If you are wanting a place to stay that is comeforatble, clean and and close to Eiffle tower with 4-5 resaraunts inbetween. The manager even picked us up from the airport and dropped us off for less than what it would have cost our family in Taxies. HIGHLY recommend this condo. ( but don't tell them that because they could get away with raising their prices ).

The appartment is attached to a fish market and the whole place smelled liked a dead FISH Tank....Horrible smell ALL DAY........

That's absolutely false. There's no fish market nearby. And why say "The whole place smelled" when it's only the building entrance, since that's where the garbage room is? The odors were coming from there, from the garbage room in the building's entrance, and the problem has since been resolved. It has nothing to do with the apartment, nothing at all! Let me clarify for readers: there was only a bad smell in the building's entrance. Nowhere else in the building, not in the hallways, not in the elevators, not in the apartment. Why be so negative and not highlight the apartment's advantages like the other tenants do? Giving it only one star shows your deliberate intention to cause harm without any real justification. The truth you're not telling: Excellent services, perfect location, all comforts, low price, very quiet, high security!

The apartment was clean, cozy and warm with comfortable beds and delightful decor. The neighborhood is centrally located with a very well stocked supermarket right next door. The host was easily accessible and very responsive.

We enjoyed Paris, not so much the apartment. The location is awesome and parking nearby affordable. If you are looking for comfort, space and a bit of refinement look elsewhere. This apartment needs renovation.

Thanks for your review. It is a small apartment of only 37m2 as specified in my advertisment and for people used of having space and lots of comfort like you, it was too small. But you saw its photos and it looks like exactly as on my photos. This mean that you choosed it mainly for its fantastic location and affordable price offer more than for its style and for a great comfort.

Beautiful city, great location

This apartment is the perfect place to explore the city! It is very close to the Eiffel tower and boat and bus tours. We were very happy with our stay. Be aware if you're booking that it really is a studio apartment and it is very tiny. If you are using both pullout couches there is barely room to walk. However, it was perfect for what we needed which was just a place to rest at the end of the day. And the apartment manager was very courteous and helpful!

Just for your information: It is originally a small apartment where we pull down some walls in the kitchen and in the living room to create a wide open space. A studio in Paris is around 12 square meters surface, my little apartment is 40 square meters with a small entrance, a real kitchen and a real bathroom, not like in studios. It is perfect for a family of 4, fine with 5, tiny with 6.

The good: the air conditioner was wonderful, the shower had hot water with good pressure, the location was great to be by the Eiffel Tower and a grocery store along with a laundromat nearby. We did not receive any communication prior to check in from the host. We landed in Paris and were unsure about how to check in. Yes, I could have reached out but we had been traveling and every other place we stayed took action to contact me. I had to involve VRBO help to get connected with the host. Once we got connected the host was responsive. Things we were disappointed with was the cleanliness of the apartment and the ants that were in the apartment. They did come put out ant traps but it was a nuisance. The host had food in the fridge upon our arrival and it smelled. He did come remove it the next day upon our request when he put out the ant bait stations. The lobby of the apartment does smell at times due to the trash being collected in that area. Nothing the host could really do about that. The rest of the building and hallway were always clean. There was a washer but we never attempted it because the drying rack provided above the shower was so small it wouldn’t work for us. We used the laundromat near by. Overall, we knew the space would be cozy with 5 and it was but we didn’t need it to be fancy or have a lot of space. I was just expecting a cleaner place to stay and check in was really frustrating at first.

Great stay

Back through Paris on our way home we actually wanted to stay in the bigger flat that this owner has where we have stayed before. Because the bigger flat was already occupied our Host proposed his smaller flat in the same building. The flat has a real bathroom and complete kitchen. The building is great and quiet and in a safe area, close to the Champ de Mars, the Eiffel Tower and les Invalides. We also love the huge local fresh food market on Boulevard de Grenelle. This smaller flat is good for a couple or max for 4 people but next time we will return to the bigger flat.

You are right, this one is smaller but as you can check in my previous evaluations, it has often been occupied by 5 and 6 guests who enjoyed their stay. Because we provide beddings for 6. But of course, I will advise to rent the bigger flat for more space and up to 8 guests.

Nice but too small for us and the AC was an unuseful fan

The location is fantastic, great base for exploring Paris. Eric and Emmanuel have always been very reactive. It’s clean and in a good shape. But we went there during a very hot wave in Paris (around 101°F). The « AC » is more like a noisy unuseful fan. We were 4 and were unable to stay there during the day or even sleep during the night. We had to go and pay for an hotel the last two days (hence paid two places ..). Also, it’s more a studio than a « one bedroom » : all the beds and the open kitchen are in the same space. For 4, with 2 active kids, it felt small.

We faced an unusual hot wave this year and so far the apartment was not ready for this extreme. Now we have put a new AC on wheels and a large new fan to avoid this kind of issue and the next guests were happy with that. You should have warned Eric (the apartment manager) and he would have acted rapidely to provide you with a new AC during your stay. The apartment is a 40 m2 with a wide open space. The beddings area is separated from the open kitchen by a wall, like on the pictures. The apartment is exactly as described and as shown on the pictures and most of our guests, with family of 4/5/6 people found it fine. We feel sorry that it was not enough for your tastes.

