Fantastic views and beautiful apartment.

We absolutely loved staying at Vomero. It was a beautiful property in a tranquil setting and the views from the balcony/apartment, of the bay and gardens, were amazing. It was spotlessly clean and the kitchen area was kitted out with everything you needed. We had many nice days out and recommend Dartmouth and Totnes and a meal at The Drum inn in Cockington which is just 2 miles away. We even saw a Shetland pony at the bar!!! Louise and Sean were the perfect hosts and were on hand if you needed anything but also gave you your space. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Beautiful property with fantastic views

Our room was very large, tastefully decorated with beautiful views down to the Bay. The rest of the property was very grand, especially the stained glass windows on the main staircase. Everything was provided for a lovely stay. Thank you Louise and Sean

A comfortable and welcoming holiday apartment

We were looking for a comfortable retreat to return to after spending the days looking for a future retirement opportunity and found it at Vomero. The apartment was well and thoughtfully equipped demonstrating the time and care someone had taken.

Lovely owners & beautiful apartment

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Angela & John were very welcoming & helpful throughout the stay. The apartment was bright with stunning view. A well-equipped home with ample of indoor games, everything you really need for a holiday. We would definitely visit again.

We feel incredibly fortunate to have lived in this beautiful Italian style Victorian villa since November 2019. Built in 1838, the house is full of rich history, charm and character, something we love sharing with our guests.

Hosting is something we genuinely enjoy and we take pride in creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where guests can feel at home while experiencing the beauty of the English Riviera.

Our aim is to ensure you have a memorable and relaxing stay.

We chose this special corner of Torquay for its rare balance of tranquillity and vibrant coastal life.

Set within the beautiful English Riviera, Vomero is nestled in the hills, offering a peaceful, secluded setting while still being just a short stroll from the lively bay with its shops, bars and restaurants.

The property itself is part of a stunning Grade II listed building dating back to 1838, now home to six unique self catering apartments full of character and charm.

From here, you can enjoy the best of both worlds, relaxing in quiet surroundings with sea views and gardens, then heading down to the coast to soak up the atmosphere, beaches and local dining scene.
