Lovely apartment in stunning surroundings

Lovely apartment in former monastery set in Tuscan hills. Breathtaking scenery on the drive to the apartment and all around. Beautiful gated grounds with large swimming pool. Situated close to Siena. Perfect for our party of 2 mature couples.

Best stay of our trip

This place is absolutely gorgeous with the most magnificent views of Tuscany. Manuela and Vincenzo were wonderful hosts and greeted us in person upon our arrival. They responded quickly to all my questions and even helped provide suggestions when I asked for some. It was so quiet and serene in this location and our kids loved swimming in the pool. I was often torn between wanting to explore the surrounding area (which is what I had planned for our first trip to Tuscany) and just relaxing at the property. I would definitely stay here again and schedule more time to just sit by the olive trees or pool and enjoy a glass of wine. Oh, and it was a lovely touch to have a bottle of wine sitting on the kitchen table for us when we arrived.

Palazzo Monaci, Asciano

The hosts respond quickly and effectively to all questions. Manuela greeted us with wine and the makings for dinner—very helpful because we arrived after dinner time without having eaten. The apartment was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. It’s appropriately Tuscan rustic. The grounds are amazing, with beautiful views of Asciano and the Tuscan countryside. A number of beautiful small hilltop towns are in close driving range. There are a number of amazingly good restaurants, trattorie, osterie, and locande nearby. Except for Siena and Montepulciano, the towns were not overflowing with touring crowds. We stayed two amazing weeks, exploring Tuscany in a way we had not before. The pool is inviting, but we only went once. We were there in September,, so the weather was moderate. We recommend Victor and Manuela’s place highly.

Kultur mit großem Pool

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in einer Wohnung, die Teil des Palazzo Monaci ist, verbracht. Die Wohnung im zweiten Stock eines top-renovierten alten toskanischen Landhauses ist sehr charmant und komfortabel. Die Lage ist phantastisch, mit Blick über die Crete Senesi bis nach Siena. Besonders schätzenswert waren die Außenterrasse, auf der man jede Mahlzeit einnehmen möchte, und der große Pool mit Rundblick über die Toskana. Erwähnenswert ist sicher auch die freundliche und zuvorkommende Betreuung durch die Gastgeber Vincenco und Manuela.

Posto tranquillo e rilassante vicino ai più bei borghi da vedere dell'entroterra. Situata su una collina circondata da ulivi e recintata. La posizione panoramica a 360° sulle colline senesi è invidiabile. Ottima ristrutturazione con pietre a facciavista, travetti e pavimento in cotto. Piscina doppia con idromassaggio grande e pulita. Ingresso indipendente, posto auto scoperto. Titolare gentile e disponibile.

Prachtige ligging, zeer rustig, aangename omgeving, mooi zwembad. In het appartement waren alle faciliteiten aanwezig. Je kan zelf koken, fijn terras beneden. Vriendelijke eigenaars. Uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitsverhouding.

CONSIGLIATISSIMO!!!

Bellissimo borgo, appartamento pulito e confortevole in un contesto mozzafiato tra le crete senesi, un luogo ideale per rilassarsi e poter visitare posti davvero belli (Siena, Montalcino, Pienza, Bagni vignoni, Bagni San Filippo e molti altri ancora) e da non sottovalutare la gentile accoglienza della signora Manuela, discreta e disponibile a qualsiasi informazione. Posto davvero consigliato.

Semplicemente perfetta!

Abbiamo trascorso qui alcuni giorni a fine Agosto ed è stata una scoperta davvero notevole. si tratta di un antico borgo abbandonato e poi completamente ristrutturato e suddiviso in molte gradevolissime unità abitative, ciascuna con il proprio spazio esterno. Due le piscine ad uso esclusivo dei residenti, tranquille e sempre pulite, una di queste dotata di idromassaggio. L'appartamento è davvero carinissimo, dotato di tutti i comfort e con una vista mozzafiato (se fosse possibile caricherei qualche foto che ho fatto per dare meglio l'idea...) Infatti il maggior pregio è forse proprio la location, giacché questo borgo si trova a 2km da Asciano, nel mezzo delle Crete Senesi, a pochi chilometri da Buonconvento, Montepulciano, San Quirico d'Orcia, Bagno Vignoni, Rapolano Terme, Sant'Antimo, Pienza... una zona veramente incredibile e ricchissima nella quale, come si sa, è bello arrivare nei luoghi ma è forse ancor più bello il viaggio che si compie... Ps: gentilissimi, corretti e gradevoli anche i padroni di casa e anche questo non è poca cosa!

Una cartolina da ogni finestra

Dopo chilometri tra le brulle e incantevoli crete senesi si arriva in questo borgo completamente e sapientemente restaurato dove il silenzio e il relax sono di casa. Il luogo è molto panoramico, la casa molto confortevole, fresca e ben attrezzata. La signora Manuela gentile e molto carina accoglie con un sorriso, una buona bottiglia di Chianti e mappe della zona oltre a restare disponibile per informazioni per tutto il periodo. Le piscine piacevoli, ben tenute: da lì si gode uno scenario pazzesco, sembra di essere immersi in un quadro! E' stato davvero un bel soggiorno, da consigliare a tutti i nostri amici e conoscenti.

Fortemente consigliato

Luogo incantevole e panorama mozzafiato. L'appartamento è ben curato e molto accogliente. Al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti da una bottiglia di chianti ed informazioni turistichecon mappe del luogo. Le piscine sono pulite e ben tenute e non sono mai affollate. Ogni appartamento è a se stante. Luogo adatto al relax e molto vicino a Siena. Ne siamo rimasti entusiasti!!

vacation in this place is to enjoy relaxation and silence of the place. Each season the colors of different colors and wonderful scenery. Nestled in the characteristic landscape of the Crete Senesi is this ancient village Palace Monks. The village lies on a hill with magnificent 360 degree views of the Crete Senesi, from which you can see Siena, which is about 13km as the crow flies. The whole village is surrounded by a park of 19,000 square meters of which 20% is planted with olive trees.
This is a village of medieval origin, in which over the centuries, new real estate structures, have been added to meet the needs of the local sharecropping.
