Villa Rustika is the perfect location if you want to have a relaxing holiday in an authentic Dalmatian House!
We are in the very heart of Sutivan Village on Brac Island, in the middle of the narrow stone alleys that twist and turn in the historical centre. The old stone house has been recently restored following the original characteristics from the 19th Century! We tried to maintain the rustic features of the Villa without forgetting to improve the comfort level!
A large and furnished garden packed with plants and flowers surrounds the villa. This combination of old stone and green vegetation makes the atmosphere unique and extremely peaceful.  Our Villa will warranty your privacy and serenity giving you the opportunity to reach all the best spots of the village within a few minutes walk. The harbour, the main street, the beaches, the supermarkets are all reachable in less than 5 minutes walking.

LOCATION

Sutivan is a charming, small and peaceful seaside village located on the north-western side of Brac Island shore. The tiny town grows up from its characteristic port and its many wonderful beaches towards the gentles hills of maritime pines and olive trees. Sutivan is caressed by the deep blue of the Adriatic sea and protected by a natural amphitheatre made of perfumed Mediterranean vegetation!
Discover the narrow alleys and the hidden staircases of the old village built with the traditional stone-based Dalmatian architecture features. Follow the aroma of rosemary and lavender through the many biking and trekking paths of the Island. Explore the underwater life thanks to the diving centres that organize excursions every day, relax on one of the numerous beaches, rent a boat and discover the hidden bays and refresh yourself in the blue and clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Ein sehr schönes Haus, zentral gelegen und gut ausgestattet

Wir verbrachten zwei wundervolle Wochen in Sutivan. Das Haus ist sehr zentral gelegen und besticht durch seinen rustikalen Charme. Da unser Aufenthalt bereits in der Nebensaison lag, waren fast alle Restaurants geschlossen und wir waren über die gut ausgestattete Küche sehr dankbar.

Une maison extra, très bien située au coeur d'un joli village paisible et préservé

Nous avons apprécié cette maison typique très bien équipée, spacieuse, confortable et pleine de charme. Chacun pouvait trouver sa place dans ce bel environnement. Tout était accessible à pied, commerces, restaurants, plages, et pour s'échapper, bus, taxi, voiture ou vélo à louer, bateau, ferry... sont à portée de main. Le séjour nous a semblé facile sur tous les plans et nous avons aimé le calme de ce village préservé, les plages et criques, les restaurants du port, les légumes et poissons locaux vendus sur la place et à griller sur le bbq de la maison. Après avoir parcouru l'ile de Brac et les petites villes qui ornent ses côtes, avoir passé quelques heures à Dubrovnik et Split, Sutivan et cette maison demeurent un coup de cœur.

Super Ferien in einem sehr schönen Haus

Die Ferien in Sutivan waren waren wunderschön - Der Ort ist wirklich fantastisch und sehr malerisch . Ebenso das Haus . Die Insel gibt viel zu entdecken, so dass es einem nicht langweilig wird. Wir hatten zu siebt eine Superzeit !! Jederzeit wieder .

Great Dalmatian holidays!!!

We (three families - 6 adults and 6 children aged 4 - 9 years) stayed in this marvelous house for 14 days. This house is all what you need on holidays - peace, beauty, cleanliness, joy etc.). We baked our beautiful octopuses on the grill (in "sač") and it was so heavenly tasty! When we arrived all what we needed was there - wood for grill, dishes, linens, towels, etc. It is so good to seat in the shadow outside in the garden, have a good company and eat something good! And best of all - the owners were really polite and discrete - althrough they stay near the holiday house we never had any bad feeling! So, I recommed the house and we are pretty sure we will come back!

Casa tranquilla e deliziosa

Casa deliziosa con belle stanze e un fantastico spazio per mangiare fuori, lontana dai rumori e a cinque minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia più vicina. Poiché solo due stanza su quattro hanno l'aria condizionata, consiglierei i proprietari di mettere a disposizione due ventilatori per gli ospiti. Non è una casa adatta a chi ha bambini piccoli poiché le scale interne non hanno ringhiera. Per noi adulti una bellissima vacanza.

