Es war ein traumhafter Urlaub auf der Quinta St Antonio, wir wären gerne noch geblieben!!!Die Quinta hat eine sehr gute Lage, ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sehr gut ausgestattet.Der Blick von der Terrasse und dem Pool ist sensationell und lädt jederzeit zum Verweilen ein. Wir haben die Ruhe sehr genossen und hatten trotzdem jede Menge Abwechslung in Form von Tennis, Tischtennis, Federball, Tischfußball, kleines Minigolf…Bis Lissabon-Centrum sind es ca eine Stunde Fahrzeit, unbedingt mit der Bahn fahren! der Verkehr ist eine Katastrophe. Vielen Dank an die Vermieter, wir haben viele gute Tips und Hinweise für einen Aufenthalt in Portugal erhalten.

Great escape in the middle of nature. Very well equipped villa with great pool and the tenniscourt. We really enjoy the villas homelike athmosphere and surroundings. You need a car here to get to shops and restaurants. There is plenty to see in the area, so you are not get bored on your holiday. The owners of the villa are very responding and make you feel welcome to this beautiful villa. Highly recommended!!

A fantastic place to stay close to lovely countryside and beautiful beaches

The property is set in very peaceful surroundings with lovely views of the Arrábida natural park. The swimming pool was an excellent size for the 10 of us, the temperature of the pool was also ideal no matter the time of day we went in. There was plenty of other things to do as well, with a lovely tennis court, table tennis, archery, darts, and table football. Communications with the hosts was great and any queries were answered promptly. We enjoyed a bbq most nights and sat under the shaded outside dining area for all our meals so we didn’t use the lovely indoor dining room. At the end of our trip I asked our group if there was anything they didn’t like about the property or could be improved and there was only one suggestion, the oven was a bit slow and small when cooking for 10 people, that was the only thing, everything else was amazing.

Cool memory

All in all a wonderful experience in a great natural reserve in Portugal. It was a little bit outside civilization with the accompanying "side-effects". But we especially enjoyed the peace and quiet.

The most perfect multi-generational family vacation imaginable

Pictures do not tell enough about this elegant deluxe farm-house mansion where every comfort was considered & activities for every age were provided. We began the week with plans for exploring the area....which we did, returning to swim & just chill. The final day we all chose to stay on the grounds just enjoying it all one last time.

Wonderful Villa with hillside views, tennis, and swimming

What a wonderful villa for a family getaway. We all enjoyed morning tennis and swimming in this beautiful villa, with afternoon visits to the beach, Lisbon, or stroll into the village. Our host Ana helped us arrange for the wonderful Helena to come in and cook for us one evening (highly recommend) and recommended some restaurants in Lisbon for a Fado evening (we went to O'Faia which was fabulous). We all agreed we would love to return.

Beautiful vacation property

We rented this beautiful, clean home for a 10-day family vacation. There were 7 of us (5 adults and 2 children). Ana & Antonio are wonderful hosts - very responsive. They welcomed us to the house and provided a detailed list of things to do, places to visit and restaurants in the area. With 5 bedrooms & 3 bathrooms, there was plenty of room. There was even a crib for the 1 year old. It's a large house with plenty of sitting room both inside and out. Big dining room. Many "unique" antiques throughout the house. We would have enjoyed the vacation just by staying at the house. The grounds are just beautiful. The large patio overlooks the salt water infinity pool with lots of seating. Many games are available: tennis, ping pong, foosball, badminton, a play area for the kids. Also, make sure you visit the chickens. Lisbon was only a 30-40 minutes drive, beautiful beaches were 20-30 minutes away, and Sintra was a little over an hour. Speaking of food, you don't have to go far for great food. There are some very good local restaurants: Casa Negrito (try their chocolate mousse cake), Restaurante Bulla, & Casa das Tortas (fresh grilled seafood) to name a few. Also, you must try the Azeitao spreadable cheese. We also arranged (through Ana) for two cooks to come to the house to prepare an authentic Portuguese meal. Overall, you will love your stay. Wish we would have stayed longer!

Ana & Antonio, thank you for amazing memories and hosting our family.

This house was it said to be and the owners excellent at delivering a 5 star experience in their home. The beds and bedding are excellent. The kitchen has all you need. The views are breath taking. The tennis court well prepared and we held a family tennis tournament. We felt we were in a time capsule and experiencing someone's family home. The views breath taking. We hired Ana's cooks to have a traditional meal prepared and it was delicious. You have a choice of options and they accommodated a dietary restriction with ease. Plan to pay the cooks for: the shopping time, preparation time away from the house as well as the time at the house. The wifi was out due to a cable being severed up the road. The owner, on a Sunday, investigated and did all they could to assist. These things happen. We couldn't have asked for more from them and their home. We'll be so pleased to return next year. We hope to celebrate our wedding anniversary there with our family!

