Great stay

We had a great 2 weeks and really enjoyed the area. The house was clean and the pool was brilliant. A perfect place to stay and explore the island. Ian was super helpful with all our questions.

Excellent property Excellent location

We really enjoyed our holiday at this property. It was immaculate, in lovely grounds with a heated pool. So near the village that we could cycle and get fresh croissants every morning. Ian was exceptionally helpful and was an excellent host. Children said it was “The best holiday ever”

Stunning villa, great location and amazing hosts

The villa was absolutely beautiful, a few minutes walk to the local square and restaurants and perfectly located for access to the cycle paths that cross the island. Ian and Isabelle were on hand for any questions we had (including restaurant recommendations) and to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommend.

Beautiful Family Holiday Home

The house, garden and pool were all immaculate and beautifully presented.We had a perfect week as a family of 4 here and Ian was a pleasure to deal with on arrival and departure!The local village square is 3-4 minutes walk away and is exactly what we look for in a French holiday with a couple of restaurants/bars, boulangerie and all important bike hire for Ile de Ré! I'm sure we'll be back!

Fabulous Holiday.

Just spent a great week in this lovely house. Ian and Isabelle are fantastic hosts. Lots of good advice on the best places to eat. The house is very close to La Noue village which has everything we needed. The heated pool was a hit. Will be back!

Superb stay in a beautiful place!

Everything about our stay was Superb! The house, grounds and pool are all stunning and were exactly what we needed for a family getaway. Location is excellent (5 min walk to village square with bakery, restaurants, shops) and house is very well equipped too. Pool was spotlessly clean and ample, comfortable Sun loungers and chairs with shade surround it too. Ian and Isabelle are fantastic hosts - thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish and they couldn’t have been more helpful, thank you both very much! We would 110% stay again.

Beautiful house and garden in a great location!

We spent a lovely week here with our three children. The house was well-equipped and nicely decorated. The pool was great and used everyday! Just a short walk to La Noue market and boulangerie and a short bike ride to the beach. A great holiday home - we recommend without hesitation! Thank you to Isabelle and Ian for being very kind and helpful hosts.

Just come back from the most fabulous stay. Can’t recommend highly enough. Wonderful villa, very comfortable and immaculate. Ian is a fantastic host and gave us brilliant recommendations for things to do and restaurants. One of the best restaurants we found was in La Noue itself. Lovely holiday. Weather perfect. We hired electric bikes which made the holiday so much more laid back and fun. We explored the whole island on very easy cycle paths. Fantastic holiday. Sad it’s over.

Fantastic week at the wonderfull Ile de Ré

Lovely place to explore Ile de Re

Very well located property, a short stroll from lovely restaurants, bakery, butcher and other amenities and a short bike ride away from the island’s best beaches as well as charming towns and villages. The property was perfect for our needs - extended family - both in terms of layout and equipment. The large heated pool was a big hit with all. This has proven to be an excellent choice of villa which compares favorably with more expensive properties on the island. Lastly, Ian and Isabelle were incredibly helpful, especially when we were unable to send out luggage home as planned. They went out of their way to ensure we had a smooth outcome and we are very grateful.

Excellent holiday rental.

Had a really lovely 2 week stay (even the rain on a couple of days couldn't spoil our holiday ) The owners Ian and Isabelle are the most welcoming, friendly and helpful you could ever meet. The house is very comfortable and large enough to in our case to accommodate 6 adults and a baby. The pool and and outside space is truly amazing for Ile de Re lots of different places to sit and always somewhere in the sun or shade. We swam in the pool most days it was a lovely temputure and size. The location is brilliant, peaceful but within walking distance of a couple of restaurants, bike hire shops, beach and most importantly boulangeries. It's also really easy to access the cycle paths to bike around the island which we did most days. Our daughter and son-in-law also enjoyed running around the area (they were training for a half marathon ). Thank you Ian and Isabelle for a wonderful holiday can't wait to return.

Your 2 weeks was definitely a holiday of 2 half’s!! The first gloriously warm and sunny with the second turning immediately autumnal. The boulangerie La Douce Mie, deserves a lot of our credit, for guests enjoying their holiday, with a gentle north easterly breeze the smell of freshly baked baguettes wafting over the garden is irresistible! Without doubt the best boulangerie on Île de Ré. Merci beaucoup encore Ian and Isabelle.

Belle propriété bien située

le logement est très bien situé à proximité de la place des tilleuls de sainte Marie. il est sur une propriété de 2 maisons, permettant d'accueillir des grandes familles. nous avions la maison du fond de la propriété, et tout s'est bien passé.Ian a été très accommodant et soucieux de la qualité de notre séjour, réglant les petits détails au fur et à mesure.merci pour l'accueil !

Super séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et tenons à vous remercier pour tout : l'accueil chaleureux, la gentillesse, les attentions, les conseils, leurs équipements vraiment complets,surtout la piscine chauffée. La maison était parfaite pour notre réunion de famille.

Un séjour parfait
