このプライベートで安全で快適な1階アパートメントには、コンロ/オーブンと冷蔵庫付きの小さなキッチン、屋根付きのポーチ、Atitlan湖の景色を望めます。 町まで徒歩5分ほどでショッピング、アクティビティ、レストランが簡単ですが、静かな夜には十分です。 このアパートのドアや窓、キッチンは私が手作業で作ったもので、25年間州のキャビネットメーカーでした。 結婚式のベッドには100％の綿のシーツが備わっています。バスルームには、黄金のレインシャワーヘッドを備えた24時間のお湯、十分なタオル、無料のシャンプーと石鹸を1週間未満で提供しています。 また、1日の間に別のソファーとして機能し、第三者を眠るシングルベッドもあります。

Incredibly comfortable, clean, modern and beautiful.

I stayed in this unit and another one on the same property for over a month and they are both so nice. A safe, clean, comfy, open and airy haven. Excellent bedding and fully stocked kitchen, and the best shower I have had in several months of travelling. It is quiet and super clean, and very safe and secure. Modern and luxurious are the two most important words I used when describing this rare gem.

Wallef Garden cancelled our reservation on the day that we were scheduled to check in! I paid on full for this reservation month in advance. They claimed that it was VRBO's fault. However, they had our money and reservation and could have let me know many months in advance that they had our room.doubke booked. We rebooked with Anther agency and VRBO paid the higher cost of the new booking. Horrible business practice. Still waiting to get my money returned to my credit card.

Sorry, check my reviews on the other obvious platform that these clowns won't even let me write in a message. That apartment was marked occupied on that unmentionable platform since December. I didn't see the notification from Vrbo. I do about 95% of my bookings on that platform that can not be mentioned here. I'm sorry that happened to you. I have complained to them about their very poor interface for years and nothing changes. Thanks for your one star, because it's on VRBO I don't really care. If it was in the other I certainly would. I worry about the 95, not the 5. It's gotten way worse since Expedia bought them. Big old corporations for profit. I'm glad they paid the extra money for you. Believe me, if they didn't realize they messed up, they would not have. I had a woman booked my Casa Tula with turnand she thought she was booking a hotel room.

Couldn't be better

Amazing, comfortable accommodations with beautiful views! We were so comfortable here. Enjoyed having a kitchen to cook breakfast after getting fresh eggs and fruit and avocados at the fruit stands each day. Plenty of hot water in the beautiful tile and stone bathroom and plenty of filtered water for drinking and cooking available too. Everything was so easy and made our stay virtually effortless. Close to town, the dock, and the yoga forest. Can't wait to come back. Thanks for making our first visit to guatemala so memorable!

Beautiful Apartment

Really Beautiful apartment, in a great location. So perfect for us as we were doing a month long yoga course, to have somewhere private to stay and cook for ourselves. Great Kitchen with every appliance you will need! comfy bed, The best part was the hot shower! good pressure and something we were very pleased with! Carlos is a great host, super friendly and if you need anything at all he is just an email/call away, very accommodating. The garden is also beautiful and a lovely place to hang out. The security here is also fantastic. completely walled around the property with a locked gated entrance so there really is a feeling of being totally safe here. Will definitely be recommending Carlos' place to friends and family! Thanks Carlos!

What a great find!

What a find! 7 Volcanes is the best place to stay while visiting San Marcos La Laguna. The apartment and yard are absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Your apartment has a kitchen, use of a private clothes washing machine and covered clothes line, filtered water, a fantastic shower with hot water, and WiFi. You will have a private porch with an amazing view! One of the things I most appreciated was the location and security of the property. 7 Volcanes is located in a gated property just a short walk up from San Marcos.You are just far enough to enjoy the calm and serenity of your environment, yet close enough to be in the centre of town in just a few minutes. Carlos, the owner, is very helpful and super laid back. Carlos sincerely wants you to have a great vacation. As I told Carlos, I will plan my next visit according to the availability of this property. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Great spot for my daughter and I

This apartment was lovely. Secluded but walkable to main town. Tastefully decorated and comfortable for my 9 year old daughter and I. We appreciated the hot shower and patio.

