The mattresses on the beds are all top quality and relatively new, it is clearly a personal preference on the firmness of the mattresses on the beds and generally we find that most of guests are happy with the comfort and support of the beds. Many thanks for the feedback which we always appreciate. We are regularly updating our home with the majority of the furniture being only 2 years old. We are surprised that you find the beds uncomfortable which is something that we have not come across. All of the mattresses in the twin rooms are quite new and are top of the range and we replaced all of the pillows 4 weeks ago. The essential supplies are usually provided as an initial starter for your stay, but usually there are 2 toilet rolls in each bathroom. So thanks again for your review which helps us to continue to provide the best experience for our guests

Hi Bob We appreciate that the pool is a very important part of your vacation. The pool is cleaned each week, and as you are aware the pool service team came over as soon as you let us know that the water was a little cloudy and followed up the next day to check that it had cleared. They also attended a further time to do the regular clean. We were not aware that you had any further issues. The pool is enclosed by the lanai, so it should not be possible for stuff to get into the pool. If sand gets into the pool after it has been cleaned then that can only happen if it has been brought in by guests entering the pool. We do have a pool net that is by the pool to remove anything that has got into the pool between cleans.

Hi Kendra, many thanks for the feedback which is always welcome. The problem with beds are that some people like a soft mattress and others a firm mattress. There is a mattress topper on the bed already but i understand that it is not as soft as you prefer. All of the crockery and silverware is always washed in the dishwasher prior to check in, we have not experienced a problem before. The cleaners did come over to talk to you immediately about any concerns you had with the kitchen, but when the cleaners arrived apart from a fingerprint on a glass there was no other action that was needed. Thanks for letting us know about the solar cover, we will get that replaced. Looks like the sun has taken its toll on it.

We are clearly disappointed to receive a review of this type as we have never had a bad review in the past. It is incorrect to say that there were only 2 beach towels as our houskeeping team counted them after you departed and there were 9 out of the 10 remaining. Whilst we have provided these as a concession to guests which is not part of the rental, unfortunately some may have gone missing which is outside of our control. With regards to beach chairs again we provide these to as an additional amenity for guests but they are used on the beach and will of course show signs of use. We completely refute that the towels were smelly, these are laundered before each guest arrives and we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of our home. The floors are steamed cleaned before each guest arrives and the carpet was also professional cleaned before you checked in so I cannot see how the floors were sticky. With regards to washing linens, there was washing soap in the utility room cupboard, our home is video inspected before arrival and the soap is clearly visible Our pre arrival video also shows that all the floors are clean. The pillows were all replaced at the start of the year therefore it is hard to understand how they are all flat and stained. At no time during the rental did you advise us of any of these issues, we always ask guests to let us know immediately if there are any problems so we can get them fixed immediately which is part of the check in details that we provide. We have regularly updated our home and continue to do so to provide the best experience for our guests. We did not make excuses but tried to answer your email truthfully.

Dear Paul Troiano, you have stated that i retained your deposit which you know full well is a lie. I did not make any claim whatsever against the deposit and VRBO would have automatically refunded any deposit that you made. This has been confirmed by VRBO. The only enquiry i made was to ask you if you had a pet during your stay as there was clearly a 7" dog bone sitting on top of the cushions on the sofa. ( i sent a photo at the time to you) I struggle to understand how you would not have seen this, it was hard to miss. It also seems unlikely that during an 8 day stay that you did not sit on the sofa. There were no lights or switches in our home that did not work. This particular comment has been included as i asked you how 2 light switches had become damaged during your stay. We have a video walk through between each rental for the benefit of both parties and they were not damaged prior to your arrival. With regards to a few family members coming over, there was a complaint by the neighbours that a noisy party was being held which is in breach of the terms and conditions of the rental agreement that you signed up to. Your email to me asking me to make a refund a year after leaving by threatening me to include a bad review is completely unacceptable

Hi Eric Thank you for the review, the super cold weather when you arrived made it very difficult for the heating to get the temperature, we did have the heating on for the 2 days prior to your arrival but when its 30f outside its a struggle. We always encourage guests to let us know immediately of any problems so that we can get them fixed. We honestly are not trying to nit pick but if there is something damaged by the guests we do have to replace those items. We did advise that we had a 4 screens missing from the lanai roof which is hard to get repaired at the moment due to the hurricane but everything else was OK
