While I'm sure the place is nice, we will never know. We received confirmation two weeks prior to arrival that our payment and deposit had been accepted, and that we would receive access instructions closer to our arrival date. The day before, shortly after checking in for our flights to Miami, I received emails from Kelly, the owner, advising of the refund of our payment and deposit, without further explanation. I asked why the refund and received no response. I checked the HomeAway trip site and it showed that the reservation was cancelled by the owner...the DAY BEFORE our arrival! I sent multiple follow up messages to the owner to request a phone call or a reason why it was cancelled; no response. I called HomeAway and they had to transfer me to rebooking as they verified that the owner has cancelled our reservation and the only thing that they can do is to try to find a similar property that is available, for spring break, the day before we are set to arrive. Now we are left scrambling trying to find accommodations for our family vacation a day before arrival, when we booked weeks in advance.
