Great Place

We stayed 8 wonderful days in Jean Paul’s beautiful apartment. Very peaceful surroundings with a magnificent view. Would recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful rest.

The location was excellent and overall the property was good. I wasn’t expecting such a small kitchen though. Simply making breakfast was difficult as there was no room. Luckily we were only snacking but even that was a challenge at times. The living and dining space was lovely. Some of the crockery had small chips . Overall the place was clean and is clearly somebody’s home as there were locked cupboards which restricts storage - especially in the kitchen. I probably would not have stayed there if I’d known about the kitchen , however, I would now stay there again based on the location and the rest of the property and we enjoyed our stay. There were only three of us so don’t know how it would be if there were six staying. Very well located property if you want to visit the beaches and museums.

Gorgious view at night

Nice well equipped rental home. We were able to check in on various locations in regards DDay, all within 30 min drive. The ocean view is perfect especially the sunset. Good communication with Jean-Paul and all very clear. The only comment we have is the master bed, it was not to comfy. When my husband turned, I was wiggling. And note to Jean Paul: please check the dust on the lampshades (ceiling). Overall, it was a good place to be.

Property has incredible location on the water front/beach. Historical location very unique. Well centered for all WWII Sites, Grand Camp Maisy Battery, point du Hoc, Omaha beach and other Beach sites for D-Day, St Mere Egliase, and other D-Day Battle locations. It truly only had one Toilet. The Sinks and Shower are in one room with washer and Dryer. The toilet is in separate small room. Bedrooms are small but all is workable and functional. Kitchen has everything you need. Little bar is fun and convenient to visit around. Patio outside is great with large yard. We were there for 80th D-Day festivities so saw WWII Airplanes back and forth to point du Hoc. Proprietor was available, friendly and helpful. Responsive and suggestive of local area amenities.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, die Wohnung war genau wie beschrieben. Die Ausstattung war super, alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr gut, wir haben eine sehr detaillierte E-Mail erhalten, deshalb hatten wir keine Probleme mit dem Öffnen des Schlüsselsafes und der Türen. Sehr schön fand ich in der E-Mail die Erwähnung der Größe der Bettdecken bei den Doppelbetten, da wir unsere Bettwäsche selbst mitgebracht haben und in Deutschland diese Bettdecken eher unüblich sind. So konnten wir dementsprechend planen. Wir waren drei Erwachsene, der Platz in der Wohnung und in den Schlafzimmern war gut. Das Badezimmer ist klein, man hat aber alles, was man braucht. Lediglich ein paar Haken zusätzlich beim Waschtisch für Handtücher wären schön. Alles in Allem waren wir rundum zufrieden, wir würden die Wohnung jederzeit wieder buchen. Die Lage ist unschlagbar, wunderbar ruhig, direkter Strandzugang und traumhafter Blick von der Terrasse aufs Meer.

Bel appartement fonctionnel et bien equipé avec vue et acces direst a la plage.Correspond en tout point a l'annonce.Environnement et residence calme.Le village propose le marché aux poisson et crustacés tous les matin. A refaire !

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit. Den Blick vom schönen großen Wohnraum aufs Meer haben wir sehr genossen. Auch war es ein guter Ausgangspunkt für sehr abwechslungsreiche Unternehmungen an Küste und im Land.

Perfecte uitvalsbasis, geweldig aan zee gelegen

We hebben genoten van ons verblijf, het huis is perfect gelegen om de landingsstranden te bezoeken. De ligging aan zee was voor ons fenomenaal.

Très bon séjour

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans un.environnement très calme. L'appartement est spacieux et idéalement situé pour visiter les plages du débarquement. L'accès direct à la plage a permis aux enfants de profiter de la plage à marée basse.

Très belle vue sur la mer, accès direct sur plage galets et sable. Pièce de vie agréable.

Période un peu pluvieuse Beaucoup de jeu de société avec nos 4 petits enfants Période très agréable Il manque les notices d'utilisation de la machine à laver la vaisselle (pas facile à utiliser) La pièce à vivre est spacieuse et agréable. Aménagement de l'appartement un peu vétuste, Il faudrait indiquer qu'il y a des marches pour accéder à l'appartement (pas de problème pour nous, mais il vaut mieux le mentionner). Nous avons téléphoné à Abritel, mais numéro ne fonctionnant pas. Ce n'est pas normal Si problème avec la location, aucune possibilité de contacter Abritel, alors que nous les payons.