Serene and comfortable gem overlooking Lake Atitlan

I loved my time at 7 Volcanes! Very comfortable and clean with all the conveniences. I can't say enough about Carlos he was so helpful before and during my stay. I especially enjoyed the lovely garden listening to the morning birds sing.

Loved every Minute

We stayed a total of 6 seeks at 7 Volcanoes and loved every minute of it. The apartment was very well constructed and maintained. Comfy accommodations that were walking distance to everything was perfect. The secure property was perfect for our black lab, Aspen, to be able to play fetch and lay about in the sun. Carlos was super helpful, even finding us secure parking for our truck nearby. His restaurant, Blind Lemons, offered up tasty dinners and we enjoyed many a fun evening watching movies on the big screen or listening to his Funk Blues. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable.

Set a five minute walk from the town, it is very quiet and secluded, ideal for a relaxing time. The property is in excellent condition and very clean.

Clean, quiet and thoughtfully constructed compound

we enjoyed our 2 week stay in San Marcus La Laguna, tremendously. The apartment is well designed, clean, quiet and contained all we needed for simple home cooking. Carlos, the owner is a masterful furniture builder, who also lives in the same compound and was always accessible for any questions or needs. We had some problems obtaining cash and his 'TAP' app was a true saver for us. San Marcus has no bank or ATM machine access. His restaurant "The Blind Lemon' serves excellent food, and Katarina his Guatemalan wife and her family are wonderful hosts. Carlos is also an accomplished old timey Blues player and entertained at the restaurant on Friday nights. The walk "downtown" is not too far, but at night a flashlight is needed. We hiked the back trails up hills and took the boats to the surrounding villages. Each one is different in its own unique way. The Mayan people at Lake Atitlan maintaining their culture and language, including weaving and other ancient skills and seem to be in harmony with alternative lifestyle seekers, travellers and tourists from all over the world.

Nice and quiet

Beautiful, quiet, secure and close to town would be my exact words!

Our host Carlo was incredibly hospitable - available for any questions and to provide any assistance. The apartment was prefect with a nice patio to enjoy our morning coffee. The kitchen was well equipped and the shower was so nice. The bed was comfortable with the best sheets ever!. Overall a great stay!

secure forest living of the highest order

I had such a great stay in this host’s other property that I had to come back for more. This apartment is very similar to the one upstairs – same top-shelf workmanship, comfortable bed, reliable internet, piping hot shower, and the highest level of security you can get in San Marcos – with just a few minor differences. The front porch is a bit more open instead of being a balcony, and has more of a lush, garden feel. As always, Carlos is the best possible host and has both the big picture (well-designed compound, choice location, peace and quiet, helpful staff) and the small details down to an art. Just a a few examples of the latter, I mentioned to him that it would be nice to have a peg on the door to hang jackets, and within a few hours he had actually carved one up and stuck it on. When I suggested coasters, he whipped up some up out of gorgeous Talavera tiles the next day. This was a pattern that repeated constantly throughout my stay. Apart from that, he is a world-class blues musician, and hearing him make music in his restaurant or in the garden is just one other fantastic benefit of staying here. One other thing that I really enjoyed was meeting the interesting people who came and went over the weeks… every one of them was thrilled to be a part of 7 Volcanes and helped give the place a community feel without ever seeming too crowded. The location is idea, out of the bustle of town but just a few minutes walk from the center. Cannot recommend this place highly enough!

I am an acoustic blues musician, who passionately loves pre war country blues. I just recorded my first CD, Lucky Seven, in 2014 in London. Although I was born and raised and educated in Pennsylvania, I have lived on Lake Atitlan, in San Marcos La Laguna, Solola, Guatemala for twenty years and am married to Catarina, a Maya woman born here on the shores of this lake. I love the Guatemalan people and culture, and also have a restaurant here, called Blind Lemon's which features good food and treating guests to some live blues. I also occasionally have acoustic blues guitar workshops here and also have private students. I have two beautiful guest apartments here in San Marcos that have great views of the lake and it´s volcanos. I have built these with local workers who have been with me for years, and I have done the woodwork and built a lot of the furniture, as I worked for years in the states as a cabinetmaker. I feel that my wonderful quiet, secure, and beautiful compound here is much more enjoyable when I can share it with guests.
