Aloha Patti, We are pleased you couldn't imagine a better, more gorgeous setting to celebrate your milestone birthday and you thought the location was fabulous! Yes you are not the only ones who have been lulled to sleep at night and awaken with the sound of the surf. What a blessing enjoy the days watching the water turn from emerald to various shades of blue, seeing the ocean life; sea turtles, seals and birds. Moloa'a is so lovely because there is a significant absence of light pollution and we find enjoying the night sky is special with the star filled skies and moon gazing. Your timing must have been extraordinary to see the shooting stars. We would have to agree that it doesn't get any better than that! Getting fresh fish from a local fish market and enjoying that here is one of a kind. Yes we would agree that there is not a restaurant that has a better view in all of Kauai. Moloa'a is so unique as it is so "unpopulated" and feels so tranquil! We try to keep the property fully stocked so you and other guests don't want for nothing. That is very gracious that you felt that we were great at helping you. We are delighted to be able to spend the time enhancing the value of your time before, during and after your vacation as we like to do with all of our guests...months before a guest stays.. This is a HAWAII VACATION and leading into the your time is as important as the time you are there. We always try to be kind, considerate, provide prompt replies. That is very kind to say this was one of your best rentals!

Yes we agree that Moloa'a is in a great location because of the the beach and steady continuous ocean breeze are wonderful! We are pleased that you found the neighborhood was safe and quiet and the Moloa'a location was fairly central to all of our activities. In the spirit of Aloha we try to help with the concierge services and assisting getting a couple tours scheduled.

Aloha Chris , we re pleased you found the Moloa’a Bay Beach House had a most spectacular view of the eastern horizon at all times of the day from sunrise to moonrise. Very well stated! The Moloa'a crescent shaped bay is unique and we are delighted you feel it has it all: tide-pools, swimming, body surfing, fishing, hiking and snorkeling. Most guests love silvery driftwood, beautiful salt-spray patterns on glass, verdigris hinges, and a continuous flow of delicious fresh water from the sink. We are pleased you loved the handsome, traditional, Hawaiian Koa-wood framed architectural hale. You very nicely described the house being situated next to the public beach access at the end of a narrow lane in a tight cluster of homes. We were glad to try to hep you with the huge car the rental car agency had provided for you...yes the giant vehicle ford expedition for 2 guests was unique and usually renters have smaller vehicles and the under-the-house parking can be tricky for a larger expansive vehicle. We are pleased you found the kitchen has a favorable layout, and well equipped with almost everything any chef might need. We will get another charcoal grill as the salty trade wind breezes do rust things quickly. is on it’s last leg. You nailed it by understanding the sounds of the surf and the coconut palms rustling in the wind is a constant assurance that you are ON THE BEACH.
