The Perfect San Diego Stay

Stayed at the Beach Cottage for three months on a travel nurse assignment. The Beach Cottage was absolutely perfect for my roommate and I. The cottage is clean and supplied with everything you could need. The owner is attentive to any needs and resolves any minor hiccup within the day. The location is incomparable - so close to both the beach and the bay! Would definitely stay at the Beach Cottage again!

Beautiful little home

I have lived in my beach home for 6 months. Kelly Ann has been an amazing, personable landlord during this time. I have never lived in a place that had such an accessible landlord who listens to and responds quickly to needs (not that we had many!). The place is up-to-date, clean, and spacious. It is close to everything I want: beaches, bars, restaurants, salons, downtown, grocery stores, etc. I would love to stay longer, however I need to move for work.

Location Location Location

This place is all about location. It’s 3 blocks from Mission Bay, look the other direction and you’re 3 blocks from Pacific Beach. There are a lot of restaurants, coffee shops, and places to go within walking distance. The house is cute, with an extremely easy set up to access just about anything. The one negative on the place (which was more a function of when we came) was how hot it was. We were grateful for the fans provided, but it was still uncomfortably hot. If I’ve only got one complaint, I’d say it was a success by a mile and would absolutely come back or recommend to a friend.

Thank you for your five-star review! So glad you liked the easy access to everywhere and anything! You’re right, southern California had the highest temperature ever in late August. As you know we provide a ceiling fan and tall tower fan in each room which is usually great at keeping the cottage cool and are grateful for the nightly "marine layer/fog" to cool us down. This usually makes us comfortable, but this year I agree it was unseasonably hot. Luckily, we are just 3 blocks from the beach to jump in the sea to cool off or go for cooling beach walk or bike ride. Thank you for recommending us and we hope to host you again!

Amazing property

Lived here from Jan to May to continue my remote studying. This place is so nice and comfortable. We had all the necessary essentials and our host Kelly Ann couldn’t have been nicer. Would totally stay here again. Close to bay & beach and all the great restaurants around town. Perfect location when staying in sunny San Diego!

Perfect in every way!!!

This place is absolutely perfect. It is in a 3 block radius from the beach, the bay, and every restaurant imaginable. It is so organized; everything is labeled and there is an alphabetized binder with an answer to any question you might have. It is very clean and cozy plus all the amenities are top of the line. Kelly is wonderful to rent from and would recommend this place in a heartbeat.

Cute Cottage Near Beach!

Kelly Ann’s beach cottage was perfect for my roommate and I! It was incredibly clean and decorated cutely. She was very accomodating and super friendly on the phone. Kelly Ann’s property is in a prime location, only blocks away from both the bay and beach, not to mention great restaurants, bars, and grocery stores as well! I am incredibly sad to be leaving this place and would definitely recommend to family and friends! Thank you Kelly Ann for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful home away from home

This place was perfect for my roommate and myself as travel nurses. The home came equipped with everything we could need, and everything was in perfect condition upon our arrival. We could not have asked for a better location, being so close to both PB and Mission bay! We walked or rode our bikes everywhere which was an added bonus for us! All of the furnishings were so comfortable, especially the beds and pillows, it really did feel like a home away from home. Kelly Ann was always accessible to us, and very prompt in her responses if we ever needed anything. It was very obvious she takes pride in the cottage, and that made our stay feel even more comfortable. Other awesome bonuses for us were the off-street parking spot and the BBQ in the backyard! I would 100% recommend the cottage to any of my friends/family.

Stayed here last year! Came back again! Beautiful cottage! Great location! Privacy! Backyard! Beach!

My husband and I stayed in this adorable beach cottage for 4 1/2 months last year, and we are here again for a longer stay. This place has everything a traveler could ever want in a winter getaway. The location in Pacific Beach really could not be better. This cottage is so close to all the wonderful amenities that Pacific Beach offers, with the vibrant restaurants and bars all within walking distance. The beautiful Sail Bay, the northern end of Mission Bay, is only 4 short blocks from our front yard, and the Pacific Ocean is 4 blocks West. The cottage is lovingly furnished with really comfy beds, nice linen, a really beautifully equipped kitchen, very nice living room, but the best part is the privacy, a rarity in this area. We actually have a front yard, and an adorable back yard which faces East, so it's a perfect spot to start your day with a cup of coffee! Also, which is big here in PB, there are two off street parking spots. The best part is really the owner, Kelly Ann, who takes excellent care of her properties and is a pleasure to work with. We couldn't be happier!

5 stars all around! Myself and another Traveling RN came to this cottage sight un-seen and can say Kelly Ann can be held to her word. She described the place perfectly and had it immaculate when we arrived. She surely does take pride in her property as well as making sure tenants have everything they need. She had us stocked with essentials (tp, papertowels, cleaning supplies, purified water and WINE). We stayed for a total of 6 months and Kelly Ann was tentative to our needs and immediately came out or sent someone for any problems that arose during our stay. It has a cozy backyard with a grille and is the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee in the early morning sun. Close to everything! No need for a car almost but if you have a bike this is a great location to bike to everything from! Beach and Bay are both blocks away! If I am ever back down in San Diego traveling I would surely stay here again. Great property, location and landlord :)

Beach cottage

My husband and I rented this property from November 1, 2014 to March 15, 2015. and it was truly a delightful stay in this adorable beach cottage. The property is furnished top-notch with all new furniture and appliances, a wonderfully fully stocked kitchen, and comfy beds with quality linens. The location is excellent!!! Four blocks down the street to the beach walk on beautiful Sail Bay, four blocks to the ocean, a couple blocks to a great gym and Trader Joes. Couple all that with a library across the street, and, of course, all the myriad fun restaurants and bars, all within walking distance! One of the best amenities of the cottage is that it has a front yard, a rarity in PB, and a darling private back yard, both enclosed with locked privacy fences. The owner was always pleasant to work with and made sure we had all we needed to be comfortable. The result is that we couldn't have been happier. We hope to come back again in the Fall. An Outstanding Experience

Two years ago we rented a different home from this owner. In this home we had another great experience - nice furniture, nice fully equipped kitchen, nice bathroom with plush towels, nice comfortable beds, nice enclosed backyard, nice beaches nearby and many nice, authentic California spots for a cold beer or margarita! In a word – NICE! Really enjoyed our stay here and want to return.

Walk or bike to downtown PB, Tuesday farmers market, Crystal Pier, Starbucks, Sprouts Market and all the restaurants and nightlife too! Be sure to see our property video!