The location could not be beat! We were very happy with our location. The pictures were a bit deceiving. The apartment does not look like this at all. There was no couch and with the bed you could not really get to the window or use the table to eat at. The air conditioning was fantastic after our long days touring the city. Our only real complaint is that it actually looked like someone was still living in there. There was "stuff" everywhere. We had no where to put our own stuff, clothing suitcases, bags because there was literally stuff in every drawer, the closet, and shelves. There was even food left in the fridge. Emmanuel was easy to communicate with and Eric was great letting us in and picking us up and taking us back to the train station. Would definitely recommend if things were put away so renters could have space for their own things they needed.

Disappointed

Listed as "iconic location" and a clean, stylish representation in photos, I was very excited to stay here for my family's one night in Paris. The flat is located in a less than charming neighborhood about 15 minute walk from the Eiffel Tower. From the description, I was imagining walking out of the flat to see the majestic tower. This was not the case. It could be overlooked, however, if the property was as stylish and clean as it appears in the online pictures. The bedding and towels were clean but dingy and unmatching. There were dirty looking mattresses propped up behind the bed. The apartment overall is best described as dingy and is in great need of upgrading. At the very least they need to invest in new sheets, blankets, and towels. Eric, the property manager, was very nice, easy to get ahold of, and helpful. His price for pick-up or drop-off at the train station was outrageous, however, you are better off using Bolt.

Sorry to know that the place did not reached your expectations. 100% of my guests on this website and on others are talking about the "fantastic location" and the apartment is exactly as shown on my pictures. There is a picture of the Eiffel Tower on my page, taken from my street, the apartment is at a couple blocks, 5 minutes walk : 8 rue dupleix 75015 so that anyone can check on a Google map. My area is one of the nicest and safest in Paris, and my place is nearby a famous Park which is very valuable in Paris. It is a central and great neigborhood and I never wrote or said "charming" as on my page you pretend. New York City East side on Central Park is comparable to my area, and it is a very nice one, but the word charming is not correct. There are pictures of my area too on my page. Bedsheets and towels are not new but cleaned. And the 2 mattress are not for use, you did not had to sleep on them. Sometimes 7 people want to stay there and request more mattress to put on the floor. The other one are here for helping them in that case and I never charge for a 7th guest when my flat is proposed for 5. As explained on my page Eric taxi service is not under my responsability. But normally people are happy with it. I asked to Eric about your case and he said he made a fair price for you, because otherwise you would had to pay for 2 taxis instead of 1. Regular taxis are not allowed to take more than 5 people including the driver. Then you had a private driver and service, nothing to complain about. Sorry but all your remarks are unjustified and by chance I have very nice reviews for this apartment from many other guests that people can read.

Great location but not a great apartment

I booked this property because if it’s proximity to major attractions in Paris. The location did not disappoint. It was a five minute walk to the Eiffel Tower and a five minute walk to a metro station that gave quick access to all of the other major monuments.I knew when I booked the apartment that it would be small and just okay. But the apartment really under delivered for us. When you walk in the front door of the building the smell of trash is overwhelming. Apparently the buildings trash area is just off the lobby. The elevator got stuck with us in it and took a few minutes to get it to function. So we took the stairs the remainder of the stay. The room does have an air conditioner. But you have to keep the window partially open for the vent. It does a just okay job. My biggest complaint was that the sheets stank. It was a mixture of mildew and some other funky smell. It just did not feel clean. There was no vent in the bathroom. If you took a shower there the entire room turned into a sweat shop. Even with no showers, it stayed hot and muggy. The washing machine did not work properly. It was tiny and stinky. We tried to wash but the laundry pod didn’t even dissolve after two attempts at the same load. It stuck to a pair of pants. I eventually washed it out in the bathtub. All of the clothes were soaking wet. We had to wring them out by hand. The property manager was friendly and helpful but I still don’t recommend.

I'm really sorry to hear about these inconveniences. But I see you were happy with its prime location. The bad smells in the building's lobby actually come from the building's garbage room. Irs door is on the lobby. It will be ventilated soon. You took the large elevator, and it's rare, but sometimes it doesn't start. The elevator maintenance company the building has a contract with has passed, and the electrical problem is resolved. You could have taken the small elevator, which has never encountered the slightest problem. If the washing machine isn't working properly, it's because you overloaded it. Beyond 2.5 kg, it no longer works. The stool no longer turns. I'm sorry you don't like the smell of laundry detergent on the sheets. This is the first time I've encountered this problem. I should point out that everything is washed properly, otherwise you would have told the apartment manager, who would have come to change them.

Debo contactar a la persona encargada de la limpieza para averiguar qué ha sucedido. Dicho esto, podría habérmelo comunicado a su llegada en lugar de hacerlo después de marcharse; así habría pedido a la persona encargada que volviera a realizar la limpieza. En el correo electrónico de llegada se especifica claramente: "Si algo no está bien, no espere a que sea demasiado tarde para comunicarlo; intervenimos de inmediato para resolver el problema".

