My husband and I stayed with our 2 dogs for 4 nights while our home was being renovated. The cabin was great and the location was just what we wanted - secluded but close enough to things if we wanted to do something. Very cozy and super clean cabin. It had everything we needed. The fire pit area is great and the huge covered porch was so nice. My only complaint (and the only reason I won’t return) is the bed in the main bedroom is entirely too small for 2 adults. Hubby ended up on the couch. Not quite the romantic getaway I’d hoped for. The bed in the loft is a bit bigger but not practical since the only access is a ladder (middle of the night bathroom trips would be dangerous). My hope is that it can be considered to flip the bed in the main room to one of the walls with the windows. Yes you’d partially block a window but with a lower bed it wouldn’t be so bad and then you’d be able to fit a queen size bed. Other than the tiny bed, the place was great. If you don’t mind a small bed, then don’t hesitate to book this place! Some outings we did - Cooperstown, Howe Cavern, Brewery Ommegang, Rail Explorers, & Robert V Riddell State Park. All worth checking out! All in all great place and great trip and I give it 5 stars!!
