Amazing property

George's house is fantastic. The outdoor space and pool are beautiful. Indoors is also stunning and very well equipped. If you want a quiet holiday with fantastic views and places to relax, I would recommend. A short drive to the wonderful city of Carcassonne. My only very small gripe (mainly mentioned by the teenage contingent) was the poor Wifi.

Great stay

Property was great. Loads of space and really amazing views! Beds were comfortable. Showers nice and powerful. The pool was the best bit being able to swim and admire the views. The location was out of the way and really quiet The weather for us wasn't great but there was lots to do around us if you're happy to drive. The owner was next door and really helpful. Showed us around personally and explained things. His English was really good. My daughter loved playing with his dog.

Perfect

This Villa is modern and beautifully appointed in a rural location with outstanding views towards the Pyrenees. It is well equipped with the most comfortable beds and quality bedlinen. The kitchen has everything you need for a stay. The pool is larger than the photo suggests. There is a very small convenience store in the village but 10 mins away in Carcassonne offers many large supermarkets, bars and restaurants. Hosts George and Marie are delightful, very helpful and live discreetly next door. This for us was a special place to stay as we enjoyed the walks directly from the Villa and quiet setting.

Great holiday!

The views were spectacular and the pool was brilliant. The property was clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and cooking essentials. The property had four air conditioned bedrooms (one of these bedrooms was accessed through another bedroom) and one mezzanine level with two beds. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and well furnished. Although there is no air conditioning in the living area, it has two ceiling fans to cool the space which worked well for us. The host, Georges, stays in the grounds in his own property and is very helpful. He left us to ourselves though so we didn't feel bothered at all. We enjoyed every aspect of our stay!

Fabulous Villa with great pool, fantastic views and well situated.

We had a lovely relaxing stay at this villa in Ventenac-Carbades for a week in mid September. The villa is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped and maintained. Just as the photos show! The views are stunning and the pool is just fantastic, a great size for swimming and very well looked after. There is also a large garden. The area is very peaceful and private. It was great to watch the sun setting in the distance over the Pyrenees. Georges was very hospitable and greeted us on arrival and showed us around. The villa is situated a few miles outside of Carcassonne, which has loads of restaurants and shops, and about 10 mins drive from the nearest supermarket. The village also has a small store. There is plenty to explore in this lovely area and we would love to return someday soon.

Nous avons fait le choix de séjourner dans cette location pour la vue, la piscine et la villa contemporaine.Tous ces points ont correspondu à nos attentes.L'orientation, sud/sud-ouest, est parfaite et permet d'avoir du soleil toute la journée.Se reposer au bord de la piscine était un vrai bonheur (parfois troublé par le va-et-vient des petits avions de l'École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile, mais c'est une gêne qui touche tous les environs).Les visites et randonnées sont nombreuses dans un périmètre proche et, en quinze jours, nous sommes loin d'avoir tout exploré.Enfin, nos hôtes étaient exactement comme on peut le souhaiter : très attentifs à notre confort, tout en étant particulièrement discrets (d'autant plus que leur maison est placée de manière à préserver totalement l'intimité des locataires).

Wunderbarer Urlaub

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub in diesem wirklich besonderen Ferienhaus.Hervorzuheben sind die hohen großzügigen Räume, das ausgezeichnete Raumklima selbst bei extremer Sommerhitze, die bequemen Betten, die großen Tische außen und innen und die Sauberkeit.Django, der Hund der Eigentümer/Verwalter des Grundstücks war ausgesprochen freundlich und sympatisch und störte überhaupt nicht.Der einzige kleine Kritikpunkt ist das Fehlen einer Dusche im Poolbereich des herrlichen Anwesens mit Blick.

Fantastische woning en prachtig zwembad en terras.

De uitzichten zijn betoverend. Het huis is mooi, handig en ruim. De gastheer is hulpvaardig en erg discreet. Mooie omgeving voor mountainbiken, fietsen en wandelen. Elke avond BBQ en gezellig tafelen op het terras met ondergaande zon. Stilte en rust hele dag.