Best location in Paris!!

Perfect stay for my family with a full bed, a king pull out couch and a built in twin, we were able to comfortably stay. It’s in a very safe neighborhood and safe apartment. Not far from the apartment there is a street full of restaurants with a lot of locals, which I loved, it’s not super congested with tourists, very calm and relaxing atmosphere. My goal was to hang out and eat where the locals do and that by far was the best location. Right next door there is a grocery shop, on the corner there is an amazing bakery with fresh baked goods every morning called BC Dupleix Boulangerie, they were super nice people. It would be nice if you knew some French to get around of course, it really makes it easier, but you will find some people that do understand English, I know basics, therefore I didn’t struggle, but I wish I knew more to have full conversations :). Eric the driver drove us to and from the airport, we had super huge luggage since we were on our way to live in Africa, and I was happy to know that he was able to carry all my luggage. I plan on coming back again next year, and this will be my top and only pick to stay in Paris.

seriously AMAZING location literally 5 minute walk and your picnicking on the grass of the Eiffel Tower. However was a bit small for a family of 5 - more a studio apartment than a 1 bedroom. Emmanuel- the owner was great at responding to any questions we had for him.

Perfect location

This apartment is located within blocks of the Eiffel tower. We loved how convenient it was to walk to all of the tourist attractions. Eric, the property manager, was very helpful and responsive with communication. Eric provided transportation for our family from the train station to the apartment and then to the airport at the end of our stay. The only negative thing about this apartment was how small it was. We have 5 people, so both couches were pulled out into beds the entire time, leaving very little room to walk around or place your bags. My son enjoyed sleeping in the upper bunk bed, above the couch; however, he had a hard time getting up there since there is no where to place the ladder when the couch below it is pulled out into a bed. Overall, the great location makes up for the minor inconveniences as we weren't in our room except for sleeping.

About the size of the apartment: Because the 2 King size sofas are in the living room, if you leave them both open on day time you loose in total 8 square meters (m2), which is a lot in a flat in the center of Paris. I always recommend to close at least 1 so that you benefit of much enough room to feel the place more spacious. But I understand that you decided to leave the 2 big sofas open because you were using my place for sleeping only, as you said.

Location can’t be beat

Amazing location, super close to Eiffel Tower. We stayed here for one night with a family of five and it was perfect for what we needed - just a bathroom and a place to crash for the night. Our 10-year-old loved the lofted bed. Grocery store next door was really convenient as well. Would recommend!

Great Location

Great location. You can check the map and the other reviews below regarding proximity to central Paris. Nice compact kitchen and a large bathroom by European standards. The owner's friend Eric is very helpful. He met us at the apartment for check-in, and we arranged a ride with him to the airport at checkout. There is a large supermarket next door to apartment building. There are 2 lifts and a staircase. You can also easily use the stairs since this apartment is on 2nd floor. Good security with two doors requiring keys to get from street to the inner lobby. Space is adequate for only 2 people. See the other reviews below regarding the space, and the bed arrangement if you have a bigger family. We made the bed more comfortable by putting the 2 extra mattresses on top of the sofa bed mattress. TV - all channels in French, couldn't find any English. WiFi worked OK. We had no trouble with the noise rules. Only time we heard any noise was a baby crying in the next door apartment. Owner was responsive via e-mail and VRBO messaging. We would stay here again.

Clean and perfect location

This apartment was clean, had all the amenities needed to cook and even included a washing machine. The location is the main feature with a grocery store below, restaurants only a few blocks away and the Eiffel Tower a 5 minutes walk. The host was communicative and welcoming!

Paris stay at Eiffel Tower

We loved this place. The location was terrific ( between a grocery store and the Eiffel Tower). Eric is wonderful. He set up a trip to Versailles for us. He even offered to keep our luggage for us when we returned to a layover in Paris later in the month.He was easy to contact and responsive to our needs. There are plenty of cafes down the block ( a short walk also). The elevator was appreciated as well (beats carrying luggage upstairs and was non existent in some other places on our trip. All in all, I would recommend and will try to return.It was a great stay.

Location is accurate! Two streets over, and you're in the park behind the Eiffel Tower. 24-hour secure entry. Lift (no stairs). Studio with super comfortable pull-out sofa bed, smaller futon, and extra bunk. Kitchenette and dining area. Full bath with washing machine. Short walk to Metro & buses.

I have chosen to live here because of its very central location. That way I do not need to drive a car in Paris and I can easily walk to all my favourite places. Indeed I wanted to live in a nice, quiet and secure district, as close as possible from the Eiffel Tower. Because I love watching the Eiffel Tower when I cross the Park Champs-de-mars nearby, especially at night because the way the tower is light makes a magnificent show every night! I love Paris and staying close to the Eiffel Tower makes me feel that I am at the right place. Indeed I like to live near a park because I love nature, space and running in a park.
