Great stay in Stockbridge. Nice location with everything you need close by.Our host booked us with very little notice and was great with communicating. Would definitely recommend this flat!

Lovely Stockbridge Stay!

This jewel of an apartment could not be better located. You can walk everywhere, but all you need is right there. The space is clean and bright, with lots of sunshine coming through the windows. The kitchen is perfectly appointed; the bedrooms worked out well for us. Thank you,Laura for being the perfect hostess. To Note: if you want to try the absolute best meat pies please go to Harkness, just down the road by the new Marks and Spencer. All hand made, these pies are genuinely the best I have ever eaten!!

Top notch

Great location! Laura communicated with us throughout our stay and answered all of our questions. She also gave us some great recommendations of things to do and places to eat near the apartment. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Laura even left us some snacks! If we ever return to Edinburgh, we will stay here again!

Terrific Stay in Edinburgh

We had a wonderful time in Edinburgh and this apartment was perfect for us. Spacious, clean and quiet. Laura and Maureen were terrific hosts and we would definitely stay here again the next time we visit. Easy to get to all the fun things to do near the Royal Mile either by walking or by bus. There is a bus stop very close by and plenty of restaurants too. Beds were comfortable, the living room was nice and sunny and the apartment even has a washing machine. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay for our visit!

Stay in Edinburgh

The location of the appartement is great to visit Edimburgh.It is walking distance from many great areas. The only draw back is the door on the main level of the building. When people want to get in or out the building they have to slam the door and this is quite disturbing especially at night or early morning. Also, the furniture in the living room is outdated so it is not confortable at all. So for the price paid, I was expecting a more confortable furniture in the living room and also the chairs of the dining table are cheap quality.

Beautiful flat in central location

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the extra added touches the host provided such as fruit, milk, fresh flowers etc. The flat is well equipped and in close proximity to bus stops, grocery and coffee shops.

Central base to explore Edinburgh

The location was perfect to be able to walk to all our destinations for exploring Edinburgh/Scotland. Laura was great - location was quiet for sleeping. Size of unit is generous - you will not be disappointed !!

Stockbridge flat

This bright and airy flat is located on a charming Stockbridge street, steps away from bookstores, pubs and boutiques. The checkin process was seamless. The property manager met us at the door and walked us through the flat. Our host was kind, thoughtful and responsive, and our family group had a wonderful stay. We would return in a heartbeat!

Charming, Quiet and Clean Apartment in an Ideal Location

We loved our stay here. The location in beautiful Stockbridge is ideal-we loved lunch at Hamilton’s around the corner, and Scottish cheddar from the nearby cheese shop. Laura, our host was so easy to work with and answered our messages promptly; Catriona met us at the apartment, showed how to use the heat and the shower (complex), and left us with milk for coffee in the morning. The apartment was sunny, comfortable and clean; the bed was comfortable. We will return!

What a wonderful apartment

Such a lovely property. From the time we booked several months prior to our stay, all the way until check-in, the owner stayed in touch. The apartment is well furnished, very clean and well-kept. It’s in a wonderful location close to shops, restaurants and the Edinburgh Castle/Royal Mile area, as well as museums and art galleries.

Fantastic service and location

C’est la seconde fois que nous séjournons en décembre dans l appartement de Laura … Et ce n’est pas la dernière Ici tout nous plait : L accueil, l ambiance , le quartier, l agencement et l esprit de l appartement… La qualité du wifi, bref c’est pour nous le meilleur endroit pour vivre Édimbourg en hiver .. ou à l approche de Noël 🎄

A wonderful trip

We travelled with our 2 teenage children (14 and 17) to Edinburgh and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laura’s. Communication and checkin were excellent. Stockbridge is a fabulous place to stay. Easy to walk everywhere and gorgeous pubs/restaurants all around. We would definitely return.

Birthday trip to Edinburgh

Lovely flat in Stockbridge in a central location that also provided a bit of peace & quiet away from the crowds. All necessities were there and we had a lovely welcome basket & fresh flowers to boot! Don’t miss the Stockbridge Market on Sundays or the lovely Water of Leith walkway for a dose of nature right in the city.

Perfect stay

The accommodation was amazing. The apartment was comfortable and had everything you could need, and Laura was lovely so you knew you would be able to contact her for anything. It was in the perfect location and easy to walk to anywhere you would want to go.

Fun in Edinburgh

Nice clean cozy and comfortable third floor walk-up apartment. Fun neighborhood with eclectic mix of shops and eat/drink establishments. Close to bus stops that eliminate driving and parking stress while exploring and sightseeing in Edinburgh.

Very nice apartment, splendid location

We were welcomed to the apartment with flowers, milk, juice, and snacks. A very nice surprise. The apartment was charming. Its location was perfect for us with a splendid restaurant immediately next door (SKUA) and others within an easy walk. The entire Stockbridge area is delightful. We found it easiest to use a taxi to get 3 of us up to the Royal Mile although it could be walked. For those concerned with such things, be aware that there are 38 steps up to the apartment. Also, the bedroom configuration is probably best for a couple with 2 children or 2 friends of average height. The second bedroom is quite tight and its twin beds are not well suited to those who are 6 feet or taller.