Excellent option for a quiet holiday

The house and gardens are lovely and comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and the position is fantastic, near to shops & facilities and beaches. Only 2 bedrooms have air conditioning though, so you may have to quibble on that one ! The owner helped out with a fan, but it was VERY hot - and quite mosquito-ridden. Plus points : lovely style, helpful people, well equipped, good position. Minus points: salt, soap, mosquito repellent, water & other basics should be supplied/left. Some electrical stuff not working. A comments book would also be handy for restaurant/ beach recommendations etc.

Une maison charmante et authentique

Une belle maison en pierre au cœur d'un village qui reste encore authentique. Tout est à quelques mètres à pied : commerces, restaurants, plages aux eaux transparentes. Bref, un séjour hautement recommandé.

COME A CASA!

Abbiamo alloggiato in questa casa in agosto per una settimana. Eravamo un gruppo numeroso, 9 persone, 4 adulti e 5 ragazzi grandi. Siamo stati benissimo, Le camere da letto sono un po' piccole, ma la zona giorno (portico, terrazzo, soggiorno, cucina) è molto ampia. La casa è organizzata benissimo ed attrezzata di tutto. I mobili e gli arredi sono tutti di buon gusto (compresi asciugamani, lenzuola e piatti), il che ci ha fatto sentire come a casa e non in un appartamento d'affitto. Al nostro arrivo la casa era pulitissima. Un optional da non trascurare è un bellssimo camino rivestito in pietra che abbiamo utilizzato molto volenteri. Unico neo: la casa si trova nel centro del paesino,e non vede il mare, ma la descrizione sul sito corrisponde esattamente alla realtà. Chi ci ha accolto, Tea, è stata molto gentile e disponibile.

Villa fiorita

Stupenda casa nel centro del paese di Sutivan, e a pochi passi dalla spiaggia. La casa ha una atmosfera di antichità e di rilassatezza. Gli esterni in pietra bellissimi, gli interni completamente ristrutturati. L'abitazione è risultata molto comoda per due famiglie. I due cortili molto curati con piante bellissime sono un utile spazio di gioco per i nostri bambini. Consiglio vivamente questa casa per una vacanza rilassante e piena di confort.

Charmante maison en pierre

Nous avons opter pour cette location à cause de la description qui en était faite et la constatation des lieux nous fait dire que la description était parfaite. Nous avons trouvé une maison possédant un grand charme, très propre et confortable avec les commodités modernes souhaitées pour le confort. Le jardin extérieur était d'un ravissement incroyable nous permettant de passer de bons moments.De plus, malgré que nous étions au cœur du village, il règne un calme qui a été très apprécié Les responsables de la location ont été charmants et ont bien répondu à nos demandes. Nous avons profité de marches dans le village et avons apprécié la proximité de la mer. Quant aux restos, honnêtement, la gastronomie n'est pas très élevée mais nous avons apprécié le Dora. Par contre, nous nous sommes fait de très bons repas avec un site enchanteur pour le BBQ. De plus, nous pouvions nous approvisionner avec seulement un déplacement de quelques minutes, les commerces étant très proches. Il est plaisant de pouvoir aller chercher son pain ou ses croissants le matin sans avoir à se déplacer très loin.Nous avons visité quelques endroits de l'île qui est très belles de par ses paysages. Nous recommanderions assurément cette location à des amis.Un grand merci pour votre accueil. Micheline et ma petite famille.

I have been visiting Sutivan all the summers since I was born. And every year I have being here I have been in love with it. I have the feeling that this tiny pearl of the Adriatic has an impressively unique quality. The relationship existing since centuries between its inhabitants and its surrounding nature hides the secret of this village. Here the man, the sea, the flora and the fauna fund an exceptional balance. Like on a stage where harmony between dancers motion create a piece of Art! And this is something magic!
