Arcachon perfect stay

Amazing hospitality and stay!We were welcomed by our hosts who shared a lot of cultural information about Arcachon and the bay. Their apartment is spacious, luminous, tastefully furnished. The added wrap around balcony with views of beach and bay was a dream. Everything was generously provided to make our stay wonderful. It is the best location for walking, enjoying town, markets and beach with direct access to ferries around the bay. We would love to return to this special place and are grateful for their hospitality.

Très bon séjour !

Magnifique appartement, grand avec 2 salles de bains, grande terrasse. La vue sur le bassin est incroyable.L'appartement est très bien situé, en plein coeur d'Arcachon avec la plage et les commerces au pied de l'immeuble.Une place de parking disponible ce qui facilite beaucoup les choses.Arrivée et départ très facile avec les propriétaires.Uniquement, à noter, cuisine et salle de bains un peu vieillissantes.

Accueil parfait par nos hôtes. Appartement très bien équipé et confortable. Décoration chaleureuse. Garage en sous-sol. Très grand balcon en 1er rideau et dernier étage sur le bassin et la plage. Cuisine avec tous les équipements et ustensiles.Nous avons passé un séjour agréable et reposant de fin d'année. Merci à nos hôtes.

Appartement très appréciable pour plusieurs raisons

Très bel appartement, très agréable à vivre, avec une vue magnifique sur le bassin. Emplacement idéal, il est situé à proximité de tous les commerces et du marché La climatisation est très appréciable durant les grosses chaleurs et la plage est juste à côté. Très bon accueil de Francine et Jack qui ont eu la gentillesse de venir nous chercher à la gare. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour et nous recommandons vivement cet appartement.

decouverte d'Arcachon et des environs

vacances reposantes avec la chance d'avoir une superbe vue sur la mer. Nous avons appréciés le grand tour en mer de la baie d' Arcachon. Les commerces à proximité étaient vraiment un plus. Les restos et cabanons évidemment.

Die Wohnung ist mit viel Geschmack und Gefühl für Details eingerichtet. Die technische Ausstattung ist sehr gut. Die Lage ist topp. Außerdem vielen Dank an Frau und Herrn Carrère. Sie sind wirklich wunderbare Gastgeber, sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir konnten also einen rundum tollen Urlaub genießen. W. + H. Kossatz

A beautiful apartment but …

Apartment was spacious, well appointed with comfortable beds and good showers. The beautiful terrace and fantastic views over the beach and the sea, were the highlights of the property. It was a shame that there was only one toilet for the 2 bathrooms, but we knew that. The apartment was clean on arrival, EXCEPT for the kitchen: inside of the fridge, cutlery drawer, inside shelves in cupboards. My husband had to clean the fridge, and when I cleaned some shelves to put our food supply, I found items (biscuits, pasta etc..) with an expiry date of 2020-21and 22!-which you don’t expect when you pay a premium for the week. When I mentioned this issue to the owners later on that 1st day, they looked shocked, said that they could not check everything between two rentals, that they had the grandchildren around and had not had time. Jack eventually apologised, said they would take it on board for the future and that he would make a goodwill gesture at the end of the week regarding the rent. The fact that Francine did not offer to put things right was more upsetting than the state of the kitchen. On check out day, Francine did not say goodbye to us, whilst Jack was friendly and wished us well. However, when I messaged him on our return, reminding him of his words about the goodwill gesture, he chose to totally ignore me, despite messaging 3 times, explaining that I would much rather settle the matter with him that leave a poor review. Very disappointing

Spectaculaire!

It was heavenly. We did a week long language school class and the location was perfect, the view incredible, close to everything and we would definitely come back. The owners were lovely, very helpful and they helped make our stay a wonderful experience. Plenty of room for the four of us, excellent flat. Highly recommend!
