POSITIVES:
For golfers, it’s a fantastic spot right off of the 15th tee with beautiful golf, ocean, sunrise, and sunset view.
Short but steep 5 minutes jungle hike down to Sealodge beach.
Adequate beach equipments like chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, towels.
Very quiet except for the morning roosters if you’re not used to the noise.
Constant trade wind cools the unit with great cross wind throughout most of the day.
The pool is just outside, and my son enjoyed it a lot with provided floaties. Wash beach sand off by the pool.
NEGATIVES:
There were many broken things closet doors, beach umbrella, lanai screen door.
Many light bulbs were burnt out. All 3 dining table light bulbs were burnt out. I had to play the maintenance guy for a minute and robbed Peter to pay Paul. (Note to owner, I didn’t steal your lamp bulbs. They’re in your dining room light fixture. You’re welcome.)
The floor was so sandy and dirty that I had to do a thorough sweeping and vacuuming upon arrival. For sure it was not cleaned between renters.
Lanai furniture could have been better as it’s the focal point of the unit.
Zero food or condiments left behind from previous renters. The owner has them all cleared out. Not even salt pepper and ketchup. I don’t know why it’s done that way. All other condos I’ve stayed at, there were always leftovers in the pantry.
The condos complex has a trash bin but no recycling service. The owner doesn’t have one either. I find that very irresponsible for a Hawaiian property.
No BBQ grill on lanai or anywhere else on property.
