The flat is fully authorized with regard to all the rules and regulations concerning safety and hygiene.
The accomodation comprises: hall; two bedrooms, one with an adjoining bathroom; a large drawing-room with a dining area and a sitting room with a confortable sofa; nice kitchen and bathroom with a bath/shower fitting.
It can easily accomodate 4 people; it is well-appointed and equipped with all the necessities for dayly life to ensure a lovely holiday experience in a home. All the fitting are in good order.
Some reduction may be applied in consideration of the number of people and the length of stay.
Situated close to Porta Pia (one of the Rome's Gates) in the ancient Aurelian Walls, which became the symbol of Rome as the capital of Italy in 1870 at the time of the unification of Italy.
It is a lively area where every kind of service is available with plenty of transport, buses: 62 to the centre, Pizza di Spagna, Via Condotti, Piazza Venezia and St. Peter's; 36; 90 Express to Termini Station; 60 to the Colosseum.
A short and pleasant walk will led you to enjoy the relax of Villa Borghese park, or to the shopping streets, Piazza di Spagna, Via Condotti, Via del Corso.

Our Stay in Rome

Cristina's apartment is lovely! It's close to many restaurants, markets, and attractions. Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short due to illness, but I would definitely recommend Cristina's apartment when visiting this beautiful, historic city!

Great apartment in a great location

A perfect place to stay for an extended time in Rome. It had everything we needed and made us feel like locals shopping at the fruit market and grocery a short walk away. The apartment is comfortable and clean. Maria Cristina and Francesco were great hosts and we felt we could always contact them.

Wonderful stay

This is Italy. The feeling of Rome in an old quaint beautiful apartment. Maria Cristina and Francesco were fantastic hosts. And the prperty made the Rome trip really feel like Rome.

Large Apartment - Great Location!

Maria Christina was responsive and friendly. The apartment is spacious and allowed our family of four to each have space to relax and wind down after long days exploring the beautiful city of Rome. From this wonderful location near one of the city’s gates, Porta Pia, we walked to historic sites such as the colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, Borghese Park, The Spanish Steps, St. Peters Basilica, the Vatican museum, and the Sistine chapel. We’re able to walk to and from Roma Termini train station for our travel in and out of the city. We would stay here again! Convenient and clean!

Beautiful home. Close to the train terminal.

This beautiful home was a delight to stay in. Well furnished, very clean, a lot of space. The owners, Maria Christina and Francesco are very thoughtful and helpful. They would answer any questions we had in a timely manner. I was able to connect with them through whatsapp which made communication easy. The master bedroom faces the inner courtyard so it was very quiet. The room with the two single beds face the street. The apartment is located on the 4th floor so with the windows closed the street noise was at a minimum. There was a small lift for 3 people if you do not feel the urge to clime the 4 flights of stairs. From their house to the Coliseum we took the metro(subway). The station is about a 5 block walk and drops you off in front of the Coliseum. The Vatican Museum can be reached by using one of the city buses that pass in front of the house. Each trip takes about 20 to 30 minutes. There is a grocery store 2 blocks away and also a fresh produce market 2 blocks away. We found an excellent rosticceria (a type of restaurant that specializes in home made take out food) was 5 blocks away at Via Bergamo 5, if you are tired of pizza. Don Nino, across the street from the rosticcera was great for breakfast/coffee/pastries. If we would plan another trip to Rome, we would love to stay at this wonderful home again. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The hosts warmly greeted us when we arrived. They showed us around the flat explaining how things worked. They were helpful throughout our stay.The flat is in a lovely and safe area. It truly added to our experience of staying in Rome.Conveniently located to the sites and local restaurants and shops. We would love to stay here again and will recommend it to others.

Rome experience

Property was clean and in established neighbourhood. Appartment on 4 th floor but elevator available. Building was quiet but traffic noise outside normal for city property. Host was present at check in and very helpful.

19 nuits dans la Ville Éternelle

Grand appartement propre et bien situé, à proximité de tous les services, bus, marchés d’alimentation, panoplie d’excellents restaurants, le tout dans un quartier de qualité non rempli de touristes. Le seul hic est que l’appartement est localisé sur une artère importante, et donc passablement bruyant pour les pièces donnant sur la rue ( salon et chambre d’enfants), Par contre la chambre des maîtres, située à l’arrière, est très tranquille. Bon accueil des hôtes.

Classic Roman Apartment

Maria and husband were there to meet me and my two sisters. The apartment is spacious with 2 large bedrooms and ample living and dining rooms. Grateful for the lift (elevator)! Quiet neighborhood, easy to get to main attractions in Rome via public bus. Loved the traditional furnishings and homey atmosphere, reminded me of my Nonna's house! Kitchen fully furnished. Full bath and partial bath in main bedroom. Some street noise in the front bedroom, but overall a very pleasant and safe stay.

Very Nice Apartment Close to Termini

This apartment was perfect for our family of four, including two children ages 10 and 8. Everything you need to ensure a comfortable stay is provided. Maria Cristina and her husband met us at check in and ensured we had a clear understanding of how everything works and even provided us with recommendations for the area. The apartment gives you the feeling of actually living in Rome. The apartment is well-appointed with furniture and decorations that simply feel right. We loved how close it was to Villa Borghese, (which is a must-see for any family) and its proximity to Termini station. Although Maria Cristina provided us with the buses that transport you directly to the city center and/or Vatican, we chose to walk everywhere and soak in the culture. Out of all the places we have traveled, my 10-year old son loves Rome the most and this apartment contributed a great deal to that determination. The only area we would improve is the water pressure in the shower. It was a bit lacking, but it is expected when living in older neighborhoods/apartments. This improvement is minor and we would stay here again regardless. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Rome and will attempt to stay in this apartment again!

