being close to beaches, snorkeling, shopping, restaurants, golf, and all the adventures that make the Big Island special.
When I purchased this condo, my goal was to create a place that felt different from a typical vacation rental. I wanted it to feel more like a comfortable home in Hawaii, a place where guests could settle in, relax, and enjoy their time on the island.
I also wanted to provide a great value for guests by offering a comfortable, well-equipped home at a fair price. After many years of visiting Kona myself, I know how important it is to have a place that feels welcoming, peaceful, and enjoyable to come back to after exploring the island.
Keauhou Palena 1102 is a place I personally love, and I hope our guests enjoy it as much as I have over the years.

What makes our property unique is the peaceful, private feeling you experience from the moment you arrive. While Keauhou Palena is a condo community, the way our unit is positioned within the property gives it a more residential feel and a sense of privacy that many condos do not offer.
The spacious lanai is one of our favorite features. Unlike many condo properties where outdoor spaces feel exposed, our lanai feels like a quiet retreat overlooking the golf course, making it a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee, relax after a day of exploring, or unwind during beautiful Kona evenings.
Inside, the condo has been thoughtfully updated with a remodeled kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable living spaces, AC throughout, and a layout that works well for couples, families, or friends traveling together. The second bedroom can be separated from the main living area with a retractable wall, creating a flexible space for guests.
The location is another highlight. You are close to Keauhou Shopping Center, beaches, snorkeling, SCUBA, restaurants, and some of the best experiences the Kona coast has to offer, while still being tucked away in a quiet and relaxing setting.
