A charming, welcoming 90 m² house just a stone's throw from the sea: perfect for exploring, writing, reading or simply reflecting...

Authentic, spacious fisherman's cottage on three levels with two sea views (first and second floors), located in the heart of Grandcamp-Maisy.

The beach is within walking distance, with this house located 40 metres from the sea!

Grandcamp-Maisy is ideally located for exploring the entire region, close to Isigny-sur-Mer, Bayeux, Arromanches, Sainte-Mère-Église, Cherbourg and near the D-Day beaches: Utah Beach and Omaha Beach, Museums, Memorial, Military Cemeteries...).

This townhouse without outdoor space is also located 5 km from the historic site of Pointe du Hoc, where a breathtaking view of the sea awaits you.

Forget the car: at the foot of the house you will find all the shops (bakery, butcher, tobacconist, restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket, farmers' market on Tuesdays in front of the house) and all the leisure activities you could need.
Fishing port and marina – Treat yourself to fish and shellfish every morning at the fish market, just a 3-minute walk away.

Accommodation:
• Ground floor: Large open-plan kitchen, fully fitted and very well equipped, with a beautiful dining area and relaxation space – Shower room with WC.
Enclosed courtyard for storing bicycles, beach games, etc.

• First floor: Comfortable and bright 30 m² living room with sea view, TV.
• 2nd floor: 2 separate bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a bed facing the sea (so close that you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves) with a 140x190 double bed and the 2nd bedroom with two 90x190 single beds – This second bedroom has access to the bathroom.

Sheets, duvets, pillows and tea towels provided.

All windows have roller shutters, perfect for a good night's sleep.

Parking is available in front of the house and in the surrounding streets, and there are also free municipal car parks less than 200 metres away.

Electric cars: Charging station located on the square in front of Grandcamp-Maisy Town Hall – 24/7 (less than 200 metres from the house).

The Vélomaritime: Cycle route from Grandcamp-Maisy to Colleville-sur-Mer (Liberté greenway, along the Bessin cliffs).
Sports activities at the CAP 21 sailing school in Grandcamp-Maisy.

Free high-speed internet access (fibre).
Off-season: minimum stay of 2 nights.
July & August: Weekly or midweek rentals (Monday to Friday) or minimum stay of 4 nights.

Le logement était vraiment parfait .D’une propreté irréprochable, parfaitement équipé et idéalement situé.Deux vues sur la mer très appréciable de la chambre et du canapé.Le tout est Idéalement placé pour découvrir toute la région et les sites historiques du Débarquement. Logement assez spacieux pour 5 et très propre. La propriétaire est très sympathique et de bons conseils.Quelques infos à savoir : Les chambres sont au 2ème étage, étages accessibles par un escalier assez raide et étroit. La salle d'eau du 2ème étage est accessible depuis la chambre avec les 2 lits simple, pas depuis la chambre avec le lit double. Et avant la canicule, le linge avait du mal à sécher (2 jours) car pas de jardin, cour ouverte ou balcon. Autre point, il fallait se garer ailleurs le dimanche et le mardi, car brocante puis marché dans la rue.Egalement beaucoup de points fort pour ce logement : L'emplacement est vraiment top, à 50m max de la plage surveillée et de l'école de voile. Possibilité de se garer devant la maison durant 15 minutes, autres places dans la rue juste après pour 2h maxi (zone bleue : prévoir un disque). Cela peut être vu comme une contrainte mais comme ça on trouve régulièrement une place juste devant en rentrant d'une sortie ou de courses pour décharger la voiture. Il faut aller un peu plus loin pour les places gratuites non limitée dans le temps.Une vue sur la mer agréable, même si encadrée par 2 bâtiments. (voir photo ci-jointe le dernier soir de notre séjour).Cuisine très bien équipée.Wifi fonctionnel.Jeux de sociétés et prospectus touristiques.Je recommande vraiment ce logement, si les escaliers ne sont pas un problème pour vous.
Vue arrière depuis le salon au 1er étage.

Normandy

The property is in the middle of the American sectors of Omaha and Utah Beach. And so near the ocean you can hear the waves lull you to sleep. The neighborhood is a dream with crepes and pastry’s nearby. As well as a farmers market out the front door on Wednesdays. Pascal lives close enough to help with anything. Nicest owner we have rented from. Highly recommend.

Lovely stay in Grandcamp Maisy

We enjoyed our 5 days in Pascale's house immensely. Exceptionally clean, well equipped and ideally located for the bakery, beach, butchers, bars and restaurants. Great sea views, the binoculars were a nice touch. A great base for our exploration of the area and D-Day historical sites. Highly recommend and hopefully we will return one day. Thank you Pascale!

Beautiful house in an amazing location

I almost don’t want to give this house a good rating as I want to keep it for myself! Gorgeous, house in the center of town and central to the Normandy beaches. Such a perfect location. Communications from the owner was fantastic and we felt very welcome. Very clean and well appointed with everything we needed. Perfect for the four adults who stayed, possibly not so suitable for small children or those with limited mobility due to the stairs. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Das Haus ist komfortabel, gemütlich, charmant eingerichtet und bietet viel Platz. Fantastic Hosts, Great Stay

Stayed for 17 days to celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day. Xavier and Pascale could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We love Grandcamp and the location was fantastic. We are extremely picky about cleanliness and so are they. Unit came equipped with pretty much everything one could need. If mobility is an issue, be aware that there are 3 stories connected by a spiral staircase.

We had a few days in Grandcamp Maisy and visited the local area. The house was clean well furnished and exactly as described. Pascale is a superb host, she was very accommodating and flexible.

Logement impeccable et hôte très gentille et sympathique.

Nous connaissions déjà la Normandie. Nous venions surtout pour la fête Viking à Isigny-sur-Mer. Nous avons eu un très bon accueil de notre hôte (avec quelques petites attentions). La maison est très belle et très typique (vue sur mer du salon et de la chambre parentale) avec un très bel escalier. Le logement était très propre. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
