Very Nice Home in an Excellent Location

The house is very nice and located perfectly near the Cove Oasis and Old Town La Quinta. A couple small issues with the lack of an operable coffee maker and the main TV needs to be replaced, but these are pretty small items compared to how wonderful our stay was. We left a new French Press for the next occupants.

Great place, great location

Great property, exactly as advertised. Clean, well appointed, great location near hiking, restaurants and downtown LaQuinta. Host was very responsive and it was an easy check in / check out. Highly recommend this property and host.

Great place to stay!

This house was really lovely. I love where it's located near the hiking trails in La Quinta. The pool and spa were perfect for our family. Instructions were very easy and the owner was available for any questions. Loved it!

Could not be better

Great location with good hikes and bike rides right out the door. We stayed here one other time and would fully recommend it. The house is spacious and the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We loved that the kitchen has all the utensils and pots and pans for cooking. We contacted the owner once because I didn’t understand how to turn something on and he was immediate to respond. We hope to be back.

Great Stay in La Quinta

Everything was really great. We were in town for Power Trip. Location was perfect for us - really nice to be going to the opposite direction compared to most of the other attendees. Pool was perfect for a vacation home. We also asked if we could check in a little early because our flights landed a little after 12pm, and we were granted access. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home with an excellent host.

My stay here was above and beyond. The location in the “cove” is spectacular. There are trails to walk, run, hike steps outside the property. The backdrop is amazing. The house is big with a big fully stocked kitchen for cooking elaborate meals. The rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. During my stay the pool and hot tub broke. David (our host) had it fixed in a matter of hours. He was a fantastic and communicative host our entire stay. Would recommend 10/10 and will be staying here again.

Golf vacation

Great location at the too of the Cove. Very accessible to golf course, restaurants and trail network. Our host was very reponsive and tge house worked out great.

A cove gem

Fantastic property perfect for hiking, biking, enjoying the outdoors and just basking in the sun. Quiet neighborhood. We’ve stayed in many VRBOs and this was a real winner. It’s rare to see a kitchen with functional knives and nice dishes. Exceeded expectations.

Fantastic stay!

Our family had such a wonderful time at this home. The hosts have thought of every item you could possibly need, the communication via VRBO app, emails, and on-site booklet were thorough and informative. The home is spacious, well decorated, clean and comfortable. This home is in great proximity to enjoyable hiking trails and we really loved getting back from our hikes to enjoy the pool and spa. We loved this peaceful retreat.

Great getaway

We were looking for a sunny escape from the gloomy coastal marine layer and found it! This is a great house in La Quinta Cove near hiking trails with views of the mountains. The house was well appointed and very clean. We spent most our days by the pool. It’s not big but it was perfect for 1-2 people to float in and didn’t need heating this time of year. The owner was super responsive. I highly recommend!

Oasis in the Desert

My friends and I had a terrific and memorable stay here. The rooms and bathrooms were a great size and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed using the pool in the day time, and how convenient the location was to the polo fields for stagecoach. All around we had a great stay and would love to stay here again in the future.

Great experience. House was clean, comfortable, and I’m a great location. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time staying here. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Directions for use looked intimidating but were easy once you were in front of it. House is well equipped with everything you need and is located just a short walking distance from miles of hiking trails. Communication with host and easy and quick as was the check in and check out process. Would stay here again and highly recommend.

First time visitors to Palm Springs area

This was our first visit to the desert area of CA - Palm Springs area so not sure what to expect. It was lovely!... in January. Lots of things to do (besides golf) and LA Quinta was a beautiful little oasis. This home is in a quiet neighborhood and close to the mountains-lots of places for mid morning strolls or more energetic hikes! This spacious home is nicely furnished and has a plentiful supply of kitchen & bath items. Dave was quick to respond to our questions on how to find this or that. We enjoyed the hot tub & grill and a garage to park in. We would definitely visit again!

Excellent vacation home!

We enjoyed our visit to La Quinta very much! The house is in a great location and was very clean and comfortable. My whole family enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Dave was vey easy to communicate with.

Well equipped

We had a great stay for Ironman Indian Wells with our little one! We brought a travel crib. Kitchen had the basics. Laundry was easy. Neighborhood was quiet. Beds are on the soft side. Only challenge was the pool. Was cold when we arrived (December) and the instructions were easy to follow. I misunderstood however and thought heater timed out at 2hours. It’s the pump that does. You get three gallons of propane per day- that didn’t mean anything to me. Turns out that’s very little. Combined with my mistake we heated more than planned and spent $250 dollars extra on propane. That said, budget for $200 extra per week in the winter if you want a warm pool. Not unreasonable, but just don’t be surprised. All around would stay again.

Top of La Quinta Cove, offering a serene private retreat surrounded by a beautiful desert mountain cove while being conveniently close to great restaurants and event venues. Our home is a custom built Spanish style, single level, with high ceilings and comfortable beds, private salt water pool and spa, fully furnished and ready to go. You'll want to return year after year.

Situated at the top of La Quinta Cove, surrounded by the beautiful Santa Rosa Mountain sits Casa Rubio. Our home offers a great get away retreat, including a gorgeous private therapeutic salt water pool and spa. Three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, for accommodations of up to six guests. The Living space is custom laid travertine, and a large open space for entertaining. Great restaurants are just a few miles away as well as local event venues such as The Empire Polo Club, Indian Wells Tennis Garden and World Class Shopping and Restaurants at near by El Paseo in Palm Desert.
