We had the most amazing holiday! The villa is in a great location, close to everything you need. The garden/ pool was beautiful and the villa itself was authentic, had everything you need and stayed lovely and cool. We would love to stay again! Thank you for the great communication throughout. The host Maria was lovely, very responsive and helpful The villa itself was wonderful Positives: The location was great, close to the strip and the beach Easy to get around - we used the restaurant next door as a pick up point for Ubers The pool is lovely We had a group of 8 women’s on a girls trip and the property was perfect for it Things to note: We didn’t find being close to the road too loud, but there were a couple of nights it got a bit loud so if you’re light sleepers - this is something to consider The water pressure meant that we had cold showers most of the week - the host very kindly sent someone out but we still had to shower one at a time even if there was three showers at the house One of the bedrooms says ‘double bed and two single trundle beds’ but this is either a double bed OR two single trundle beds - wasn’t an issue - but just something to note Overall we had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend for large groups

The villa is stunning. It’s set in a beautiful well kept garden that is maintained throughout your stay most mornings by the gardeners.A few problems that arose were quickly sorted by Margarida. For example, the doors in the living room to go out into the garden were stuck so we couldn’t open them. We told Maria the host who then got Margarida to come and sort it by a couple of work men.A bathroom toilet was apparently broken by the previous clients but it isn’t a problem as there are 2 more to use. The kitchen is well equipped with lots of utensils.An air con unit was broken in 1 of the bedrooms so only 2 bedrooms have air con but it wasn’t needed as it was cooler of a night.The villa is right next to the main rd so some noise is heard of a night by those leaving the strip. A good set of earplugs does the trick.A villa at the back was used by various groups of youths so music was played day & night. It’s not the owners fault that some people are not respectful of others. The restaurant next door Praia da Festa is lovely for a meal or a cocktail. People use this as the address for Ubers to drop off and pick up for the strip and people can can be heard throughout the night waiting for their lift.Lots of lovely restaurants in the area. It’s not too far to walk to the beach.Maria was lovely and easily contactable.Thank you for letting us stay in your villa

Beautiful villa in a great location

We loved staying at this villa & 100% book again! Bedrooms are a great size, bed were comfy, pool was great! The location is perfect 10-15 mins walk down to the beach, 30 minutes walk to the old town and 5 mins from the strip if you want to party. Really loved it and will be back!

We loved our stay. Communicating with the owner was quick and easy. The villa was clean and spacious, with a large pool set within a beautiful garden. The villa even stayed cool enough for us not to need the air conditioning. It is ideally located - very close to lots of restaurants and bars but far enough away that you don’t hear the noise from the strip at all. The Old Town is also walkable and worth a visit. Highly recommended.

The property itself was nice and generally met our expectations. Unfortunately, our experience after check-out was extremely disappointing and completely overshadowed our stay. After our departure, the owner withheld our entire security deposit, claiming there was damage to the property. However, no evidence has ever been provided to support this claim. There was no check-in inspection upon arrival and no check-out inspection when we left. Despite repeated requests, we have not received a single photo, invoice, repair estimate, or any other documentation showing what damage was allegedly caused. What is even more concerning is the complete lack of communication. We repeatedly asked the owner for clarification and evidence, but received no meaningful response. As guests, we believe it is reasonable to expect that any deduction from a security deposit is supported by clear and verifiable proof.We have rented many holiday homes over the years and have never experienced anything like this. The combination of a substantial deposit being withheld, the absence of supporting evidence, and the refusal to engage in a transparent discussion leaves a very negative impression. Frankly, it made us feel as though retaining security deposits may be part of the business model rather than a measure reserved for genuine, documented damage. Trust and transparency are essential when renting a holiday home. Unfortunately, our experience with this owner lacked both.

Good afternoon Mr. Daan, I am glad that you wrote in your review of my house that your stay generally met your expectations. It is a fundamental concern for me to provide a stay that satisfies guests, and so that everyone feels happy we give our best, with hygiene, with safety, and we do our best to provide comfort and support during the stay. As can be seen in the emails sent by me, your stay initially started off problematic with the presence of more than 30 people in the house, who made so much noise that the neighbors called the police. Furthermore we found on check out the outside of the house in that state: full of broken glasses and bottles scattered in and around the pool and a bit all over the lawn. Unfortunately, you broke the security of the space, which having received extra cleaning, still caused injury on their feet to two of the guests who entered the house shortly afterwards. We need to make another additional cleaning deeper of the outsideto ensure there will be no more injuries. The withdrawal of the securuty deposit was justified by the invoices presented for the extra cleaning services. Best regards, Maria Helena Afonso

Perfect stay

Couldn’t have stayed at a better place, literally 5 min walk to the strip. But you wouldn’t know the strip was there, as it was peaceful.. Next door to a nice restaurant. Would definitely stay there again..

We really enjoyed our stay. The garden and pool were kept nicely - even during off-season. There was some minor damage to some of the AC due to a recent storm, which was immediately fixed. Communication during our stay was excellent.

Perfect Return!

This was our second visit to this property, and once again it ticked all the boxes for us. Lovely and clean, fantastic pool, great location and just what we needed for a relaxing break in the sun.Both the owner and the housekeeper couldn't have been more helpful. The pool and gardens are also regularly cleaned and maintained to a high standard.We all had a fantastic holiday, and hope to return again in the future to our favourite property in Portugal!Thanks to you all for making our holiday so special.

The guest information book contains outdated information.Overall the house is worn out and is in need of some upkeep and TLC.Pool was very nice. Great villa!!

Very beautiful space! Clean, cute, and safe neighborhood. We did have a little trouble with the key getting into the property but if you turn it hard to the left it opens. The waiters at the restaurant next door were very sweet and it’s a great place to grab cocktails in the evening. 10/10 recommend!

My wife and I live on the outskirts of Lisbon, a city name Carnaxide. My wife is a preschool teacher and I'm Retired. In my working life I worked in a large national group having created it and Chairman of a Company from the area of Information Systems, which is also the area of my academic training. Like to live with love and peace and to make friends. We have three daughters and eight grandchildren. All together is a delight.

My house and the other two that make up the gated community were built from scratch by me and my two brothers. Th location of the plot is great: close to everything, with fantastic beaches very close and in a quiet area without agitation.
Since its construction, and even today, they are on vacation that usually we enjoy during the month of August, a great meeting point for all the Family and Friends.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The villa is built in typical rustic style Algarve, in one plan to become more convenient and not a lot of work in cleaning. The interior is nice looking and very comfortable. Outside, beyond the large garden, small pine forest and large swimming pool, barbecue and have a good eating under the entrance porch table. We also have two good car parks, one of them covered.
To keep clean and well landscaped exterior have treated the contract with a team that cleans and works Garden and swimming once a week in autumn and winter and twice a week in spring and summer.