Exceptional villa

We had a fantastic holiday, and the villa is amazing! It is very spacious and clean and a perfect place to relax. Amazing Villa

Our stay was wonderful. We were a group of 12 and found the 5 bedroom villa very spacious with large living areas, dining areas and kitchen and many seating areas, both inside and out (with various patios). Our host Ana was very responsive to our requests before we arrived and communicated quickly.The pool was really appreciated. We used the cooks Ana recommended for several dinners and the Portuguese meals they prepared were excellent.

Special place

The villa is absolutely beautiful and the surroundings are exceptional. The photographs on the web site do not do it justice. We had a large group of family and friends for 2 weeks and everyone was very comfortable and Ana was an excellent host. The ‘cookers’ are a delight and the traditional food they cooked was beautiful. The groundsman was also very helpful and friendly. The village of Azaiteo is lovely and nearby Galopinos beach was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t have been more happy with our stay and recommend it to anyone looking for somewhere special to spend time with loved ones.

Perfection

Absolute perfection from start to finish. As many have said, the pictures do not do the villa justice. You really have to see it to believe it. We spent two weeks at Villa St. Antonio prior to our wedding, which naturally comes with a degree of stress. Ana went so far above and beyond to ensure our experience was a relaxing one and she made the lead to our wedding something we'll remember forever. We will most certainly be back for a visit!

Schöne, gemütliche Villa mit netten Gastgebern

Die Villa ist noch besser als auf den Fotos und hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Sie liegt relativ einsam auf einem großen Grundstück und mit viel Platz zum abstellen der Autos. Die Vermieter waren sehr zuvorkommend und der Check in und Check out haben problemlos funktioniert. Die Villa war sauber und ist gemütlich eingerichtet. Es gibt 5 Schlafzimmer mit je zwei Betten und zusätzlich zwei Einzelbetten im Zwischenraum. Der Pool ist das Highlight der Villa und der eigene Tennis Platz, eine Tischtennisplatte, ein Kicker und eine Dart Scheibe laden zum spielen ein. Die Küche bietet viel Geschirr und sowohl drinnen als auch draußen sind große Tische zum Essen. Auch im Umkreis der Villa kann man viel erleben. Zum Beispiel zum Strand fahren oder nach Lissabon. Wir waren rundum zufrieden und würden immer wieder gerne hier Urlaub machen.

Amazing experience

The house and landscape is beautiful. No words to describe the beauty and tranquility. The house is also very comfortable, it’s large, with adequate bedrooms and bathrooms, and so many outdoor and indoor areas to sit as a family or relax alone and read a book. There is a Large dining area both indoors and outdoors. The pool was a favorite for everyone. The location is very convenient; a quick drive to town and to get groceries and there is plenty to do within a 30 min drive from the house. We were 6 adults, 4 teenagers and it was perfect. The host, Ana-Maria is lovely. She and her husband met us at the property at check in to greet us, and show us the house. It was very easy to communicate. We had a wonderful time and hope to be back. Peaceful and scenic villa for families and large groups

Our family group of 9 stayed at Ana and Antonio's place for a week in September. They were great hosts, meeting us nearby to help us find the villa when we checked in, and responsive to requests and questions. They helped arrange a welcome meal cooked by local chefs on the first night which was a nice touch. The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with a huge kitchen for communal cooking and space for eating indoors and outdoors. Beds were comfortable with ensuite bathrooms. Outside, there is a beautiful pool and lots of places to relax with a book and enjoy the views over the Arrabida national park. The house is set in several acres of property which is nice for a short walk, but unfortunately longer walks are difficult due to the number of fences and gates blocking access (despite it being in a national park). A car is a must, and there are some fantastic walks and beaches within a short (~20 minute) drive. The local town (Azeitao) is small but has restaurants and a couple of interesting wineries to tour. We had very few complaints with our stay. One suggestion would be to let guests know what they need to stock up on before arriving (the kitchen was short of some key supplies when we got there). Another heads up for North American guests: no window screens! so mosquitoes can be a nuisance. Thank you again Ana and Antonio for your hospitaliy!

Arrabida is a natural park 20min away from Lisbon. Quinta de Santo Antonio is a 9 hectar field in this park very close to many well-known winefields.
Arrabidas natural park is ideal for walking lovers or families who love the calm and beauty of nature.
During warm seasons you can enjoy the swimmingpool or some of the beautiful beaches that lie only 15min away from Quinta de Santo Antonio.
In the neighbourhood there is the possibility to ride horses, fish, dive or even watch dolfines. For golf lovers there are 4 different golf fields only 15min away.
In the village you can visit wine caves, enjoy wine tasting and try out some of the famous cheeses and regional pastries.
