Perfect escape

A perfect place to get away from it all but close enough to explore the beautiful cities and towns in Tuscany. Lovely views from the pool, we were lucky and had it mainly to ourselves. The villa had everything we needed, it’s has a tradition Tuscan feel which is just what we wanted. The property is approached by a long bumpy dusty track, which for us wasn’t a problem in fact it was quite fun, and worth it for the peaceful setting. Thanks to Claudio for for his warm welcome and Tuscan goodies.

Perfect stay on top a Tuscan hill

Beautifully situated and equipped property. Everything ran smoothly and Antonella was very helpful and easy to contact. We loved the seclusion and the beautiful views on each side of the mountain with a wonderful pool. Everything was provided for and was more than enough for us. There is a track leading to the property but the Fiat Panda we hired was more than suitable. All the properties in the area have slow Wi-Fi so I would recommend you use your 4/5G on your smart phones. We had no trouble getting a signal. This was an excellent away from it all place nestled in the Tuscan countryside but not far from so many historical places eg Florence, Siena etc. Highly recommend.

Beautiful house in the country

This is a beautiful home in Tavernelle Val di Pesa in a country setting. The house is beautifully decorated, the bedrooms large with king size beds, and the bathrooms are updated. There is a washing machine and a drying rack. There was a bottle of local Chianti as well as some fruit and snacks upon our arrival. The pool area was beautiful (although it was too cold to swim) and we watched a couple of breathtaking sunsets from the lounge chairs by the pool. The back terrace was very nice and we drank our coffee there, weather permitting. Unfortunately, it rained four of the five days we were at this house, which made the drive on the dirt road somewhat treacherous because of the potholes. This house was situated about an hour drive from Siena and a half hour drive to Greve in Chianti. The small and picturesque town of Badia di Passignano is very close by. A supermarket and gas station are about a 20 minute drive from the house. Claudio was available by phone and met us in Badia to escort us to the house. If you’re looking for a peaceful hillside retreat, this house will not disappoint!

Erholung pur in traumhafter Umgebung

Ein wunderschön restauriertes original toskanisches Bauernhaus - eingerichtet mit allem was man für einen perfekten Urlaub braucht. Wunderschöner Pool mit Blick auf grüne Hügel. Für Ruhesuchende perfekt! Tolle Restaurants in der Nähe. Schöner Ausgangspunkt für tolle Ausflüge ins Chiantigebiet und Besuche von Florenz und Siena. Einzig die Anfahrt zum Objekt über eine ausgefahrene ca. 2,5 km lange Schotterpiste ist herausfordernd.

Sehr gern wieder ...

Wir hatten 2 wundervolle Wochen, das Haus ist großartig eingerichtet und sauber. Auf der einen Seite des Hauses steht morgens die Sonne auf und auf der anderen Seite geht sie abends unter. Vom Pool aus hatten wir einen wundervollen Blick. Mit den zwei großen Sonnenschirmen auf der Terrasse gab es den ganzen Tag über ausreichend Schatten. In der Gegend gibt es viel zu sehen … Florenz, Siena, die vielen Weinberge und auch nach etwa einer Stunde waren wir in Pisa und am Mittelmeer. Vielen Dank an Antonella, die am Anreisetag so lange auf uns warten musste. Vielleicht klappt es ja und wir sehen uns nächstes Jahr wieder. Übrigens, die „weiße Straße“ hinauf zur Wohnung ist mit einem normalen PKW mühelos zu bewältigen.

Beautiful Secluded Tuscan Apartment

Celebrated wedding anniversary at the Sangiovese Country House. It is beautifully furnished, every amenity necessary is available. Claudio is a very gracious host. It is within an hour drive from Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and many other beautiful Tuscan villages. The roads leading to the apartment are somewhat difficult to navigate in a small car, (although we were able to do so) but I would recommend a small suv and it would be much easier. We used the apartment as our base for our Tuscan getaway and it was perfect. We travelled to many of the towns in the area and usually had lunch and on our way back we would stop for dinner at one of several restaurants near the Badia di Passignano. All of the neighbors were very welcoming as well. Would highly recommend this property to anyone travelling in the area.

