Beautiful location

Great pool, fabulous outdoor space and incredible views of the Tuscan countryside. Fabrizio and Maria were lovely hosts and welcomed us with homemade olive oil, honey and local wine which was a lovely gesture. We really enjoyed our stay.

Lovely property. Nice views and convenient to Castellina. Efficient check in and check out. Owner very kindly provided some hand-crafted honey and olive oil. Consider adding outdoor heater or fire pit for chilly autumn evenings. Overall, very nice stay.

The best stay in Tuscany

Excellent! More than words could describe it!! It was all we need for a family of 7. The views, the two homes were the best because my kids and husband we stayed in the main home with all we need ... full kitchen and two excellent bedrooms and full bathrooms .. big kitchen and living room ... also an outside table with grill that we made a good BBq. While my elderly father and sister stayed in the small home next to us ( independent entrance which was good) with full kitchen and a very confortable bedrooms. Favrizzio is an excellent host that accomodate our needs and was very flexible on the check in / check out process and times. He gave us olive oli from his land and all the help we needed ! We will return next year and every time we visit Tuscany... the location is perfect to make a base and from there visit Siena, Florence, Radda in chianti and all the beautiful little towns in the area! We highly recomend Favrizzio home to a family or a couple with or without kids!! A dream home!

Our stay was exactly what a villa in a small town in Tuscany is all about! We enjoyed cooking there, soaking up sun poolside, venturing out to various towns and eating dinner and shopping in Castellina in Chianti where the villa is located right outside of town. Fabrizio and his daughter, Emma, were amazing hosts! So warm and personable and helpful. We loved our stay!

Panorama magnifique

Les extérieurs sont superbes, la piscine est immense, la vue sur Castellina inoubliable. Le boulodrome bien que sympathique est difficilement jouable, le coin tennis de table parfait pour des tournois endiablés. La terrasse est magnifique, à proximité de la cuisine correctement équipée. La location est séparée en 2 appartements, ce qui n’est absolument pas gênant pour la convivialité. Sienne et Florence, facilement accessibles. Les restaurants à proximité sympathiques( surtout celui de Panzano) Seuls bémols, la sdb que nous occupions était très exiguë et une douche à l’étage ne fonctionnait pas. Le parking est difficilement accessible et les réveils matinaux liés aux activités de nos voisins ( propriétaires il me semble) quelque peu gênants. En somme, un séjour agréable.

Séjour toscan

Les extérieurs ( terrasses , piscine, boulodrome) étaient très appréciables. L’intérieur rustique, certaines sdb exiguës. La situation était parfaite non loin de castelina et Florence, sienne , san giminiano très accessibles. Beaucoup de resto à proximité en voiture ( castellina, panzano, greve in chianti…) Les hôtes sont discrets et charmants. Seul bémol : les réveils matinaux dus aux moteurs des voitures et tracteurs. Bref, nous conseillons et y reternerons probablement.,

Die Lage ist einmalig schön! Wir verbrachten die meiste Zeit in der Pergola und am wunderschönen Pool mit Fernsicht über Weinberge und nach Castellina. Sogar Siena kann man bei guter Sicht sehen. Wir haben mehrmals gegrillt an dem gut funktionierenden Grill mit den sensationellen Bisteca Fiorentina vom Metzger in Castellina. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet - allerdings haben nur 2 Zimmer einen direkten Zugang zum Badezimmer. Die Eigentümer sind sehr freundlich und wir konnten ihren eigenen Honig genießen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Don't miss this one

This place was amazing! Great views of the Tuscan countryside and the house was about a 10-minute drive from the center of Castellina. The kitchen was very well-equipped and and all the bedrooms were as advertised. We were a bit surprised to find that of the 4 bedrooms 2 were in an area separate from the main house and had to be accessed through a different entrance. This was not a problem since the big kitchen in the main area accommodated all 8 of us as did the outdoor terrace. Francesco, the property manager, was extremely helpful, fun, and pleasant to spend a bit of time with. Day trips to both Florence and Sienna were easy either by car from the villa or public transportation from Castellina. We would certainly stay here again if we were to return to the area.

We LOVED this place!!! Every window had a spectacular view. The outside area was fabulous in every way--tons of space to barbecue, visit and dine al fresco, swim, play ping pong, and just relax in the splendor of Tuscany in all its greenness, openness, and natural beauty. Inside, the kitchen provided everything we needed to prepare the plentiful Italian delicacies that abound in the market. Eight of us were totally satisfied with the spaces for togetherness and for taking a break. Francesco is a fabulous host. If we could come back for 6 months, we would!

Perfect place for relaxation and exploring the best of Italy- Chianti. The owner are very helpful and service minded! The place are perfectly situated between wine and olive areas. Its a Short distance to all the lovely sites, and Castellina, where you can by all the ham, bread, cake and drinks for lovely family breakfast and lunches. The wine grapes are hanging over your breakfast table(in September), so no need for fruit table after breakfast :-) Enjoying the sun by the poole area and lunch time with local wine fro the wine manufacturer Castellare just 200 meters down the road..... Casteline is also a lovely shopping site, with exceptional restaurants and ice cream shops...... so book, and enjoy your next trip here, you will not regret!
