This place was centrally located and was very comfortable! The beds were great and the place was nice and warm. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it appeared to have everything needed for home cooking. Fernando gave us exact instructions on how to get there from the airport and also met us at the water taxi stop and walked us to the apartment and showed us how to use the heater and keys etc. He is such a kind, helpful host!I will mention that the place can be noisy. The street is a major path from St Marks square area to the waterfront. And the vendors use it to wheel their carts out each morning about 6am! So I would suggest ear plugs for light sleepers. Also, the people below us were very noisy and let their kids scream and yell each night about 10-11pm. Unsure if they are residents or other travelers. None of this is within Fernando’s control. Only mentioning for future renters. Would totally stay again!

Such a great property! The location is just steps from St Mark’s plaza and waterfront, yet you feel like a local with its off the beaten path address. Fernando met us at the water bus stop and showed us to the property upon arrival, he was super easy to communicate with and provided step by step instructions on getting there from the train station. The apartment is equipped with new appliances and fixtures, perfect for our 3 night stay.

Perfect Location for Venice Exploration

My wife and teenage daughter and I had a great time in Venice due in no small part because of the location of the apartment and Fernando’s hospitality! Truly 100m from San Marco and since we were travelling by train from Lucca and water taxi, the location was also very handy to the San Zaccaria stop. Very comfortable, bright, quiet and nicely appointed property right across the Calle Albanesi from Venice Bakery - excellent croissants and coffee from this place!! Not that anything is very far away in Venice but the apartment location 100% suites our needs. BBeing so close to Zaccaria B made it also very convenient to access the airport when leaving. Fernando was a great host providing all the information up front and meeting us at the water taxi on arrival! Highly recommended!!

Wonderful flat in a perfect location!

We loved our stay here. Fernando was so kind to wait for us at the water taxi and walk us to the flat. Flat was comfortable and cozy. Literally a minute from St. Mark's square but on a quiet street so we weren't bothered by crowds or noise. Highly recommend it!

Fernando is the best!

Travel delays caused massive stress and lost half a day but Fernando was so gracious and worked with us on our VERY very late arrival. A/C worked great in the summer heat and the apartment was clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect, highly recommend.

Cozy & Clean Apartment

Our stay was wonderful! The apartment is in a great location. The owner is responsive, offered great guidance and tips, and also met us at the water bus.As others have mentioned, there are alot of stairs to climb to access the apartment. Having said that, it's all relative considering the sheer amount of walking and climbing up and down the canal bridges to get from point A to B in Venice.

Lovely Place

The flat was beautiful and very clean. The kitchen was well equipped. The pier and major attractions were within easy walking distance. The apartment is at the top of several flights of stairs which might be difficult for some travellers. There were also a few mosquitoes.

Tolle Lage, super Ausstattung

Die Ferienwohnung ist eine der besten, die wir in der letzten Zeit bewohnt haben: Großzügiges Raumangebot, die Ausstattung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig; schnelles WLAN. Die Lage ist außerordentlich gut: Nur wenige Schritte vom Markusplatz entfernt und dennoch ruhig gelegen. Fernando ist ein zuvorkommender und sehr höflicher und entgegenkommender Gastgeber. Er hat uns ermöglicht das Gepäck bis zur Abfahrt unseres Zuges am Abend im Haus unterzustellen! Wir werden wiederkommen!

Loved it!

This property was absolutely perfect. Location was great, so close to everything, especially the vaparetto, which is so important. We didn’t use the kitchen but it seemed fine. Shower was good, beds were comfortable. We initially thought there were a lot of stairs but as we have continued to stay in different places in Italy, the stairs here are a piece of cake. Would highly recommend this place.

Venice Apartment at St. Mark's Square

Fernando's apartment was perfect for our stay in Venice. Location is near the busy St. Mark's Square and right by many of the popular tourist attractions. Place was clean and had everything we needed and Fernando greeted us and showed us the place upon arrival.

Great apartment, uncomfortable beds

The gist is very helpful and communication was great. The apartment was actually larger than we expected, which was great, and the AC was so helpful in the intense heat. Our only complaint is that the beds felt cheap and old, and we're not comfortable. Location is great if you want to go to the main San Marco attractions, but it also means the area is super crowded with tourists all the time.

Perfect Location

Fernando was very communicative - he met us at the water taxi drop off point and walked us in to the apt. Such a nice man! And he spoke English! This 2 bedroom apartment is in the perfect location for those that are visiting Venice. It is literally right next door to Doge's Castle, so you are literally a hop, skip, and a jump away from St. Mark's Square. We didn't need to walk very far to do anything we'd planned: food and wine tour, Doge's Castle tour, St. Mark's Basilica tour, and a tour of the torture chamber at Doge's Castle. (Gruesome but cool to learn about!) Just know that you will be climbing steep stairs to the top floor! Cool view out the windows, too!

Ideal Location

This was our first visit to Venice and we were not disappointed! Fernando provided detailed instructions on how to travel from the airport to the vaporetto stop where he met us and escorted us to the apartment, which was greatly appreciated as it would have been challenging to locate on our own! The apartment, up a few flights of stairs, is as advertised. It was extremely clean and functional for our purposes. Fernando allowed us early access to the apartment which was greatly appreciated as we had an overnight flight and were fairly exhausted when we arrived. He also provided us directions to the local grocery store and nearby attractions which were all very close. Venice is a unique and interesting city and Fernando’s apartment is located in an ideal location for exploring.

Perfect Location

The location of the apartment is the best! You are within a minute to shops, food and transportation! Fernando was very responsive and met us at the water bus and took us up to the apartment and showed us how things worked! 10/10 would def recommend!!!
