The condo accommodation was as pictured and described on the website. The features (rooms, appliances, furnishings, supplies, etc.) were of high quality and quantity. We were very pleased with those aspects.
Our late check-in was somewhat stressful because the courtesy phone connection had much static; thus, understanding was difficult.
One main problem occurred. The fireplace flue was open upon our arrival; we did not check its status. (Jackson Hole Lodging info stated that `upon departure, assure fireplace flue is closed'. One would assume that had been done by previous users and checked by housekeeping/cleaning staff.) We were not going to use the fireplace -- it was 80 degrees. However, a neighbor did use their fireplace 3 nights, and as a result, smoke entered our condo each of those 3 nights. The first night, the smoke was a minor annoyance; the 2nd and 3rd nights, it was bothersome, especially affecting sleep. We reported this to Jackson Hole Lodging management. They researched the issue, resolved the flue situation and were cordial in discussions.
Suggestions: a) Turn the hot water temperature to a lower setting. b) Provide lighting over the dining table, and perhaps replace the dining table with a smooth, cleanable/wipeable surface.
We intended to hike in GTNP each day, accessing the park via the Wilson/Moose highway. Because of bear activity in the area, that highway was closed during our entire stay; we had to travel through Jackson to go to the park. This was an inconvenience, but a necessary one.
