Antonella was a very sweet host and her home is absolutely beautiful, the views are amazing. An easy drive into Florence but definitely a countryside estate. If you want out of the hustle of Florence, I would highly recommend this place.

Great location, amazing views of the vineyards in the valley. A must seeIsolated and great venue, our own private Villa with 2 bed rooms and bathrooms, large font gallery and back garden sitting area, not to mention beautiful inground pool and sitting area The host Antonella was a wonderful person, always there to help

The views of the Chianti countryside from the pool area are amazing!!The property has two building - one by the pool that owner lives in and second that has 2 villas.The decor of the villa had rustic charm but with modern appliances and utilities.The drive up to the villa has a single lane road but with two way traffic. The last part of the drive is over a gravel road - not a problem for us in a SUV.The owner was very friendly and responsive.This is definitely a place that we would return to!!

We had an absolutely amazing stay at this property ... everything was just as pictured and more! We felt at home right away and enjoyed evenings in the pool area and a rainy chill day on the front patio. Antonella is a warm, genuine and kind host and her home definitely reflects that. So many little touches that make you feel like you are in your own Tuscan romantic movie. Highly recommend this property for your stay in this area! A couple notes to enhance your stay:1. The grocery stores are not very close so shop first.2. Make SURE you follow her exact directions to the property. We did not and ended up on a challenging road.

This is one of the prettiest places on Earth. Antonella was a wonderful host. We would caution anyone coming to the area that uber and taxis are not a viable option. The home was spectacular. We will be back!!!

We really enjoyed the serenity and overwhelming Tuscan charm that the farmhouse offered. We had a cooking class at Vicolabate one day. I can’t recommend that enough. The proximity of the house to other villages (Siena, San Gimignano, Montefioralle, Firenze…and SO much more!!)Antonella was always able to help us and was very responsive. She was also so incredibly kind. If you’ve ever dreamed of a Tuscan getaway or even movies about that, this will not disappoint. It’s breathtakingly gorgeous!!! Book it!!!!

A Tuscan Dream…Like a Postcard or a Movie

We were honored to be hosted by Antonella and her husband in this idyllic Tuscan villa. The villa itself is stunning. Perfectly decorated to reflect the area and atmosphere of the land. All of the furnishings were modern and in perfect working order but with a tastefully rustic and Tuscan feel. Antonella’s property was stunning. The pool and the view from it were breathtaking. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility of the Tuscan hills while being so close to so many wonderful wineries, towns, and of course Florence. Check in and check out were effortless and Antonella was a perfect host. Photos could not show the beauty. This place is perfection. My wife and two adult children were so happy here. They have two units available for rent so we were able to meet a lovely family on holiday from the UK. If you want to experience the true Tuscany, this is the place for you. Amazing.

Heaven!

Antonella was so sweet and the house was perfect. The views and the pool were incredible. Everything was perfect. Especially the air conditioning. I will miss this piece of heaven and I hope to return again soon.

Spectacular

The accommodations were not only exactly as listed, but probably better. The place was gorgeous, very well kept and we enjoyed every minute of our time. We visited several wineries and restaurants nearby and they were all amazing. The accommodation itself was quiet and gorgeous! The only thing we had a small issue with was the very narrow road that led to the house. As Americans, it was a tad harrowing but with practice we became more comfortable . The hosts were kind & readily available. We would absolutely love to stay here again!

A Jewel in Tuscany

We had a wonder few days staying at this devine property nestled in the hills of Tuscany.Our host Antonella was very welcoming and made our stay so easy.The villa was beautiful and catered to all our needs and the swimming pool was perfect for relaxing around in the afternoon sun.Situated in an idyllic country setting close to Florence & Pisa plus smaller Tuscan villages it is the perfect place to stay while in this region.I would highly recommend staying here and if we return to Tuscany we will be enjoying Antonellas hospitality again

Belle escapade en Toscane

Très antique, mais d'une propreté irréprochable!La cuisine était bien équipée. Les lits étaient très confortables. La pression dans la douche parfaite. Le seul bémol était le manque de confort au salon. L'accès à la maison n'était pas simple, vous devez emprunter une route très étroite, très en pente et non asphaltée. La piscine était accessible, mais la température n'a pas permis de l'utiliser, dommage pcq l'environnement de la cours est sublime!

