Amazing Stay in Tuscany

We spent 4 nights at this property and it was wonderful. The property was ideally located to so many things including, Florence, Pisa, Sienna and the wineries. The hosts are so kind and helped us find markets, restaurants and stores. They welcomed us with such kindness and responded promptly to any questions or needs we had. The house itself fit 3 generations (4 adults, 2 tweens) comfortably. Everyone had the space they needed and we had plenty of space to cook and play games together. I would definitely recommend this for a place to stay to enjoy Tuscany.

Beautiful countryside home.

This was a comfortable home located in the Tuscan countryside. There were surrounding olive and grape trees and winding narrow roads typical of the area. The Home was spacious and quaint. It had full amenities.

Wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic time in the hills of Chianti. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming! The house is exactly as pictured, but what is not pictured is how lovely it was to sit in front of a lit fire in the evenings with a glass of wine. The surrounding countryside is lovely, and the house is within easy driving distance from everywhere we wanted to see. The grocery store is an easy 8 minute drive, and the house is well stocked. Ottimo!

The pictures are accurate but do not portray how great this place is. We stayed 5 weeks and hosted 3 groups of friends and family who wanted to experience Italy for the first time. The home is perfect for hosting because the floorplan allows for privacy. The closest towns provide everything needed for daily life. Florence, Siena, and San Gimignano are less than an hour away. The owners became like family. They are kind, hospitable, helpful. This experience exceeded our imagination and our expectations.

Gem in the heart of Chianti region

Charming 3-story castle in the heart of Chianti hills. Warm hospitality, house red wine, house olive oil and hand-delivered tuscan bread every morning just to add finishing touch to this gem of tuscan vacations. The house is built with love and has everything a tourist may need. The owners respond quickly to every request and go out of their way to make their guests happy. Our kids loved the house and the garden, and watching little chicks, and fresh eggs, and tractors, and toys, and waiting for bread truck in the morning. The hostesses speak very little English, which was never an issue, as their charming niece speaks excellent British English. Very close to many beautiful wineries, castellos, and Florence is easily reached by car or bus. Easily navigated by car, although climbing chianti hills is an adventure for big cars with manual transmission. But this comes with the region - tuscan roads and hills are suited well for olive trees and grape vines, not cars. Still better than driving in Rome. Grazia and sorry about the dresser key - hope you found it.

Bien placé pour visiter la Toscane. (attention GPS obligatoire). Maison bien équipée, bien meublée, mais maison sur 1étage et demi : rc : chambre + sdb - 1/2 étage : salon et cuisine - 1 étage : 2 chambres et sdb. Peut être fatigante pour certaines personnes.

Treated like family!

Upon arrival we were greeted as though we were family! The apartment is as described in the listing. We were very comfortable. The grounds and the view were spectacular. We would definitely stay here again.

Wir waren begeistert

Nach einem sehr freundlichen Empfang mit Kaffee, Dessertwein und Gebäck wurde uns die Ferienwohnung sauber übergeben. Alle Räume und Geräte wurden uns sehr ausführlich gezeigt und wo nötig auch die Nutzung erklärt. Die Wohnung ist sehr geschmackvoll und zweckmäßig eingerichtet und bietet genügend Raum auch für 6 Personen. Speisen konnten wir sowohl auf dem Balkon bzw. am urig gestalteten Freisitz bzw. bei schlechterem Wetter im Haus zu uns nehmen. Die Verständigung klappte "mit Händen und Füssen" auch recht gut. Für weitergehende Erklärungen stand uns die Nichte der Besitzerin mit ihrem sehr guten Englisch zur Verfügung. Auch den zur Selbstversorgung gekelterten Rotwein durften wir reichlich versuchen. Er schmeckte vorzüglich. Das hergestellte extra vergine Olivenöl muss man unbedingt probieren. Es empfiehlt sich auch für daheim einige Flaschen zu durchaus moderaten Preisen mitzunehmen. Für uns vier war es ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnung. Sie liegt auch sehr zentral um die wichtigsten Städte der Toskana zu erkunden.

Lovely Tuscan Vacation

I was in love with the area before we even arrived, thanks to taking the scenic if bumpy shortcut from the motorway (thank you GPS). The hills, vineyards, olive groves and a feeling of remoteness from "civilisation" yet within a few miles from the store, restaurants and very conveniently located in proximity to various Tuscan sights, from Siena to Florence and San Gimingiano to Greve in Chianti with its wine festival. The property itself is very cosy but well appointed. It was five of us - my parents, my husband and I and my sister, and the space was perfect. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony. Pro tip - do try the wine and olive oil generously provided by the hosts at the beginning of your stay - you will want to buy some for home - some of the best red i tried and definitely some of the cheapest too! I bought the oil as gifts and my friends loved it. We appreciated the warm hospitality upon our arrival and departure.

Belle maison et agréable séjour

Nous étions une semaine dans la maison avec trois couples dans les trois chambres. Il faisait assez chaud, la nuit dans les deux chambres sous le toit même trop chaud. Nous étions préparés à ca, donc pas de surprise, mais à noter pour d'autres locataires. Autrement la maison a tout ce qu'il faux et les propriétaires sont très aimable et toujours prêt à aider.

Wunderbare familiäre Atmosphäre

Unseren Aufenthalt dort haben wir von der ersten bis zur letzten Minute genossen. Alles, was man für einen entspannten Urlaub benötigt, ist im Haus vorhanden. Sogar ein gemütlicher, gut ziehender Kamin. Dazu die Herzlichkeit der Schwestern...alles perfekt. Wir werden gern wieder kommen.

Tolles Haus in wunderschöner Umgebung!

Dieses Haus ist toll geschnitten für Gruppen von 4-6 Personen. Es hat ausreichend Platz und ist sehr schön. Die Lage ist ganz hervorragend mitten in der Toskana, ein Auto/Mietwagen hilft sehr dabei, die Region zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern ist problemlos und alle sind sehr bemüht.

A very warm Welcome to the Tuscan Countryside!

The warmest, friendliest, Hosts we have ever encountered! I wish I could stay and be their neighbor. Everything you need to know about the house and area is written down, in English, in a ‘house handbook’. They shared their estate wine, olive oil, and eggs with us. Everything was delicious! Spacious living for our 4 adult party. Plenty of outside yard space. Loved the balcony seating, fireplace ( free wood!) and the chance to stroll around outdoors through fields and olive groves. Central location, a country drive to the most popular walled cities, Certaldo, San Gimignano, Montespertoli, Panzano, Siena...

Maison confortable, idéalement située pour visiter la Toscane et ses merveilles.

Cette location offre tout le confort pour passer un magnifique séjour dans le Chianti et pouvoir visiter la Toscane non loin des villes magiques que sont Florence et Sienne. A lovely house in a great location

We spent two weeks as two couples in the house and had a very restful stay. We were made to feel very welcome by the hosts. There is a lovely little garden and a great balcony for enjoying breakfasts and dinners in the sunshine. We spent a few days just chilling out reading in the garden. It's a quiet place in a fantastic location for sightseeing but it is a working village - the rooms backing onto the courtyard can be a bit noisy first thing in the morning! I'd highly recommend it. It might be a little crowded with six people but four was perfect.