Bel appartement spacieux bien placé

Appartement typique proche du centre et très bien desservi (plusieurs ligne de bus). Très bien équipé, avec deux salles de bain. Propriétaires accueillants. Seul point négatif, il n'y a pas de double vitrage et la circulation est assez bruyante.

A Roman Holiday

We spent 4 days in Rome at the Apartment. It was close to a grocery store and within walking distance of the metro station. It was a cozy apartment that had all the things we needed including a washing machine and drying rack. Our host was welcoming and had a map in the apartment for us to use, which proved very helpful. She also checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. The wifi was outstanding. Having kids with us, that was great for them to be able to decompress after a long day of exploring. We really enjoy our stay at Quartiere IV Salario.

Perfect except for A/C in mater bedroom only

Good location. Less than 5 minutes to several bus lines, several places to eat close (many good ones within 15 minutes walk), grocery store (across the street). If you want A/C, they only have it in the master bedroom. The main sitting area and particularly the second bedroom will be warm. If it cool out, then this doesn’t matter. Note that with windows open the 2nd bedroom will be super duper noisy. Master bedroom is quiet. They have a full kitchen (stocked). We didn’t use but it was there. You can cook your meals there. The main sitting area is large (one big sofa, large table foray least six). Two bathrooms are nice. Master bath is just a toilet and sink. Shower is in the hall bath with toilet. I would not stay here when it is warm. I would highly recommend this place when cool. The owners were very nice. They communicated well. Again, 5 stars if it cool out (or you don’t care about AC. 3 Stars if it is warm.

Beautiful, Spacious Apartment

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful, spacious apartment. It was wonderfully situated within walking distance to many wonderful restaurants and cafes. Beautiful location

I really appreciate owner great communication and help on our arrival and departure I was glad that I found out about Euro 3.50 per person per day cash charges before arrival via reviews and was prepared for those ( should be included in the description) Location is perfect with grocery store and bus stop nearby and potentially walking distance to train station and a few attractions Kitchen is super tiny and for max of 2 people Everything is very old inside the place . I was very disappointed to be charged my security payment for bed base plank breaking on our last night We were blamed to break it when we just slept on it ( we are not overweight) I was advised that we “violently” set on it which is not true, but I could not persuade owner to return my money. I loved the place but afraid to recommend it. If bed or something else old will break you will have to pay for it even when you did not cause it to break except just being there.

Totalmente recomendable!

El apartamento de Maria Cristina es perfecto para pasar unos magníficos días en Roma en familia, está perfectamente equipado, prácticamente como si estuvieras en casa, buena limpieza, supermercados italianos cercanos (no de turistas), tiendas y restaurantes (nos gustó mucho Al Padovano algo más caro que otros pero todo muy rico y muy italiano), muy bien comunicado con transporte público variado a sólo unos metros y con posibilidad de acceder a pie al centro de Roma en pocos minutos. Al estar alejado del centro turístico te sientes como un italiano más, lo que se agradece bastante. Además, María Cristina y su marido Francesco han estado muy atentos con nosotros, lo que ha facilitado la estancia. Por poner una pega, la zona que da a Via Nomentana algo ruidosa por el tráfico, pero repetiríamos sin duda.

Wonderful Apartment

A lovely spacious apartment, very well equiped and clean. A great area to stay in, there are lots of good, reasonably priced restaurants nearby. It is very easy to travel in to central Rome to see all the sights, a short journey by bus or metro. Maria Cristna and her husband were very welcoming and helpful. An excellent place to stay, I would definitely stay there again.

Lovely Rome apartment

Great Apartment Outside Busy Tourist Areas

We rented this apartment on our recent trip to Rome in May 2017 (3 adults). The apartment was very spacious and clean, and was equipped with all the amenities needed. There is an elevator/lift in the building which is good if you have lots of luggage. It is away from the tourist area, but close to the Metro (5-10 min walk) which was very convenient to get to all the attractions (e.g. Colosseum, Vatican) and to the airport/train stations. Has a number of great restaurants and grocery stores nearby (all within walking distance), and is close to Gelateria La Romana (one of the best ice cream/gelato places in all of Italy). Maria Christina and Francesco were very helpful and friendly hosts. I would highly recommend this place if you want to experience Rome like a local!

Séjour parfait

Merci à Maria-Cristina et son mari pour l'accueil. Nous sommes restés 17 jours dans cet appartement très lumineux et bien équipé. On a l’impression d'être chez soi. Le quartier est très vivant avec de nombreux restaurants à découvrir et proche des bus pour le centre et la villa Borghese. Certes la chambre des enfants et un peu bruyante car coté rue, mais rien de très gênant pour notre fille ado de 15 ans! De nombreux commerces sont à proximité.

Just like home

We spent one month at this clean, comfortable, and well located apartment in a beautiful old building. Maria Cristina and Francesco were wonderful hosts, providing all the amenities anyone could need and always responding to any questions we had. The location is very convenient. It is close to all the tourist sites, but it is a place where Romans - and few tourists - stay. There are excellent restaurants, gelateria, a big market, and many supermarkets and specialty food shops nearby. This is an apartment I would love to stay in again, and I have already recommended it to friends.
