Just what two old friends needed for a well located spot in Porto. Close to the action but on a quiet part of the street.

Furnishings could use an upgrade

Our week in Porto went well, but the rental could use some upgrades. Couch in living room needs to be reupholstered because it is very uncomfortable. Back bathroom floorboards are warped and noisy. Bed in back room is lumpy. Black mold on ceiling of front bathroom. Apartment feels rather cramped for space. Positives include reliable WiFi, ample hot water. Host was helpful.

Not as depicted

We would not stay here again. We booked this property predominantly to use the large outdoor space, which is pictured in the images of the property. The outdoor space was completely unusable. The property was lacking care and attention throughout and the outside space was overgrown and the synthetic grass was covered in animal excrement. Unlike the photos in the booking, there was no table and chairs outside or umbrella and the BBQ was also unusable. Inside the property the layout of the rooms was different to what was listed. There were ants crawling up the walls in the main bedroom and the skirting board was damp, smelly and hanging off in one of the hallways. The only positive was the communication with Mariana who let us in to the property. She was sympathetic but the building management company did nothing when I relayed our disappointment about the property. I will be contacting Vrbo directly because this property is not as described.

Appartement conforme aux descriptions. Très agréable, joliment décoré, très bien équipé. Le plus, son jardin terrasse pour profiter de l´extérieur. Super emplacement dans quartier central et animé Je recommande fortement ce logement. Idéal pour couple ou couple avec enfants. Seul bémol les chambres sont en enfilade, il faut traverser le première pour accéder à la 2eme. Si non tout est parfait.

L’appartement était humide odeurs de moisissures durant tout le séjour ! Photos non conformes à la réalité ! Les deux salles de bains inutilisables fuites d’eaux ! Dangers pour les enfants, plafond de la salle de bains qui commencent à s effondrer, morceaux de placo tombaient dans la douche ! Un désastre !!!

Die Wohnung hatte wohl einen Wasserschaden, der nicht behoben wurde. Wegen dem Wasserschaden schimmelt es, es riecht muffig, Wasser tropft an mehreren Stellen von der Decke. Der muffige, schimmelige Geruch soll durch einen intensiven Raumduft-Verteiler überdeckt werden, welcher exterm intensiv riecht. Es war die übelste Wohnung in der wir jemals übernachtet haben!!!

Eigentlich schöne Wohnung - ABER!

Die Wohnjng ist schön und auch gut gelegen, allerdings ist das hintere Schlafzimmer feucht und stark verschimmelt. Der Geruch dort lässt nicht zu, dort zu schlafen. Wir haben die Matratze (auch schon sehr stockig) in die Küche getragen, um dort übergangsweise zu schlafen. Außerdem hat die Wohnung Ameisenbefall, die unsere Kinder nachts gebissen haben. Highlight wäre noch der Garten gewesen, der allerdings komplett mit Katzenkot verunreinigt ist. Wir haben nach zwei Nächten das Weite gesucht. Positiv: sehr nette und Hilfsbereite Kontaktpersonen.

Good, central location!

Initial poor, unclear communication from Become my Guest (Vrbo), too many e mails giving different information. Good, friendly and efficient check in process, thank you! Apartment was clean enough, but lacked any personal touches. ONLY TWO MISMATCHED MUGS in an apartment that was supposed to be for five…we were two, so it was O.K! Lots of plates, dishes, etc., but also only one wine glass! Garden could have been beautiful, but no one had tended it it for quite a while and be aware, if you don’t like cats, there are at least six owned by neighbouring properties which use the garden. We love them, so no problem! Overall, very central and we absolutely loved Porto so everything else was incidental really!

Great location

The property is in a great location within the historic centre. It is a perfect size for a short break. The outside space is a bonus. However a few small improvements could be made: - the beds are a little uncomfortable. Very hard mattress. More pillows would have been welcomed - there are only two mugs and one wineglass. Not sufficient for four guests Overall we had a great break.

Comodidad y flexibilidad

Apartamento perfecto para un fin de semana en oporto. La terraza es espectacular. La anfitriona nos permitió dejar las maletas a las 11 de la mañana para no tener que cargar con ellas. Un trato perfecto.

Like a second home

This apartment is centrally located in an attractive old building. Manager, Maria greeted me personally for an early check in and showed me around, including the large terrace dedicated for the exclusive use of this unit. She directed her crew to come over mid-stay to make up the second room for a friend who joined me, brought over a drying clothes rack I requested and spent time looking for an item I thought I'd left behind. Comfortable digs and commendable customer service!

Wohnung top

Die Wohnung ist wirklich sehr schön, top renoviert, mit gehobener Ausstattung, geräumig. Das Bett ist sehr bequem, das Schlafsofa im zweiten Schlafzimmer haben wir nicht benötigt. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wobei eventuell ein zweiter Topf nicht schaden könnte. Das Haus gehört zwar zu einer größeren Kette, trotzdem sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich.

Great place

We really liked the apartment. It is spacious and with cozy home atmosphere. It fits to both types of holidays: with friendswith family. From our point of view, it was much better than typical hotel, considering quality/location/price and privacy. I wish we could have more time to use the terrace to chill out. Probably, the only thing we would prefer to know in advance is that all rooms are connected. So, to reach the second bedroom you need to pass through living room with kitchen and another bedroom. It wasn't a problem for us, and I guess it wouldn't be a problem for a group of friends. Actually it is hard to imagine another layout of apartments in Porto since all the houses in the city center are narrow.

Reservamos este alojamiento para mis padres y fue todo un acierto. Está ubicado en una primera planta por lo que apenas hay que subir escaleras, es muy muy muy amplio y en cuanto a servicios no echaron absolutamente nada de menos. El WiFi fantástico y el personal muy amable. La zona es muy céntrica así que lo tiene todo.”