Fantastic property in a beautiful location

Location, accommodation, and host were 5 star. When we arrived, Antonella had pasta, sauce and fresh homebaked bread for us. The view from the property was amazing, the beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was very clean. One thing that is probably a "lost in translation" is a reference to a hot tub/jacuzzi. We did not see one, but it did have a tub in one of the bathrooms (which we used). Overall, a dream escape in Tuscany!

Perfect stay in Tuscany

Had the best time staying at Antonella’s farmhouse for 5 nights. It is even better than the already great description and photos. The property is in a beautiful location, quiet and so satisfying. Antonella is so kind and caring. We will be back.

Wonderful and Peaceful

We had four nights here in the green apartment. It was too cold to swim but we still enjoyed the view of the hills. We were surrounded by olive orchards. It was so quiet. The apartment was just as described. Both bedrooms were upstairs. The bathroom with the shower was downstairs. We used a private chef that was recommended by the host and he was awesome. We highly recommend using him one night.

A spectacular place in Tuscany!

This is a beautiful location with nice accommodations and spectacular 360 degree views of the Tuscan countryside. Our family of four loved our stay in this charmingly decorated, fully equipped property and we would definitely stay here again. The host was kind and communication was easy. We only wish the weather had cooperated so we could have also enjoyed the pool.

Traumurlaub

Es war der absolute Traumurlaub. Es wurde mit so viel Liebe zum Detail dieses Traumferienhaus erschaffen. Die Klimaanlagen sind im ganzen Haus verteilt und schaffen Abkühlung. Die Schlafzimmer sind geräumig und die Betten sind sehr bequem. Die Vermieter wohnen auf dem Grundstück was man überhaupt nicht merkt. Der Pool ist das Highlight! So durchdacht und liebevoll angelegt, wir waren sprachlos. Von hier aus haben wir mit kurzen Entfernungen Florenz, Volterra, Siena und Greve besucht. Jeden Tag nach den Ausflügen haben wir die Ruhe und das Panorama genossen. Das Wlan war spitze. Auf Nachfrage hat Guesseppe uns das Fiorentina Steak zusammen mit der Salsiccia und 2 Flaschen Wein verköstigt. Am Sonntag gab es frisch gebackenes Brot. Das selbst hergestellte Olivenöl schmeckt uns sehr gut und wir sind froh, dass wir welches gekauft haben. Liebe Antonella, lieber Guesseppe, vielen Dank für diesen Traumurlaub. Wir kommen wieder. Tuscan Retreat

Antonella is a fabulous host and the property is ideally located overlooking the olve trees and vineyards. Great base to explore Tuscany, in particular Florence, Siena, San Gimignano. So nice to get back from the crowds to this bucolic retreat. There are plenty of restaurants and wineries nearby. Absolutely worth the effort to get away from it all. We will be back.

Paradise on Earth

The pictures are amazing but don’t capture the full beauty of this place! The views from the pool area are breathtaking. We arrived right before sunset and cooked a meal in our apartment and ate our dinner at the dining table by the pool. The apartment itself was also more beautiful than the pictures are able to capture. The decor is perfect and the beds themselves so comfortable. We are a family of 5 and one kiddo slept on the fold out couch downstairs and was also very comfortable. We want to return and spend an entire week here with friends. A car is a must but so easy to get many beautiful wineries in Tuscany, 30 minutes to Florence and 45 to San Gimignano.

Beautiful apartment

Antonella was the perfect hostess. She offered excellent advice on restaurants and wine tasting, as well as grocery store on our way to her property. The two bedroom apartment we stayed at was exquisitely decorated and clean. Beds were firm and comfortable. Every direction you look outside was picturesque. Based on a previous review I asked Antonella for recommendation for an in home chef. Chef Tommaso cooked for us on our first night there. Excellent food and service and such a treat after long day traveling. Food was soo good we actually had him cook for us another night. We were lucky to have fresh bread during our stay baked by Antonella’s husband. Delicious! One advice for travelers is when exiting gates from property always turn right, road is better than going straight. Don’t worry GPS will recalculate. We feel so blessed to have found this beautiful place to stay. The best compliment from us is that we will definitely recommend this apartment to our friends and family and hope to return someday!

Perfect Place

This was everything described. Antonella and her husband were kind and accommodating. The villa was spotless and the views where exactly what I had always pictured having in Tuscany. We will be back!
