The host was a bit grumpy. Two bath towels provided for 8 days for two people. No bath soap, shampoo, which became a non-issue because even I, at 5'2", 105 pounds, didn't fit in the bagno, itself accessible by several sets of stairs. My husband at 6'3," 200 lbs, literally gave up and used the McDonald's bagno 20 min. away. It was well-located as a base of operations, with a beautiful view of the Umbrian countryside. No coffee pot.

Fantastic location to stay, Spello is an ideal place to stay and enjoy the other surrounding Towns

Wonderful location. Fantastic courtyard to enjoy a drink in the afternoon. The owner Roberto was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He picked me up and dropped me back at the station. Highly recommend this accommodation.

Very Comfortable

Beautiful, quiet location, great views from terrace and only a few steps into the old centre of Spello. Very kindly collected from Spello train station by Roberto. Highly recommended.

Quaint in Umbria

We were looking for an apartment within a walled city in Umbria and we are so glad we decided to stay with Roberto. It had everything we needed; enough space, laundry, kitchen facilities, a great patio and a central location where we could make day trips throughout the area. All the appliances and amenities are provided, shopping is nearby and the location within Spello is great. I would highly recommend this apartment and I would stay here again.

Spectacular in Every Way!

The delightful home is very well equipped with everything you need. Charm abounds. The terrace has incredible views and is a perfect setting for cocktails! Roberto explained everything and made us feel very welcome. Spello is wonderful as well. Delightful town with flowers and shops. Thank you Roberto!! We hope to return!

A Hidden Gem with the Best Patio Ever

I found this incredible apartment in Spello at the last minute and had booked it because of the glowing reviews. I'm so happy to add another one to the list. After a horrific travel day, which was scheduled to be late at night to begin with, I ended up not arriving in Spello until almost 1:30 in the morning. I was stressed (to say the least) and Roberto assured me that he would be available to meet for check in no matter what. As my arrival kept getting later, this sweet man told me to take my time and continued to wait. When I met him, he could not have been more kind, showing me everything I needed to know in the apartment. Roberto continued to check in with me throughout my stay and made me feel so welcome in Spello. The apartment is so unique and the pictures don't do it justice. I spent half of my 3 nights there sitting out on the massive patio looking at the stars. It's pure heaven. Inside, there's a perfectly equipped kitchen, cozy bed, and the overall ambiance of the space makes you feel like you've stepped back in time. I came by car and was able to park in a lot that is just about a 3 minute walk from the apartment. Spello itself is stunning and the people are lovely. It's hard not to fall in love with this adorable village. I HIGHLY recommend staying in Roberto's apartment if you make a trip to Spello (which I also recommend!). I can't wait to return and I can only hope this apartment will be available when I do. Thank you, Roberto!!!

Vi älskade den stora terrassen med fantastisk utsikt, den vackra och välutrustade lägenheten Det var mycket nära till ” gamla stan”. Det var lätt att parkera. Roberto var mycket tillmötesgående ,informativ, och vänlig.

Mooie authentieke woning in Spello

Mooie woning, groot terras met prachtig uitzicht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is ruimschoots aanwezig. Badkamer is erg klein, maar netjes en prima verder. Gelegen aan de buitenrand van Spello, parkeren kan vlak bij de woning. We hebben een super fijne week gehad!

Gem of an apartment!

This apartment is fabulous, full of charm and character and a pleasure to holiday in! The views are stunning from the private patio, and it’s just a short walk from the village centre. Reasonably well equipped, though the oven was not working, there was a hob and microwave. The bathroom is tiny with 2 very deep steps up to it, useful to know if anyone has mobility issues. My husband managed but it was not easy. The railway station and supermarket are about a 15 minute walk away, downhill going, uphill coming back! Roberto, the owner was great, he picked us up from the station and took us back at the end of the stay. If we return to Spello we will definitely stay in this gem of an apartment again! Loved it!

Great apartment in a lovely location

It’s comfortable and fully equipped and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. We love it. Spello is a god central location for Umbria but it’s not a foodies paradise - but then we like to cook for ourselves and the terrace is a wonderful shady place to eat in the evening.

Charming and Spacious

Roberto was a very kind and thoughtful host. His place is far better than the pictures show. The ceiling is magical and it is enormous by any country’s standards. It took us a while to figure out the clothes washer but my husband did and we were able to wash all our clothes. The apartment is in a perfect location and the balcony is enormous with a sweeping view of the Umbrian countryside. The only negatives are minor and certainly wouldn’t deter me from booking again. The bathroom is about the size of an airplane bathroom and has two very steep and narrow steps to get into it. If you have any mobility issues, this might not work for you. Or if you are very tall or large, you will be very uncomfortable in the bathroom and shower. The other is the bed and pillows aren’t the most comfortable but I’ve certainly slept in worse. All that being said, you will be thrilled by Roberto’s place. It is charming and spacious (except the bathroom lol) and magical!

Piccola ‘bomboniera’ con vista!

Abbiamo trascorso l’ultima settimana delle nostre vacanze in questo monolocale: tutto molto curato. Qualsiasi cosa possa servire c’è e la cosa veramente fantastica è il terrazzo ad uso esclusivo con vista. Davvero molto bello! Peccato solo per il bagno: molto piccolo con un accesso poco comodo!