Urlaub Oktober 2023

2 Wochen im Oktober in einem sehr schönen Haus mit einem riesigen Pool .Ich habe hier nur 4 Punkte bei Online-Inserats gegeben da sich der Vermieter bei uns gemeldet hatte das er einen Fehler gemacht hätte und wir noch 200 € bei Ankunft zahlen müssten. Der Garten mit der Aussicht ist einfach fantastisch wenn mann nicht mit einem Hund anreist da der Besitzer mit auf dem Grundstück wohnt und einen eigenen Hund besitzt ( Rüde kastriert ), wäre das vorher bekannt gewesen hätten wir das Haus nicht gemietet, so mussten wir ständig aufpassen. Das Haus von innen war sehr schön wobei man das anmerken muss das in Wohnzimmer an einer Wand die Farbe von der Wand platzte . Der Vermieter selber war sehr Hilfsbereit und hat uns gute Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben , aber das eine oder andere Mal stand er neben mir in der Küche oder am Pool ( ohne Anmeldung ) um mich zu Informieren, desweitern lief er am Badzimmerfenster und Schlafzimmerfenster vorbei wo die Frauen duschten oder sich umgezogen , das geht überhaupt nicht .

Suite à la 1ère demande sur le site, j'ai répondu trop vite et j'ai rectifié 8mn après en m'excusant, car le prix final était pour 2 couples et non un seul couple (indiqué sur le descriptif et le règlement intérieur). Notre chien ne pose jamais de problème à tous les locataires qui viennent avec leurs chiens de toutes races, Il ne se rend jamais seul chez les locataires et peut parfois me rejoindre quand je dois m'occuper de la piscine. Mon passage derrière la maison est rare, uniquement quand je vais chercher la tondeuse ou un outil dans l'abri. Je fais très attention à toujours regarder du côté opposé à la maison en passant le plus loin possible. Je n'ai évidemment aucun intérêt à faire autrement.

Sommerausklang

Mit einem Wort : Phantastisch! Es stimmte alles. Die Begrüßung durch Georges und Marie war sehr herzlich und persönlich. Die beiden waren falls es nötig war sofort für uns da, ansonsten aber so gut wie unsichtbar. Ganz toll hat es mit unserem Hund geklappt, der in Georges und Marie ‘ s Django einen tollen Freund gefunden hat. Die Hunde konnte ganz unbesorgt auf dem riesigen Grundstück spielen. Unser Hund hat die Vermieter auch ungeniert in deren Haus besucht und war willkommen. Herrlich. Im Haus hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wenn es etwas gegeben hätte, so hätte es Georges herbei gezaubert. Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet. Der grosse Pool war live noch toller als auf den Bildern und die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist im Foto gar nicht so herrlich darzustellen, wie es tatsächlich war. Es waren 3 rundum entspannte und ruhige Ferienwochen im September 2023. Danke nochmal an Marie und Georges. Uli und Jutta mit Giddy

Très bon séjour

Propriétaires à l’écoute et d’une gentillesse qui fait plaisir. Se trouvant à côté, ceux-ci se font très discrets et sont directement disponibles si besoin. Villa spacieuse, au calme avec toutes les commodités nécessaires. La vue de la piscine est époustouflante. A 15 min des grandes surfaces.

Magnifique villa à Ventenac-Cabardes

Très belle villa avec piscine idéalement située pour les amoureux des balades, visites culturelles et touristiques de la région de Carcassonne. A l'arrivée Georges et Marie sont aux petits soins pour que les vacanciers se sentent comme chez eux. Le logement est spacieux avec un grand espace de vie,5 chambres dont 3 disposent de climatisation, une cuisine très bien équipée. L'extérieur est aussi fabuleux, une immense piscine à débordement avec une grande plage pour se reposer et un terrain de plusieurs hectares pour se promener. Aux alentours, en plus de la Cité, vous pourrez découvrir de magnifiques villages, la Montagne Noire et bien sûr le Canal du Midi. Nous y avons passé deux semaines relaxantes et enrichissantes.

