Beautiful house and location

We were very happy with this stay. The house was very nice and as advertised. The surrounding location was beautiful and the town was very nice with great food. Would love to come back!

Wonderful Spanish Beach House

Superb location, we had a fantastic time at the Beach House! We loved being able to walk to the beach everyday and hear the sea at night. The local town is great for shopping and restaurants, and having the bikes provided meant we were able to cycle in to buy bread each day. The children the space and we had a very relaxing holiday!!

Close to heaven

Absolutely breathtaking property and location. Beautiful modern house with plenty of space. We got extremely lucky with the weather and we’re able to make use of the pool in May. Already planning our trip back!

Perfect property, location and host.

We, a family of 4, plus Nanny and Grandad, stayed at The Beachouse for a week in early April. The set-up was perfect, having separate accommodation where N & G could stay and get some peace and quiet! The layout of is great both inside and out; the children loved all the space outside, the trampoline, bikes and table football, as did the adults! Mireia and her colleagues 'on site' were a pleasure to deal with and I'm sure we'll return in the not too distant future.

We really enjoyed our time at The Beachouse. The property is immaculately clean. The air conditioning is brilliant. The pool is beautiful and maintained very well. It is so private, which was really nice. The closest beach, Cala Xelin is lovely (although pebbly). So many lovely coves around to explore too. There is a lovely coastal walk also that passes the property (Camino de Ronda). We enjoyed a trip to Portaventura, our teenage boys had a blast there. Also did day trips to Tarragona and Valencia. The wifi in the property was very good and there is also a smart TV (very important for teenagers!) The kitchen was well stocked and we were delighted with the Nespresso machine! Mireia was very responsive and helpful and checked in during our stay to make sure all was going well. A really enjoyable and relaxing holiday. Highly recommended!!

Little piece of paradise

We loved our stay at The Beachouse. We were actually pissed we had only booked 1 week because it was the PERFECT place to unwind with our 4 month old baby. You're a little bit off the beaten path and it's great to feel part of the daily local in Ametlla Del Mar (were you can namely buy freshly caught tuna). The living spaces are great for spending a relaxing day by the pool and cook a great diner at night. There's also a great little beach about 5 minutes away (Cala Xelin). We would consider coming back at The Beachouse for sure. Thank you Mireia!

Lovely House & Fantastic Pool

We had planned to go and do all sorts of things but the house was so lovely, the pool so large and being there so peaceful, that we spent almost all our time chilling at the Beach House. And plenty of choice where to chill - in the air conditioned house, on the sun loungers by the pool, in the hammock in the shade or on the roof terrace looking at views of the mountain. It’s only a couple of minutes walk to Xelin beach, (lovely in the moonlight), but follow the path to the right of the gates to Cala Nova and a couple of minutes more take you to the lovely soft sandy beach of Estany Tort Beach, with clear seas and good safe snorkelling. Tuna Tour in L'Amettla de Mar is worth a trip - if of course you can drag yourself away from this lovely property.

Perfect place - Wonderfully far away from anything but the sea

House is relatively new, very well equipped and spacious with a wonderful pool. Very quiet without any neighborhood around but lots a space on the premise. On the other hand not far away from Les Tres Cales or Amittla. Great sea view from roof terrace. Sometimes you hear a constant background sound from the highway. (That is why only 4 stars at location). But not really disturbing. Just one more thing: Don’t forget the insect repellent for the moskitos in the evening and at night. Bottom line: A perfect retreat vor relaxing holidays. Due to the small bungalow very convenient for traveling with grandparents, too. 🙂

Beach Retreat

This beach house is really a home away from home. We were a party of 5 adults and were able to spread out and have our own space. The pool was a Bonus because we all enjoyed it. The Train station was so close we did a day trip to Tarragona which was amazing!!! I highly recommend going there!!! The only down side is you need to buy everything you need to prepare your meals because there is no basics such as salt, pepper, oil etc. no paper towels or napkins very little T.P. and hand soap. So be prepared to go to the Super Mercado before you go to the Beach House. There is Ocean Views from the Roof top of the Beach house and the Beach is walking distance from the house. Great Restaurant Recommendations although we ate most our meals at the Beach House:) Loved IT~~~~ Chin Chin

