There was a total of 6 adults that stayed here. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the washer and dryer worked very well.
The house is really in need of updating. It felt like the decor, bedding, appliances were items that used to be in their home. The kitchen sink is stained and chipped, the bedding is that of the 80's. The refrigerator, while it worked fine, could be updated so that you can dispense water and ice from it rather than the cracked ice cube trays that leaked all over the freezer causing me to chip the freezer clear of all the frozen water that collected due to that.
The bikes are very old. There are 3 adult bikes and 2 for children. One adult bike was useable. One had a popped tire, and the other was an old fashioned cruiser with no gears. In Sunriver you need a bike with gears, so we had to rent bikes since 2 of them were virtually unusable.
The back deck is large and comfortable. They provide deck furniture, and the surrounding area is very nice.
As far as convenience to the stores and village, I would not consider it walking distance. You need your bike to get around from the cabin. I would say it's about a 7 minute bike ride.
The blinds were a pain to open and close because they were the VERY OLD slats that you push back and forth, and after having to continually put slats back on that popped off, we just left them open for the rest of our stay.
The kitchen is very small, if you are staying for a long time, keep that in mind, however, again it is very well stocked with just about everything you would need in a kitchen.
The coffee table in the living area had a damaged leg, so everytime you wanted to move it you had to lift the table up and then set it down. There are 2 bathrooms and they were fine. They offered a nice roomy shed for items to be stored and locked up. That was nice.
Overall, we had a decent 11 day stay, however, we agreed that for the price we paid, it wasn't worth that and we will rent a different place next visit. I'm sorry for the negative feedback, but I'm just trying to be as honest as possible.
