Charming ocean view apartment

The ocean waves are a stones throw away. You can sit and enjoy the view and sound of the waves along the rocks from the couch and double balconies. Communication with Pier was amazing. The pictures do not do the apartment justice. You even have a balcony that looks out on the bell towers of the Duomo and La Rocca! Gorgeous area, amazing people and scrumptious food to be had even iin the middle of winter.

Great place in heart of Cefalù

Great place to stay in heart of Cefalù. We had no desire to cook - but I’m not sure if I think kitchen equipment was adequate. I say this only because there were not 2 matching wine glasses. 1 big, 1small, 1 round, one tulip. Think in Italy every kitchen should have wine glasses! That was our only complaint. So minor. Washer and location made up for it.

A gem in Cefalu

We stayed 3 nights at Cefalu. So happy with the apartment. Close to everywhere. The owners suggested us 3 restaurants. We tried two of them. Great people. We highly reccomend this place. The sea view is priceless. We were picked up at the free car parking lot and brought back. Great service.

Mittendrin im Leben

Ein nettes kleines Appartment - gut für zwei Personen - etwas unterhalb des Domplatzes und ziemlich zentral gelegen. Das beliebte kleine Cefalu ist natürlich von hier aus gut zu erlaufen und sowohl zu den Klippen als auch zum Strand sind es nur wenige Minuten Laufweg. Küche und Bad sind ausreichend und das Bett für italienische Verhältnisse gut - leider ist der Meerblick etwas eingeschränkt und die Straße zur anderen Seite abends/nachts ziemlich laut (das wären aber die einzigen Minuspunkte). Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit !!

In center of Cefalù

This apartment is in the middle of the town, so lots of shops and street action and friendly neighbors. We enjoyed that aspect -- and the view of the sea.The owner Pier helped us a lot with the various rules and regulations dealing with parking -- he even drove us around with his family to help us figure it out. The interior decoration is a little sparse -- he could add another lamp. But very clean and functional.

Appartement très soigné, propre et agréable avec une belle terrasse et de magnifiques vues. Le propriétaire vient vous chercher à la gare, et vous renseigne sur la ville et la Région. Ses conseils sont très utiles et complets. Le propriétaire est très dynamique et sympathique et se tient à constamment à votre disposition. Séjour agréable, reposant: Réussi. Si nous devions vraiment désigné un élément négatif, nous parlerions des 4 étages d'escaliers. L’excellente situation de l'appartement dans le centre historique en vaut largement la peine! Merci

"To live in a hotel in Ce...

"To live in a hotel in Cefalu is a huge sin. We’ve chosen this apartment and had everything we wanted – a possibility to touch to real Sicilian life. Pleasant house neighbors saying ”Buongiorno” every morning with a smile, very nice owner of a small shop of vegetables just downstairs and funny pizza makers just a few steps from an apartment. All of them were shouting “Ciao” every time they saw us. Sea view from one of the balconies let us follow changes of the sea waves (the sea was so close!) and the view from the other balcony to the narrow street was an opportunity to follow real life of real Sicilians. Practical side: we’ve been living with two children for 12 days and had everything we needed. Kitchen is very well equipped – pots, pans, dishes. We even have founded a grater for a Parmesan! Apartment is light and has cute window shutters, there is always hot water in a shower. No noise at all. And what I liked mostly - its very clean. So highly recommend this apartment with pleasant owners"

"My real date of stay was May, 27 - June, 09 2012. Unfortunately, due to some technical problem my testimonial did not appear on this site in time. I highly recommend the apartment and the owner. The apartment is spacious enough for a family of 3, has 3 balconies. It is very quiet being situated far from noisy bars and discos yet a few steps from the downtown with all its attractions. A nice small restaurant just round the corner and a variety of shops all around. For those who would like to try swimming off the rocks the sea is literally next to your door. To get to a sandy beach you''ll have to walk for some 10 minutes through the medieval quarters of Cefalu watching the bustling life of this cosy little town. The apartment has everything to supply for a relaxed holiday life. The owner is very helpful. My only complaint is that the apartment is unavailable for our holiday dates this year :)"

"This is a lovely flat with balconies front and back and the bedroom is very large. Piersandro also found a lovely cot for our 16mth old baby and a nice high chair too. Many evenings we simply spent time on the balcony with a glass of wine having put our baby to bed. If I have any criticisms it is of Cefalu and the non observance of traffic restrictions by the drivers. We spent much of our time hauling the baby buggy out of the way of cars and scooters in narrow streets which were supposed to be traffic free. Guess that is a very English thing to say. But we choose Cefalu because we thought it would be more child friendly in that regard than Palermo. When actually Palmero has streets which are not only pedestrianised but the situation is enforced. Cefalu is a lovely and magical place though. Happy memories. Tip: the best pasticceria and most reasonable is Pietro's on the way to the station in via Giuseppe Giglio."

"We are a family with 3 children and stayed for 6 nights in May. The location was perfect in the middle of the historical centre, close to shopping, restaurants and the beach. The apartment was clean and nice, the landlord was very nice and helpful. Balconys on both sides of the apartment was great where we could sit and enjoy the sun and the street life. Only negative thing is the distance to the harbour to park the car, as you must have a special permittance to park in the historical part of the city. We would absolutely like to go here again."

"The apartment was spotle...

"The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It was exactly as described and in a great location within the old part of town and with a short walk to the beach. The view from the balcony across the sea was lovely. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning meant that we could sleep well with the windows closed as there was some traffic noise (due to the cobbled streets below). The owner was extremely helpful and we would love to come back again."
