Great stay

This was a wonderful place to stay! The location was perfect. You can walk to beach, the sound and the pool. It was great to have an indoor pool on the days the weather wasn't so great. There was plenty of room for all of us. We had 5 adults and 4 kids ranging from ages 6-13. The kitchen was stocked with everything you'd need. They had beach chairs, umbrella, etc, that you could use. A short drive to Corolla and very close to their town in Duck.

Back to the Beach

We visited this house again after another visit last May. It was just as great as the first time and we're so happy our family was able to use it again. My wife and I brought our son (4yo) and came with our friends who brought their daughter (4yo) and son (9mo). There was plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved all the decks to run around on and the big bathtub in the evening. We especially enjoyed all the beach gear they have in the lower level. Being able to take chairs, umbrellas, and toys to the beach on their cart was super useful each morning. I personally enjoyed the body boards. The outdoor shower and toilet were very helpful. The house was cleaned well upon arrival and we had great communication with the owner about our visit. Overall I highly recommend this property and hope our families can stay there for a third year in 2023.

Nice stay. Great location.

Aside from a listing mistake specific to the rental dates, the entire experience was pleasant. Short walk to the beach is a big plus. This is a great place to stay. Clean, spacious, and great views of the ocean from the second and top story decks. The kitchen has necessary appliances and the dining table is large. Large refrigerator and nice dishwasher. Living room is nice with a flat screen and adequate seating. Bedrooms were clean and well appointed. Parking was more than adequate. Nice outside shower that includes a toilet and attached storage area; great for families with kids. The two inside bathrooms are both acceptable.

Spring Beach Trip

I recently traveled to this house with my wife, our 3.5 yo son, and another couple with their 3.5 yo daughter. We absolutely loved it. The house itself was perfect for us, with more than enough bedroom space for everyone and a nice big top floor where we could spread out and let the kids play. We especially loved the screened porch with a partial view of the ocean. The house was well stocked - we appreciated the cooking supplies in the kitchen and the beach room down off the carport filled with beach chairs/umbrellas and various other supplies. Great location too - just off the beach, easily close enough for a quick walk back to the house to use the bathroom, etc. We visited Duck several times as well, lovely little town with lots of good restaurants. If you manage to find open dates for this house, I recommend you grab it without hesitation.

Awesome Week

Great location. Easy walk to beach. House was very clean and comfortable. Even though it rained on us for 3 days we were entertained with all the puzzles and games provided. Thanks for an amazing vacation.

Beautiful home and SO CLOSE TO THE BEACH

The pictures don't do justice for this lovely home. Our family has visited OBX for many years but couldn't find our "forever home"... Until this year. Everything you need is provided including linens, towels and laundry products. The walk to the beach is extremely brief; the closest we've ever stayed considering the home is classified as Oceanside. Communication with the owner was immediate and personable. Any question we had she immediately responded to and was genuinely interested in making sure our stay was positive. Beautiful home, involved owner and amazing value. Our family HIGHLY recommends this home!

Perfect location and great for families

The layout of the house was perfect for families. We had 2 families with 5 kids. The kids hung out in the bedroom level and the adults on the top living level and no one heard each other. Plenty of space for everyone. View was spectacular! Kitchen was better equipped than my own! Anything you could imagine was there. The weather was miserable cold and rainy (except for the last day of ourr stay) but the coziness of the house allowed for us to enjoy the vacation and relax. Already looking to book for next April!