Magnificant holiday house

In the middle of the beautiful Tuscan nature, we found a magnificent renovated house - fully equipped as per description. In addition you get treated on seeing a deer, a fox, a squirrel and other wildlife. Not in the description but really worth noting are the lovely and very helpful owners: thanks a lot to Antonella and Claudio for all the ingredients for a nice breakfast on the first day and the bottle of wine on the table. In summary: a little paradise on a Tuscan hill !!

Magnifique!

L'endroit que toute famille cherche en Toscane! Au coeur du chianti, endroit et vue sublimes, grande maison en copropriété impeccable ultra équipée, d'une propreté remarquable, climatisation au top. Grande piscine avec vue sur la campagne Toscane. Gentillesse et disponibilité des propriétaires, voisinage agréable et discret. Nous y retournons l'année prochaine!!!!

Tout simplement magnifique

Très belle restauration dans le style toscan. Maison pleine de charme, spacieuse et superbement décorée. Aucun détail n'a été oublié.Très belle piscine avec une vue époustouflante sur la campagne toscane. Pour des vacances au calme c'est un petit paradis.Merci à Claudio pour son accueil ainsi que pour la gentille attention qui nous attend à l'arrivée ( eau, vin, biscottes,beurre, confiture, gâteaux, lait, etc) de quoi prendre un bon petit déjeuner le 1er matin sur la terrasse ensoleillée.Location à RECOMMANDER VIVEMENT!

Confort, calme et nature

Superbe maison, située en retrait dans le Chianti, qui présente tout le confort nécessaire pour y passer de superbes vacances toscanes. La maison est bien conçue, agréablement décorée, pourvue de toutes les commodités nécessaires. Tout fonctionne à merveille (le wi-fi n’est peut-être pas aussi efficace que dans une grande ville). Le lit de la chambre principale est très confortable. Grande et sur deux étages, la maison peut plaire autant à un couple seul (comme nous), à deux couples ou à une petite famille. La vue sur les vallées du Chianti en prenant les repas sur la terrasse : quel ravissement! Il est très facile de joindre tant Florence que Sienne et, bien sûr, la route des vins du Chianti.

Un paradiso

Se cercate ristoro per il vostro corpo e la vostra mente, questo è il posto perfetto! Incastonato tra le colline del Chianti, un piccolo borgo perfettamente recuperato ; nel piccolo borgo un appartamento perfetto! L'alloggio è completamente indipendente, perfettamente restaurato mantenendo le caratteristiche originarie e recuperando negli arredi particolari e dettagli di altri tempi. E' molto ampio, può comodamente ospitare fino a 7/8 persone, attrezzati benissimo i bagni ( in tutto tre) e la cucina . Il padrone di casa, signor Claudio, ci ha accolto con grande gentilezza e disponibilità e, illustrandoci tutte le caratteristiche della casa. Consiglio vivamente di scegliere questo posto per la vostra vacanza, la bellezza della natura e il comfort dell'alloggio la renderanno perfetta!

Un havre de paix au milieu des collines toscanes

l'appartement est magnifiquement décoré et dispose de tous les équipements qui rendent le séjour agréable. La piscine est immense (16x4m). Claudio, le propriétaire, est fort sympathique et disponible pour répondre à toute question. Une sdresse que nous recommandons chaudement.

Vacaciones en familia

Una casa de campo recién reformada (de hecho fuimos los primeros huéspedes), muy cómoda, situada en un entorno muy bonito. El equipamiento es muy completo, todos los detalles están cuidados al máximo. Todo impecablemente limpio. El propietario nos recibió con mucha amabilidad, con muy buena disposición para solucionar cualquier posible problema. Repetiríamos la experiencia sin dudarlo.
