Danielle, our host, was most communicative and helpful before and during our month’s stay, though not intrusive at all. When we arrived, she showed us around the locality, so that we knew where everything was. The apartment was very clean, with all we needed and we found it always warm and cosy - especially necessary, as we were there in very wintry weather! The location of the property is ideal, with local amenities: supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, boulangeries, butcher, pharmacies, organic shops, a great food market three times a week, practically next door! The proximity to the centre of Paris was one of the great advantages of the apartment, with Nogent-sur-Marne RER station only five minutes’ walk away. We managed to travel in most days and visited many sights, some we’d never heard of! We enjoyed visits to Vincennes, a local town with a château and only two stops up the line (although walkable in 30 minutes). The Bois de Vincennes was enchanting and there is a little lakeside café (which offers a warming hot chocolate and crêpes, amongst other things) on a cool day! A superb holiday for us!

We were greeted by Danielle with a smike after an exhausting journey.she was very kind and gave us a quick wLking tour of the town so we coujd get our bearings which was very useful, the apartment was well presented. I can not say enough great things about our stay here. The owner was amazingly nice and met us there to show us the apartment and how everything works. She had a map of the area to show us the locations of the grocery stores, bakeries, and RER. Staying here made us feel like locals as it is a very family friendly neighborhood away from all the hustle of bustle of the touristy areas. Every morning and afternoon there were kids walking to and from school. It has really easy access to grocery stores and bakeries for food everyday. The RER is just a quick 5 minute walk away. While small, there was more than enough room for our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens, and a pre-teen). Loved that there was a washer/dryer for us to do laundry. Loved opening the windows in the evenings and letting the cool air in while listening to the sounds of the neighborhood after a long day of sightseeing. I could not recommend this place enough!

Nice Apartment close to Paris

We had a very nice stay at this 2 bedroom apartment in Nogent-sur-Marne. It close to a nice park and walking distance to a the RER train station which you can take into Paris city. There are also shops and restaurants close by. The owners are very nice and accommodating.

Enjoyable Paris visit

A very nice,comfortable property with plenty of space for four of us. The apartment was a short walk to a train station for trips to central Paris and there were plenty of local shops and restaurants too. Our hosts were excellent and helpful. The car park and apartment are very secure

Super appartment

Super appartment, very well equipped, plenty of room for the three of us. Excellent location in a really nice area near the river and bois de vincennes, so great local walks and an easy journey into central Paris . Great market down the road and some lovely restaurants round the corner. Everything so convenient. Would certainly come back.

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Paris. The apartment is in a very safe neighborhood and has everything you need. Shops in the area are friendly. The RER is close by making connections with the subway east. The owners are very kind and helpful.

An excellent base for a trip to Paris

Our first time using VRBO but a very positive one! Danielle's apartment is super clean, comfortable and fully equipped with everything we needed. It's in a great location very close to the RER station, which makes it very convenient for trips into the centre of Paris. Nogent-sur-Marne is also a very nice neighbourhood - Danielle and her husband were kind enough to take us for a short walk around the immediate vicinity of the apartment, pointing out the bakery, supermarket and other local amenities all within a short distance. Thank you Danielle for a lovely stay in your apartment, we hope to come back one day!

Comfortable home base for Paris visit

We stayed for the month of May. The apartment is quite a lot larger than it looks in the photos. It had everything we needed for a comfortable, long-term stay. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. It was a great experience to live like locals on the days we weren’t sightseeing. The local shops (boulangeries, florist) had wonderful products and helpful staff (with limited English). Huge fresh market three days a week. Some wonderful restaurants too. The property owner scheduled a time to clean the unit half-way through our visit, which was great! If I were to do this again I’d probably stay in Vincennes because the town is a little nicer and more active, but it’s probably more expensive too.

Family trip

Our family of five from Australia (which included three siblings aged 20,18 and 16) enjoyed a wonderful stay in Danielle’s apartment. Danielle is a wonderful host who is so accommodating. I got my dates mixed up which meant we had to change our original time to meet and Danielle was so kind and was able to meet us at a new time. The apartment was meticulously clean and had everything you could ever need to look after a family for meals if you want to cook at home. There are shops within walking distance to grab all your necessary supplies and the train station is also just a few minutes walk. There are lovely restaurants and bakeries as well as a pharmacy all within close proximity. The gated complex makes for a very safe stay. The RER train line gets you straight into the city and is very easy to use. We purchased the Navigo pass which starts each Monday and runs through to Sunday for $30 euro which is the most cost effective way to purchase train passes especially if you arrive in Paris at the beginning of the week. We absolutely loved our stay in Danielle’s apartment and I would highly recommend to stay here. Thank you Danielle for being a wonderful host.

Olympics Home Base

We booked this property as early as we could once we found out we'd be attending Olympics events. Danielle was great at communication while we booked - and I was relieved to find something in a quiet area away from the Olympics craziness, but still close enough to take the RER A to all of our venues easily. My kids (7, 10, 12) were thrilled to each have their own place to sleep (2 twins and a pull out couch). My oldest, especially, was happy that there was a door to the room with the pullout couch so at night, it became a separate bedroom. During the day, we used the room for dining/TV. The kids also loved the courtyard, neighborhood cats, and hearing a neighbor play the piano. My husband and I appreciated the location of the property most of all. He walked to the main town of Nogent sur Marne several times to pick up food (Thai food, burgers), and we developed a (bad) habit of visiting the bakery every day (at least once) because their morning choquettes were just too good to pass up. The staff got to know the kids and would sometimes slip in an extra :) The proximity to Picard, Carrefour, and Franprix is excellent, as well as the Geek Store for board games (you can pay to play there as well). Walk to market, playground, giant park... so easy! All in all, Danielle's house is the coziest home base for travels in and around Paris. She is a great communicator, showed us around the neighborhood when we checked in, and let us be to enjoy our vacation! Book it!