A great place to disconnect

Loved the place, it's a feel good house. Imagine a modern white cubist villa set among olive trees, with a big pool to cool you down from the Spanish sun and the beach at the end of the garden. That's where we stayed. It was very well equipped, inside and outside ( think powerful Air Con and double wooden chaise lounges for everybody ). It was peaceful, quite and pure with the sea waves as your background sound. The beach "Cala Xelin" literary 1 min walk away . A delightful Cala with clear water ( we never saw more than 10 people when we went there ). There are 2 more beaches walking distance "Estany Tort ( sandy beach) and Cala Torrent del Pi ( pebbles)". Loved the wilderness of Cala Torrent Pi. * worth doing is the trekking along the coast path called GR and also hirering a little boat to discover all the Calas in L'Ametlla de Mar. * worth eating in town for seafood and Bluefin tuna sashimi ( apparently is a speciality as the town houses one of the major Tuna exporters in Spain, run by a local family!) We were looking for a retreat away from the tourist trail and we found it. For that I'm grateful, as is such a rare treat when you find it. Rasmus

Der Aufenthalt war wirklich wahnsinnig toll! Ich dachte, dass die Fotos schon toll aussehen, aber es ist wirklich alles noch mal viel, viel schöner im echten Leben. Man sieht gar nicht, wie groß das Grundstück ist.Der Kontakt mit Mirea ist sehr nett, sie hat immer schnell reagiert und ist auf Wünsche eingegangen. Die Umgebung ist toll, es gibt wirklich einige super Restaurants, die ich sehr empfehlen kann (zB La Cuarda). Der Strand in der Nähe ist wirklich wahnsinnig schön, nur leider sehr steinig. Man kann aber super um das Haus spazieren gehen und ist innerhalb von 2 Minuten am Meer. Ich hätte mir den Aufenthalt nicht schöner vorstellen können!

Perfect!

De Beach House is een prachtige villa met een heerlijk zwembad en een mooie en zeer ruime tuin! De ligging nabij L’Ametlla (op fietsafstand) en de fraaie rotskust met kleine strandjes op loopafstand is geweldig. Mireia is erg behulpzaam. Zeer aan te bevelen. We komen graag nog een keer terug.

Une maison merveilleuse

Nous avons tellement aimé notre séjour il y a quelques années que nous y sommes retournés. La maison est toujours aussi agréable. Le jardin et la piscine sont sublimes. Il y a beaucoup d'excursions à faire dans la région. L'accueil est parfait et l'hôte est extrêmement réactive en cas de besoin.

Grossartige Unterkunft!

Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt im Beach House und können die Unterkunft nur weiter empfehlen. Besonders geschätzt haben wir den Pool, das grosse Anwesen, die Privatsphäre, die geschmackvolle Einrichtung, die Sauberkeit und den Komfort im Allgemeinen. Die ganze Familie hat den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war ausgezeichnet. Vielen Dank!

We liked everything about our stay and the villa. It lived up to our expectations and more. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our long weekend! Gorgeous interior and exterior design, plenty of space to relax with an amazing pool (not overlooked by other houses or developments), great outdoor shower, sun loungers and solarium on top tarrace. Mireia is a very responsive host and also gave us many good advices soon before our arrival. The Mireia’s recommendation of where to shop for groceries, eat out, activities, etc. was thoughtful and much appreciated. Any questions we had were quickly answered. The wifi was excellent. Highly recommend this villa. We were able to disconnect and truly enjoy ourselves. Our only regret is that we did not rent it for longer (we were there for three nights only). We were sad to leave and will definitely love to come back

RELAXING RETREAT

We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing at the finca for a short 4 night break. The villa is gorgeous, the pool is a delight and the nearby beach which is 5 mins walk is also beautiful. If you want a quiet, soul re-charging holiday then this is the perfect place!