Good stay overall

The house is as big and spacious as depicted in the listing, with a beautiful infinity pool and an awesome view!! The beds are very comfortable, but wish the pillows could be a bit firmer. It’s in the countryside so be prepared for some mosquitoes. Out of the 7 nights of our stay, hot water was not quite hot enough on about 2.5 days for some reason. The host fixed it the first time, but unfortunately, Georges was out of town and Marie was out too the second time, so the issue persisted on our last 1.5 days. Overall, it was a good stay.

Super verblijf

Heel mooie woning waar werkelijk niets ontbreekt. Heel ruime slaapkamers met voldoende opbergruimte. Prachtig zwembad met super uitzicht. Het voorste deel van het zwembad is zeer handig met kleine kinderen. De eigenaar is heel vriendelijk en steeds bereikbaar. We hebben een super vakantie achter de rug.

Fabulous property!

We have just spent a week at this property and we have had a fantastic holiday. The accommodation is first class and really well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are high spec. The photos on this site don’t really do it justice … it really is a beautiful holiday property and we will definitely be returning!

Magnifique propriété

La propriété est située au calme à l'écart d'un petit village, tranquillité garantie. La maison est moderne, fidèle aux photos. La terrasse spacieuse et la magnifique piscine (propre) permettent de profiter d'une vue superbe. Trois chambres bénéficient de l'air conditionné. Les salles de bain et la cuisine (deux frigos) sont bien équipées. Les propriétaires vivent dans une maison sur la même propriété, à quelques mètres, mais ils sont très discrets, respectueux, et excessivement gentils. Nous recommandons cette location à proximité immédiate de Carcassonne.

Einfach super

Alles perfekt, besonders der Panoramablick bis zu den Pyrenäen und der wunderschöne riesige Pool sind hervorzuheben. Sehr bequeme Betten, Küche perfekt ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber Marie und Georges sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank, es war wunderschön, gerne kommen wir wieder!

Fantastischer Ausblick und perfektes Ambiente

Traumhafte Villa mit absoluter Privatsphäre. Die Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Der Pool ist neben dem Ausblick ein weiteres Highlight. Nahe liegende Carcassonne ist natürlich zusätzliche Attraktion. Es war Schade, die wunderschöne Gegend zu verlassen.

Spacieuse propriété hyper complète dans un superbe environnement

La maison est grande, bien organisée et les équipements sont hyper complets. J’avais pris plein de petites choses avec moi car nous avions eu une mauvaise expérience l’année précédente et je n’ai rien utilisé hormis mon presse-agrumes électrique (il y en a un manuel) tout y est: épices, huile,sucre, café, tablettes lave-vaisselle, curé-dents…même si vous devez amener toutes ces choses, c’est fort appréciable que cela y soit pour le début ou en cas d’oubli. Tout cela invite à prendre soin de la maison comme de la vôtre. La propriété est immense et vous pouvez vous balader dans le domaine. Georges et Marie sont aux petits soins tout en étant discrets. Un grand merci pour les bouteilles de rosé et vos bons soins! Le quartier est super calme et sera le point de départ de magnifiques balades dans la montagne noire. La piscine est juste magique et sécurisante car 1m30 de profondeur, idéale pour les enfants. Bref un havre de paix dans une nature encore intacte.

Séjour de plénitude

Havre de paix dans un cadre plaisant avec une vue superbe surplombant les alentours avec vue sur les Pyrénées. Propriétaire très accueillant et discret. Équipements très complets. Grand espace extérieur avec une piscine majestueuse ! Nous ne pouvons que recommander la location.

Es waren wundervolle 2 Wochen die wir hier vebracht haben

Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen. Es wurde an wirklich alles gedacht. Die Betten waren super bequem. Es gab mehrere Kissen und Decken zur Auswahl. Der Pool war fantastisch! Vielen Dank an unseren Vermieter Georges!!