Wir waren absolut begeistert von der Lage, der Ausstattung und besonders vom herzlichen Empfang durch unsere Vermieterin Danielle! Sie hat uns nicht nur persönlich die Wohnung gezeigt, sie hat mit uns auch einen kleinen Rundgang durch die Nachbarschaft mit Tipps und Hinweisen zum Einkaufen, zum Nahverkehr und zum Essen gemacht. Die Wohnung fällt vor allen durch ihre Sauberkeit auf. Sie ist perfekt für einen Urlaub in Paris. Durch den nahegelegenen Bahnhof ist man in 20 min mit der RER A mitten in Paris. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und es ist alles vor Ort fussläufig problemlos erreichbar.Vielen Dank!

Très agréable logement aux portes de Paris

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour en famille dans ce logement. Idéal pour une famille de 4. Le logement est un peu en retrait de la rue, ce qui le rend calme la nuit. L'emplacement est à 3 min du RER, ce qui donne accès à plusieurs sites touristiques sans changer de ligne pour 2.5 euro/trajet. Il y a des commerces de proximité pour les petites courses. Le logement correspond bien aux photos. L'hôte nous a donné de bonnes explications en début de séjour.

Wir (2 Erwachsene und 2 Teenager) haben eine Woche in dieser ruhigen und gut ausgestatteten Ferienwohnung in Nogent-sur-Marne verbracht. Die Lage ist ideal: In wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man die RER A, mit der man in ca. 20 Minuten mitten in Paris ist. Auch Bäcker, Supermärkte und eine kleine Markthalle sind fußläufig erreichbar.Die Wohnung liegt in einer gepflegten Wohnanlage mit eigenem Stellplatz – ein echtes Plus in Stadtnähe. Besonders angenehm war das separate Schlafzimmer für die Kinder sowie die gute Ausstattung der Küche mit Spülmaschine. Auch Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion war vorhanden – gerade mit Kindern sehr praktisch. Das Bad ist recht klein, aber funktional, das WC separat.Ein Highlight war die herzliche Betreuung durch Frau Speisser. Sie spricht fließend Deutsch, hat uns freundlich empfangen, alles erklärt – das war sehr hilfreich und aufmerksam. Auch der Kontakt im Vorfeld war unkompliziert.Insgesamt war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen – eine klare Empfehlung für Familien, die Paris entspannt entdecken möchten!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt

Unser Aufenthalt (5Tage) in der Ferienwohnung war sehr angenehm. Mit zwei Kindern im Teeniealter ist ein extra Schlafzimmer Gold wert. Einrichtung Top, mit Spülmaschine und Waschmaschine mit Trocknerfunktion,ebenso die Lage der Wohnung. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war sehr angenehm und problemlos. Sie nahm sich sogar die Zeit uns die Umgebung zu zeigen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Wohnung

Excellent séjour !

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.L'appartement est conforme à l'annonce.Le petit plus est d'avoir une place de parking dans une résidence fermée et calme.La ligne du RER est à 3 minutes à pied tout comme la boulangerie, la boucherie, le petit supermarché...L'appartement est très bien équipé au niveau de la cuisine.La salle de bain est un peu petite mais les toilettes sont séparés.Il y a un grand placard dans la chambre parentale ce qui est appréciable ainsi qu'une grande commode dans la chambre des enfants.La literie est un peu dure mais cela reste à l'appréciation de chacun.

Von Nogent sur Marne nach Paris

Die Ferienwohnung befand sich in Nogent sur Marne(Zone 3), von da ist es ein Katzensprung, mit RER und Metro, nach Paris. Wir waren 4 Personen, dafür war die Wohnung ausreichend groß und hatte alles was man so braucht. RER Station war ca. 300m entfernt, genauso Bäckerei und Carrefour(Lebensmittel). Es ist keine Luxuswohnung, für uns aber ok und sauber, zu der Wohnung gehört auch ein PKW-Stellplatz. Die Vermieterin spricht fließend Deutsch und war sehr nett. Check-In und Check-Out verliefen reibungslos. Es war eine schöne Zeit.

Toller Paris-Aufenthalt in schöner Ferienwohnung

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Paris. Frau Speisser hat uns sehr nett empfangen, die Ferienwohnung gezeigt und uns anschließend in der Umgebung herumgeführt. Also wussten wir sofort, wo alles ist: Einkaufsmöglichkeit, Bäcker, Bahnhof RER, usw. Der Kontakt mit Frau Speisser war auch im Vorfeld der Reise sehr gut und wir würden die Ferienwohnung jederzeit wieder buchen. Mit der RER ist man schnell im Zentrum und auch der im Innenhof liegende Parkplatz war sehr gut. Insgesamt also eine sehr schöne Urlaubswoche in Paris!

Optimale Lage und schöne Umgebung

Die Wohnung besticht durch ihre tolle Lage und Ausstattung. Die Zugverbindung ist super, Bäckerei und Lebensmittelgeschäfte sind fußläufig in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. Frau Speisser hat uns nett empfangen und uns gleich noch die Umgebung gezeigt. Vielen Dank hierfür; wir kommen gerne wieder.

Paris im Herbst

Sehr schöne, große und ruhige Wohnung in Zone 3, ca 20 min. bis ins Zentrum mit der RER A. Sehr gut ausgestattet. Nette, deutschsprachige Vermieterin. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten fussläufig erreichbar. Insgesamt super Wohnung für Stadtbesichtigung.
